Thank you Prof Sarkar!, You explained things very well, very good teaching methods. I have gone through many of the lectures here on youtube from famous ml researchers etc but yours are they best!
Different opinion but to me a good teacher is he/she who can explain and talk about the subject without any materials like notes or ppts, ex. Trainer in REPUTED coaching institute,,,
it would be great to have these online courses and have an online environment for tests and evaluations...unfortunately I heard that you can get evaluated only in India. but still....amazing work done by you...thank you!
@@carloscollaorubio4330it's not completely online tho you can audit the course online with timely tests and assignments submission through website but to the best of my knowledge the final exam centres are located across India itself

Mam Your lectures on NPTEL are very knowledgeable and i am a regular viewer of your lectures on machine learning. Now i have taken admission in p.hd. and i am interested to do some research in the field of data mining so i was hoping that if i can get some guidance from you about suggesting some topics/fields for me which i could use for my research work. I will be grateful to you.
When madam is saying that complex functions or rich functions are difficult to learn, does she mean that rich functions need higher computational capacity?
