Hey girl, my boyfriend and I watch your videos all the time. He just texted me and said she just uploaded a video. I was so excited. I am feeling excited right now.
What a blessing to be able to say "I think I'll go to Paris" and book a trip! I pray that you will continue to be so blessed. Enjoying the vlogmas and I really love your closet. Your Christmas tree is really nice too!🎄🎄
The Diptyque candles are very nice. I used to pick them up for friends back in the 80s at the Diptyque Paris boutique in the 5th. Whenever I'm in Paris and friends request them, I hop on the bus, from wherever I'm staying in the 6th, and go straight there and load up. As for Paris, although I have stayed in a lot of districts of Paris, since I was around 20 in the mid 1970s, I personally prefer the 6th due to the location. It suits my needs and as far as getting to other areas, I usually take the bus. If I need to get somewhere fast, then I take the metro. Where I stay doesn't matter as far as transportation, but more for where I eat and also know shopkeepers and small restaurant owners. The shopping is spread out all over Paris. As for Airbnb-ing in Paris, I wouldn't do it as there has been much uproar from Parisians about Airbnbs for a good a decade now although there were plenty French and other European short term rental companies long before Airbnb even existed. I'd just stay in a hotel although I have also stayed in an apartment for up to a week owned by someone here. As for hotels, if you choose the 6th, and I've stayed at a lot of hotels in the neighborhood and have known a lot of hotel managers, I'd go for Hotel Madison which is a great location and right across from Metro Line 4 and the buses across from Cafe Deux Magot area.. It's easy to jump on a bus and go straight to The Louvre (7 minutes) as the bus stops in front of it and further up the street from the Louvre to Opera in the area of both Printemps and Galeries Lafayette and that part of town in general. And it's also easy to get to the Marais. Hotel Madison is across from the Church of Saint Germain which is across from Cafe Deux Magots, near Cafe Flore. I've been a Cafe Flore person for decades. On the day that I arrive into Paris, I go in for a kir royal (kir and champagne) to start off my week which has been my personal tradition for decades. And sometimes one of my Parisian friends and I drop by there to chat and have a small meal. Another really excellent hotel in the 6th, is the Hotel Saint Paul Rive Gauche. It's a bit more south in the 6th, but still an excellent location. For a really good jewelry boutique that I think you would like, it's Fabrice on the rue Bonaparte in the 6th, about a 3-minute walk from the church and 5 minutes from Hotel Madison. I've been shopping there for years and have gotten some really great ethnic African pieces along with other types of pieces. They do bold jewelry. And for handbags, it's Jamin Puech and there's one on rue Madame at the south end of the 6th. I've shopped Jamin Puech since the 90s for whenever I want something unusual. Their Honu tote is still going strong. I have it in four different patterns and a couple different sizes, both small and medium. I love all of them and especially a couple of patchwork denim ones that I picked up in 2016. The public transportation system is really good. I also like to walk a lot through the tiny streets of the 6th and the 7th leading up to Le Bon Marche department store, personally my favorite, and also La Grand Epcierie which is attached. And on the way between the 6th and 7th, I swing by Poilane bakery on the rue Cherche Midi. Plus, there are also cool shops on that street and other small streets in the area. And to the east of my area, I can easily walk to the 5th. And if I don't want to walk, I just jump on the metro and go only one stop either west to the 7th or east to the 5th of my area. I walk all over Paris. I remember once when there was a major transportation strike and I had to get to and from my optician in the Marias and I was staying in the 6th. I walked to and from the Marais to pick up my eyeglasses, sashayed all the way there and back wearing my Chanel suit, hat, and gloves. LOL! Have a great time and also in Iceland which I've heard is beautiful as many friends have gone over the decades. I wish I had done it in the 1970s and 1980s. But, since the early 1970s, I've been back and forth to Copenhagen staying mostly whole summers, but also for some weeks, I never got as far as Iceland as it was very expensive to go there back in the day. Instead, I would take short trips to Norway, Sweden, and Finland, and then back to Copenhagen. Greetings from Los Angeles
We visited Iceland as a stop on a transatlantic cruise from Europe to Boston. The whole experience was magical. Every stop, the people were kind and welcoming. Enjoy. Xoxo 💕
Poco poco ... which my late Jamaican aunt would say -- which means, not too high or too low, just okay for now. And this video hits the right spot because my closet needs to be organized better. AND have a wonderful trip to Paris and Iceland, that's what dreams are made of.
We used Closet Factory here in Columbia, SC. They do so much more than closets! They have designed our Flex room, office, sewing center, Murphy bed. The pantry and Laundry room. Our next project is the huge walk-in closet, with 6 jewelry drawers. Then our dining room bar to hold my stemware collection, wine and assorted dinnerware.
I have a cleaner for you. Go to the a dollar tree and pick up a bottle of Awesome. The original not the orange one. It cleans absolutely everything, especially anything that has any oil base. I used it to get old grease off cabinets when I moved in my house so I could paint them.
I really appreciate your videos! Such helpful information. (I cracked up laughing when you said you took a break from cleaning to book a trip to Paris! I know you’ll enjoy it.)
Not Ms. Teacher - Tashira asking for the descriptive vocabulary 👩🏿🎓😄 I am feeling joyful anticipation for the rest of the holiday season. Also, LOVING the impromptu European trip for you! 🗼🛫 And the "cloffice" looks amazing!
3:20👋🏽 Tribe! Midway between exhausted/exhilarated… life of a solopreneur who is also a full time Music Production student 😮💨. 15 days until holiday break & I’m in the DR on my white toe nail ministry!
Yes to solo trips!! That trip to Paris sounds exactly what I need. Please share your itinerary, location you stay at, shops you are planning to go, everythang!
I went with Closets by Design as well and I love that I could put everything in there for the first time in my life and then some. My trade-off was not getting an island in there.
Love your channel and how down to earth you are. This is perfect timing as i'm currently preparing to do a custom closet! Wishing you continued success!
Today I’m feeling a little under the weather, but God is still in the business of Healing! ❤️🩹 I stumbled upon your channel yesterday and must say I’m still binge watching today! 🤗 I absolutely love your content, style and sense of humor most of all. 😁 I believe the shelving fabrication is melamine. I would try “The Pink Stuff” cleaner as I used it at my daughters apt the remove just about everything from the walls including crayon, markers & makeup. She’s a MUA with a 4 year old! 🤦🏽♀️🤣 Enjoy your trip to Paris 🇫🇷 and layover in Iceland. 🇮🇸 Happy New Year! 🎆 🎉🥂🙏🏽🧡
Look for hotel deals through Airbnb. A friend and mine going to Paris last June got a hotel one block off Champs-Elysees (very close to all the action) for $120 a night through Airbnb. We later found out on arrival that the original price starts at 895 Euros! Overpriced in our opinion, but a steal for what we got it for! We got our hotel less than two weeks before our trip, so that probably explains the low price.
I love looking at closet tour videos because I love looking at everything together. It really tells the story of the person! I recently redid my closet this year and I’m absolutely in love with it! I got rid of some things and added some pieces and I discovered I’m way more of a heel person than a handbag person. I have like maybe 10 designer bags, but 50 pairs of designer shoes 😂😂😂 I’m still building my wardrobe because there is space to grow but I’m not rushing it just because the space is there to fill. I want to select high quality items that fit seamlessly with the rest of everything. I’m with you in the fact that I spend most of my time in front of my closet or in my vanity, those are truly my happy places in my home! Love this video!
I am enjoying Vlogmas so much more this year and I know why. I think you are as well. Excited about your trip and looking forward to all the great things you have to share with us!
I stayed in the 8th arr. when I was there. Hotel Napoleon is verrrrry old world (modern bathroom tho). You can see the Arc de Triomphe from the hotel door, and the Champs Elysee’ is a block over. I miss Paris SO much!
Again, thrilled to see you again so soon!! And that you can talk about handheld steamers and dust and we are still waiting impatiently for the next one means we love all things about you! Paris and Iceland! Live that life sis, live that life.
Instead of stacking jewelry cases inside the space, try to do a inner drawer in those deeper drawers. That way you can have something above and below. Great video girl!
My suggestion is a solution of Google Gone, dishwashing liquid and some water. Wipe with a soft cloth/rag and then wipe with a damp rag. This and the Magic Eraser should work. Good luck!
I was overwhelmed but excited to start new beginnings of my business for this coming year! Your nails are OVAAAA! & THE Jill Sanders tshirt is now on my wishlist! ❤thanks
Hey T. I was feeling relaxed. Sipping my cuppa. Then the homegirl said she just booked a flight to Paris‼️ Soooo now I’m feeling: shook up🫨🫨 , excited-living vicariously thru my stay-fly good sis, and loving my cool out Sunday even more. We’re going to Paris y’all 🙌🏾🤌🏾🎉🇫🇷 P.S. the warby specs are still spec’n…so gorge on you🤎
Have you tried Goo Gone on your closet? California Closets uses that during their installs and recommended it to me. Mine are white too and I get grayish finger prints on mine from time to time. 😫
MASSIVE Diptyque fan!!❤ I hardcore love their fragrances for smelling unique and sexy and grown. The way my house smells after one of their candles....hell the way I smell afterwards! All I can say is nobody talk to me😂 I'm a woman about the world!!!!
Love a good Diptyque moment!! Enjoyed this closet tour a lot. Where do you store the out of season pieces? Also, for Paris shops, there is a lady on here named Cappuccino and Consignment that has lists of shops for sale. Great vlog! Thanks for sharing 😊
When are you headed to Paris? Love your videos and your spirit they calm me. But the most important thing I have learned from you is to be intentional. Thanks

"I took a break from cleaning to buy a ticket to Paris". Typical 😂, I love it.
Hey girl, my boyfriend and I watch your videos all the time. He just texted me and said she just uploaded a video. I was so excited. I am feeling excited right now.
I love this! Tell him we’re live three times a week this month 😂
She's just fab and your handle name is fab too!

I'm feeling relaxed. I took a PTO day and had a massage. It was well needed.❤❤❤❤
Nothing like a spontaneous trip. Especially with a little discount. I love it for you!!
I have a cleaner for you. Go to the a dollar tree and pick up a bottle of Awesome. The original not the orange one. It cleans absolutely everything, especially anything that has any oil base. I used it to get old grease off cabinets when I moved in my house so I could paint them.

Every time I watch P&F , I get new ideas . Just noticed the orange covered books on the closet shelves . I love the look.
Le Marais neighborhood is where it’s at🙂

You need to connect with Cappuccinos & Consignment she goes to Paris all the time to thrift and she is based in the DC area.
I can't wait to have my own custom closet one day. Love how yours is set up!
This is part of my self-care. You remind me to breathe ..... and laugh (you be on one sometimes)

Valois Vintage is a must. Certainly not one of the quaint vintage stores but amazing finds !!!
I’ve been wanting to go there, I will definitely hit them up when I go.😊
I am enjoying Vlogmas so much more this year and I know why. I think you are as well. Excited about your trip and looking forward to all the great things you have to share with us!
Yes I am!
I haven’t been to Paris but Christine Le on YT has a few travel vlogs where she talks about the vintage shops she hits up when she’s there.
Thank you!
Ask Monroe about Paris....thoroughly enjoyed... all about the wit and conversation for me....
I stayed in the 8th arr. when I was there. Hotel Napoleon is verrrrry old world (modern bathroom tho). You can see the Arc de Triomphe from the hotel door, and the Champs Elysee’ is a block over. I miss Paris SO much!

Try cleaning your make up stains with baby oil. It works for me every time. Cheers ❤
Feeling blessed thanks fa asking 😊
Paris! Stay in Le Marais for vintage shopping and fun eats.
Instead of stacking jewelry cases inside the space, try to do a inner drawer in those deeper drawers. That way you can have something above and below. Great video girl!
That's a great idea!
Try Expo Cleaner, just a light mist and wipe immediately. It removes markers, makeup stains, etc.I hate the stains on white also.
Omg! We keep going to the same spots! I'm taking my mother and my son to Paris this summer!
My suggestion is a solution of Google Gone, dishwashing liquid and some water. Wipe with a soft cloth/rag and then wipe with a damp rag. This and the Magic Eraser should work. Good luck!
Goo Gone
. . . and a 2nd. note, the wood you were referring to is called veneer.☺🐆
I was overwhelmed but excited to start new beginnings of my business for this coming year! Your nails are OVAAAA! & THE Jill Sanders tshirt is now on my wishlist! ❤thanks

I’m content with no complaints. I use Neutrogena Take the Day Off makeup wipes to keep my white surfaces clean🤫
Have you tried Goo Gone on your closet? California Closets uses that during their installs and recommended it to me. Mine are white too and I get grayish finger prints on mine from time to time. 😫
Thank you!

We went with closet by design as well.. .. i was able to get lots of hanging space but i need to do the big declutter. I thought i did but I’m still consistently passing over the majority of my clothes.. i just stumbled upon your channel. I’m going to purchase ur declutter book bc that hugging ur clothes method DID NOT work for me😬
