Wow that was brilliant... I was born in 1958 I lived with my mum and grandparents in dinmont house from 1960 to 66 the we moved from my grandparents to 79 goldsmith row untill I was about 14 I went to seabright infants and junior school and then on to south hackney secondary school..I was a milk boy working out of unigates just off laureston road...you given me so much pleasure by sharing these brill pic's as yo can appreciated I know the whole area with great fondness... really appreciated kind regards Dave 😁👍👍👍👍👍👍
Wonderful pictures, thank you. Just one minor criticism, why the sad music? Surely something more “happy” would be more appropriate to celebrate our heritage.
for a TIME LOST AND WILL NEVER COME BACK , HAVE YOU BEEN BACK TO HACKNEY LATELY HAPPY YOU MUST BE JOKING EVER HEARD OF WHITE FLIGHT ME, NOW DOWN SOUTH COAST BUT STILL GOT OLD HACKNEY IN MY HEART
Even though most are references of times well before my own, they all succeed in instilling in me a deeper sense of belonging.
Thanks for your work!
Thank you
