During burnout, your bar recovers 60% faster if you're walking forward. Also, start your DP punish with Drive Impact. You'll take even more of their drive bar away!

As a Maximilian dood and sajam fan, i say u guys are not competing by our atention, i'm just happy to have one more good streamer to watch and have Fun..❤
as a non street fighter player my journey during the beta was a road to bronze and I did it! from rookie to bronze. learned a lot and had a lot of fun. road to gold when the game comes out for me lmao
Ive noticed theres like two schools of jamies, those like brian who just never give up the chance for oki to drink and those who take every opportunity to drink even if it means losing screen space. I wonder which is the better play style in the long run.
Well it's also probably match up dependant. You don't care as much about losing screenspace against a character that has no threatening long range options.
I'm just hyped to have a SF game again where choice hasn't yet been optimized out of the game, and that enough depth that maybe we'll never even quite reach that point. Watching SF5 gets so damn same-y after a while; I never really feel that way with 6 (yes, I know it's super early, but still).
I like that and I also like how supers have their own specific meter just for that. I feel like if supers were part of the drive gauge also it would just be too much tied to one meter and therefore supers would never be used. Also I think it was a great idea to give us full drive gauge at every round start cus otherwise we’d spend half of every round if not more not being able to use all the cool drive mechanics. Plus since it refills at the start of every round it allows you to take risks and spend all your drive gauge to get the kill if the opponent is close to death since it’s gonna refill anyways at the start of the next round
I hope Brian F wins xD. I'm a Brian F fan and he's just so fun!! People get so trolled by the stones, and his voice lines are so cool like when he sings about old homeless men LOL! He's super random but also smarter than he looks, just like me xD.
9:40 now imagine being a brand new content creator. Feels damn near impossible. But at least I'll be having fun the whole time. SF6 really is on another level.
You know, I've come to really appreciate GG style of supers' input. 632146 don't clash with shit and you won't ever get them accidentally while trying to do a DP.
Indeed. I too am a big fan of this. I think SF just keeping their motions this way due to respect for "legacy skill". Plus they way you can layer things in the input buffer is just really cool and fun once you've become one with your main. The 2 from your 2mk is also the 2 in your 236hp, and that 236hp is the first 236 in your 236236p. Once you wrap your head around the input buffer you can do some cool stuff.
As a long time Melee player moving into SF6 as my first serious traditional fighting game hearing people talk about "DI" in this game keeps throwing me off. "Is there directional influence in SF? Oh yeah, they mean drive impact."
I'm not confused by this, but it's gonna be weird that nothing can stop my combo from working but me once i've got the first hit, and you can't influence the opponents combo once they start it, guess you have time to put the controller down and have a swig of a drink or something.
@@Windraesa what's awesome about SF6 is how most of the moves are minus on block. Making for very few true block strings, so it's much easier to interrupt your opponent's pressure similarly to melee.
That's my reaction whenever I hear people with a smash background calling things laggy "What do you mean that move is laggy? the game is running smoothly and how could just a singular move be lag- oh right you mean it's slow on startup"
Idk if the tip is needed but to know if a LV3 is CA or not if you didn't check the meter when it hit, is that CA happens when your health turns Yellow.
Good to see some Jamie action. Since the original cast on the first beta, my eyes were on this guy and he'll probably be the one I'm gonna get to grips with the game on. It's always good to follow a player of your character to see how people play him and how they overcome potential hurdles.
Geeze, that Kimberly literally swung for the fences there. Also, did Jamie seriously just say during a perfect parry "hold this L"? The more I see you play Jamie, the more I lament I can't play this cool game...
Now let’s see how far you can go on modern. That’s the real challenge. Any master can master with all his tools available. But can he still be master with 20% damage reduction and reduced number of input options
6:34 Look at this weirdness when Ryu does a crouching punch. He freezes until Jamie "catches up" to his fist, whereupon the attack somehow connects. If that's rollback in action, that is a _hell_ of a lot of frames-I count 11, or about 183ms, minimum.
That's due to Drive Rush. Brian (Jamie) performs a Parry into Drive Rush, which makes the game freeze for a short time as some extra flair. Ryu is stuck in his animation at that point, but the hitbox is still active. It's not rollback or a glitch
@@namename9194 Makes sense. Thanks. Those impromptu pauses, I have long felt, are 1: going to eventually be deliberately abused to screw with opponents' timings, and 2: be a bitch and a half to account for when people really start mastering JP, since they prolong the timings on his traps.
that combo's not particularly hard on classic though. The real reason modern is overtuned is the hit confirms, the combos themselves are usually pretty replicable on classic.
It's a pretty easy combo on classic too. This game just has high damage in general. The hardest part is timing the charge time which modern still needs to time
