I was a teen Mom, One of my best friends was also a teen Mom, this was back in the 80's. At 1st we were both on welfare, As soon as we both got jobs, minimum wage, because neither of us graduated high school. We both realized we needed self care, she would take my daughter for the night, my self care for the night was a long hot bubble bath while reading. Her's was reading in a near by park, neither of which cost a penny. Self care does not have to be expensive. Bubble bath;s or reading is not your thing, you can find other thing that are, take a walk, run, pray, exercise if you don't have money most likely you have friends without money ask them for advice.,

When you take that trip to the Grand Canyon, take the kids to Bearizona and the Grand canyon Deer Farm in Williams, AZ. There are also tons of hikes you can take in AZ as well.
It's embarrassing to say this but my parents never cared about our hygiene. I only noticed that with my brother, cause I ended up realizing that I needed to smell good and that I needed to have a proper hygiene on my own. Both of them are very narcissistic so I was able to connect the dots when I was older. Only christmas parties, and other events that they would care about our hygiene or our outfits, cause they needed to save face. It's crazy looking back now as an adult and see how much we were there just because they wanted to HAVE kids, not educate or guide, or raise etc.

My oldest boy has to be kept on all the time! He wants long hair but it stays a mess and I tell him all day to brush it and to change his clothes and to shower then I have another boy who is the complete opposite

Yep i had 2 jobs and nick attacked me cuz he thinks he makes for a better mom
He thought making a woman angry means he can swear they don't have self care
God point kids can get infections not letting their moms teach them
