- If you have a Solo Stove, you should empty the ash pan after every use, wipe down the fire pit with a clean cloth and store it in the carry case or cover.

I have one of these.. the large $600 device and you need 2 people to flip it over and shake out the ash without damaging it.. what kind of designer does not design in a way to get the ash out.. akin to a toaster oven tray. You just can’t fix stupid.
I own this and it's stupid. Waste of money completely
My wife and I bought one of these sight unseen. Amazing design at low smoke fires but why did they make it so hard to get the ashes out? Its like a bag grass catcher that is permanently attached to the mower.
Also I appreciate the short video not wasting my time; but this guy never used it and he’s telling us what to do? Meh.
Wish I had waited to buy the new one that is easier to clean out. I feel like my current one doesn’t work as well bc turning it upside down and shaking it only gets so much.
The stove isn’t “breathing” like it did when new.
How do you put out the fire if you need to before the wood burns down ?
To everyone who bought these too early, they now have removable ash trays!
too much work. too expensive.
