It's crazy to me that 10 videos ago he was driving a Honda Civic and now we are in a mclaren GT. And he still has the same calm voice LOL
Yeah well Civic is equally exciting but for completely different reasons

@@llomasi1979 ok
@Spaceman Spiff aight bro relax it’s a civic at the end of the day
@Spaceman Spiff cool
I have a friend who was somewhat set on a 720s and ended up getting the GT instead. Test drove both at our local dealership and actually preferred the GT considering the exterior design and price being more appealing (100k+ less). In person this car looks amazing and the turbo noises are awesome.
Is it just me or did everyone completely forget this car existed after it was unveiled? I've never seen one outside a dealership, and they've been on sale for almost two years.
There's just not many dealerships. If you're not within 50 miles of a dealer, likely not going to buy one vs a Porsche, Audi or Benz.
@@weirdshibainu theres like 3 dealers near
@@weirdshibainu near me**
@@ps1hagrid84 So what? There's a total of 29 McLaren dealers in the USA. Not a big presence, especially when compared to Porsche or Audi or Benz.

I love the color and how they made it more practical, very cool McLaren
man I've been waiting for a decent review for this mcalren, 100% loved it!
Driving a McLaren around those beautiful fall colors, love it.
Hey Topher, really appreciate your thoughts on steering feel in your reviews. Especially since the videos are POV, we can see how the steering communicates to the driver. Thanks!
Don't take this as hate, because I love McLarens, but I feel like their Interiors are never quite there...
I second on that. They disparity between their interior and exterior is way too much. Trashy infotainment too. Beautiful chassis and engine tho
Strength & Weaknesses
Yes, compare this to the recent 911 turbo videos and it's really amazing the difference of quality. And this is more expensive. It does look flashier.
for sure, it feels futuristic and minimalistic which don’t mix very well imo
Completely agree. I think that's the only that lack on McLarens
That door squeak 🥴
This my true dream daily drive-able mclaren
Turn on to the on ramp was super smooth really put the handling in perspective for me , great review
Toyota Venza is the true super car
Whaaaaaaaaa
@@ethanf2351 hi how are you
That creaking and mechanical whine is honestly unbearable for a six figure super car.
Yeah I tried to block that out, but you can’t when this thing costs a house
Honestly unbearable for anything more than $50,000 really.
what a treat, was not expecting this!
That color is stunning 🤩
2:06 that paint job, lighting, angle 😲
unfortunately all small Car manufactors have problems to put a good and modern Infotainment system in their cars, good review thanks.
Never has GT been such a relative term lol
Nice vid man
4:12 Not the sound $200,000 should be making 😂
It sounds like that every single time he opens or closes the door lol.
They couldn't even find anything better for a press car.
It’s probably the window it moves slightly up or down depending on whether you are closing or opening the door but yes still a rather annoying sound.
I could hear creaking or something from the left ear the whole drive and that high pitched noise a few times.
It’s probably because of the cold weather
Poor interior and buld quality. But the performance is quite amazing. It have some reliability issues tho
That color is something special.
Yoo thanks for your useful review bro♡♡♡
Oh my god!! Dream car status
Love that color.
This is the car in covet most. This car is simply stunning.
Didn't expect this. Honestly I forgot about this car, with all the Speedtail and 765LT stuff going around.
Don’t stand to close to me
If a car has stop-start, I'd love to see a demo. At what point does it shut itself off (0 mph or while you're still moving), does it turn back on when shifted to park, how fast is the restart, etc.
The spec on this is nice. I think the icing on the cake would be orange brake calipers
this color is INSANE
Living the dresm
I been waiting on this og
I’m well aware I can’t afford this car right now but I’m disappointed in the interior this is definitely a downgrade from the interior of my 2018 Honda Accord
That dual clutch is really ruff
I love the color of the car.
It is practical for a supercar
Can’t wait to see your s2000 ;-)
hope you will review 600lt soon🙏🙏
I always like your shoes.
PLEASE, I want to see you put some skis in it, make it happen!
Who else just binge watches his videos?
Seeing those speaker cones through the grill really distracts me. Once I saw it I cannot unsee 😂
Thanks ...now I cant stop
A MR Aston, if you will. I like it
The color on this is the best color for super cars
thing has more squeaks and rattles than my wrx
Nice
Does a 2020 shelby GT500 feel as fast as this car?
3:42 The first time I've gotten an idea of what this guy looks like after 1000 videos
Could you do a video on the new Audi S3?
Can the next video be about the 2023 Chevrolet Corvette C8 Z06?
11:44 guy with his hand on the window as they pass... staring at his love from behind protective glass during visitation hours
Not the car for me, but I love the steering wheel
Am I the only one that thinks that the mclaren chimes sound really scary??? It sounds like a suspense sound effect in movies
No you're not alone
The storage inside the door doesn’t look like a good idea…. An epic car though.
That interior looks like mini Cooper's designer woke up trying to be square in stead of circle
So the back hatch is covered with floor mats?
The problem with Mclarens is they always seem to have faulty build quality despite amazing performance.
I noticed the window squeaking when it rolled downed while opening the door. That would drive me crazy.
Sounds like there is quite a lot of road noise coming through to the inside of the car
Interior is very … eh. Love these cars though. I’ve seen a couple on my Type R. I’ll let you imagine how those “races” went.
I’m sorry but that interior doesn’t look like it’s suited for a $200k car
How do you get all these cars I want to start a channel doing this
I know you said the car was green and in person it probably looks different but on video that car looks opalescent blue lol
The silver lining of being unable to avoid this vehicle is that I won't be able to kill myself in it. What an amazing exhaust note and turbo sound- the interior looks super clean too.
The window slightly rolls down and rolls up before opening and closing the door.
I want to see a savagegeese video on this
Love the car! British cars usually handle very well but not that great with reliability.
More of a new 570GT than detuned 720s. Same interior and suspension layout of the Sport series 570S/GTMcLarens, not the Super series 720s.
Sorry for asking dumb question but can you rev more
For me, the 570GT is the peak :) A lovely looking sporty GT
that chime reminds me of an old macbook
How do you like Mclarens?
wow
Ngl that sunroof’s adjustable brightness had me scratching my head
That tech was available ages ago, it was used on Mercedes SL and Ferrari Superamerica (575)
@@vitalykutuzov3331 was waiting for this comment
ah yes finally a review of an affordable sports car for the working class
Ah yes, an affordable car for the working class
I know this is sarcasm, but we have an affordable sports car for the working class: The Corvette. And its pretty damn good too.
Was that interior creaking that I kept hearing in my left ear the whole time? It's a beautiful car and sounds amazing but I'd be worried about it being at the dealer more than my garage.
It was definitely more prominent when he opened the frunk, I think it’s some sort of electrical static
Officer:" Do you know why I pulled you over?"
Me:" Imma guessing it's to take me to jail and revoke my license."
personally for me a car without multifunctional steering wheel is frustrating.
I take it back , that interior, well... if Subaru and Miata had a budget honey moon, and did the pull out method
I wonder what the general experience with McLarens are, jayemm's ruined dealership experience kinda took them off the pedestal for me
You get to know your dealership because you'll be stopping by every other week.
So u just left it in the parking lot?
I would totally daily drive this if there wasn’t a fault appearing every time you drive it and the infotainment screen being buggy
Is that a Speedmaster?
Is it AWD or RWD?
I would say almost Aston Martin racing Green ?
Would you take this, or the Porsche 911 Turbo S you had recently as a daily sporty/GT car?
Not that I’m wealthy enough for either (yet), but a man can dream
How come the test model does not have the standard "return to Mclaren Service Center" Message displayed. Mine was always on, and it was free of charge. So when I complained and asked for it removed, they said, "but it's standard". So, I just got used to it. I also met sooo many people because of the car. Shame there was no diversity...they all were tow-truck drivers.
Honestly not sure if u are joking or not
@@starsaber2002 I am joking a bit, but about real problems. I had to turn my Mclaren ownership into something positive, so I tried to find a way of finding humor in the problems these cars have. For example, I met a lot of cool people at the dealership waiting for our cars to be fixed. Every repair took 2-3 months and the problems were never fixed, so we had a social-club of sorts...and the dealer serves espresso, so that was good.
It’s crazy to me that he hit 70+ mph in first gear 😂
Auto start stop in a car like that is an insult.
Is it just me, or does it sound super rattly in there?
where is engene?
In the back covered up
Does anyone else feel this and the C8 kinda look similar?
Yea in the front at least
look a british c8
Can you drive the Model S Plaid?
Beautiful car. Loose the fancy roof and carbon ceramics to maybe get it under $200K.
Would be hard to hide a body in that ‘trunk’, LOL.
The interior would still look modern in time if it were CarPlay and AA compatible.
does the legend respond
Nope
@@chriss6356 but a different topher did apparently 🤣
@@vsrap71 :| im not nearly as great as the real one though
all of mc laern is ferari sond
McLaren never fails to dissapoint me.. until it comes to interiors :(
Eehh i’ll stick with a 911 turbo s anyday of the week instead of this
not trying to sound like a douche or anything but it looks to me as if the hellcat torque converter shifts and responds faster than this dct XD
aha
To have money like that would make life boring… just sayin
2nd :D
