I have a black number 100. At thé moment it houses 4 ongoing sock projects. I just ordered thé crossbody bag in smoked wood for my sweater projects. It's easier to take with me. Love Gus by thé way.🥰🐈
A good way for me to start today . Yesterday,because of my own dopey mistake I had to take out about 5 inches of a drop shoulder with short rows. Got that side knitted and then proceeded to make the same mistake on the left side!!! I have no excuse so, after I watch the box opening and see the goods , I can redo that side with a clear head. I use my kislux as a work bag and have had no issues at all. Itâs a comfortable bag, fits a good amount and hadnât lost its shape. With that being said, I also take care of all my bags and donât carry a water bottle, pens, keys or anything that can damage the interio.
A lovely way to start my morning: coffee and knitting with a gentle podcast while sitting on my front porch. The bags are beautiful (though my first thought was also “lunchbox😂), and I was surprised how much fits into them! I can completely understand how an exquisite hand-crafted item like that would level up your knitting experience! Until now, I have only used canvas bags or even up cycled pillow cases for my project bags, simply for economical reasons. The “Gus” pillow is adorable… though with the intro I thought it was going to be a pillow FOR Gus. But I’m sure you will share. 😊 happy knitting to you in these scorching hot days!
I have a Project 10 in black. If you leave an iPad next to the middle pocket it can easily fit in the bag, when it closes. I love mine, I use it every day.
I’ve seen people stick stickers in journals or junk journals. Then they note down the story of the sticker. So yours could be detailing the project bag arrival date and first impressions upon unboxing. I’ve seen others attach stickers to knittng project notes/instructions. Just some thoughts, love the bags.
It’s nice to have some luxurious items to use while knitting. The quality looks great but whether it’s enjoyable to use will only be determined after you try it out. The vest is beautiful!
it's difficult to say which project bag I prefer. I love the ones I make for my business Mitaine Croquée Bitten Mitten but I really love all the Dolphine Collective bags. They are so well made and she have funky fabrics!
I love the design of the bags, they both are beautiful!! My thinking on the canvas bags that came with them is, they are for carrying the project bag along with a bottle of water and a snack 😂. I put my project I’m working on in those little plastic zippered bags that bed sheets come in, if I take my project with me out of the house I just throw the whole thing in a bigger bag with straps along with a snack, a bottle of water, my reading glasses and anything else I think I might need for that particular excursion. Hello Mark, the bags are very nice, I agree with you, you need a project bag, especially when you have a few projects on the go. I should really invest in some nice project bags for when I go out especially in the province I live in. We don't have harsh winter but it rains a lot. Our weather just like Seattle's weather. I do have a couple of clear bags, which they have cute handles that's what I have been using lately. By the way I really enjoyed the video you did with your Mom. She is a lovely lady. 😽😽
The bags are beautiful high quality leather, real treasures to own, look at and admire. (I can smell the leather, nostalgic for me actually - another story.) A quality bag gives quality to your knitting project. I would probably keep the leather bag at home to use. Using an attractive bag or container for your knitting project shows that you value it. I thought your ginger cat might try to crawl into the bag when it was open on the desk. Don’t cats like to squeeze themselves into any new space that presents itself? 😂

A RUclips podcaster mentioned the exact style bag two months that she bought at Aldi Supermarket. It was not leather, but a fabric type of construction. I immediately went to my local Aldi hoping to purchase one or two. In lieu my local Aldi was not a super big one, I think they might not be offered at my store. Sadly, it was not! I don’t know what is the name of the bag and hardly seen that style being offered for sale. Unfortunately, I don’t have the budget to purchase the S&P one, but how awesome that you are offering one as a 10k giveaway! That’s so generous! I love how you support handmade and good materials ❤ And I love the design of the bag. Allow me a practical thought. Danes are knitters. We learn from very young. We're also forced to be logic, because of crappy weather. So I would expect a project bag would have a protection, so the yarn and project is protected from the zipper. Could that be the point of the tote? So when you have a large project in the bag, you protect it, by putting it into the tote? And with smaller project you just drape it over it, before you close, to keep the yarn in place? I don't know 😂 I'm just thinking out loud here 😊

I'm more of a tote person, I have literally dozens, along with project bags. I don't travel enough for the more expensive one & I don't like my makes tightly packed. Honestly it doesn't matter the cost of the bag if you truly love it! Have you seen the new version of the bag with the large strap?? I think I need a new pillow!! 😹😹😹

The first one seems like a good storage option for your knit work if you are living in a small space and don't have much room for a dedicated knitting space. You can pack your knit work up and put it on a shelf and just grap when you want to knit and have it all in front of you like a all-in-one mobile knitting station. It's very much in tune with the Scandinavian minimalist home decor style that is so hyped at the moment. I'm a Dane myself but never seen these before, they are gorgeous. I love your cats joining in, they might be interupting you but it is just cat language for love. The more interupts the more love. I have given in and set up a nice fluffy cat basket on my desk for my cat. He is snoozing in there all day now as I work and I now have my keyboard free of cat hair again😂

I love these bags! I've asked Santa for one! I have a travel makeup bag that is the same style ( I forgot I had it!) Im using it to keep my sock knitting projects in, it's a small bag but boy does it hold a lot! I'm not much of a traveler but I will be flying out to see my son for Thanksgiving and will see if this type of bag will be good to take along.

Those are T.A.R.D.I.S. bags! Bigger on the inside than out. The small pockets might be good for smaller colorwork balls. Yes, they are expensive, but wowza. Beautiful to see, gorgeous workmanship and super handy. Yes, I'd prefer a long strap too - to the point that I'd probably go to a shoe repair store to have one made and added.
That's what I was thinking. I'll take it to a friend who works with leather and can make a nice strap for me. When I get this bag as it is currently way out of my budget. :)

Mark, I love those cleverly designed leather project bags. They appear to be a great way to carry a fairly large project and all its accoutrements in a compact way. A lot of nice leather handbags come with a cloth dust cover. If you didn’t need the accompanying tote bag for anything else, it would make a nice cover for the leather bag when not in use. The plushie cat body pillow is also a fun item. Enjoy!

I actually don’t have a “project bag”, even though i take my projects with me whenever i leave the house. I use a small basket and make sure it doesn’t tip over which has worked very well. I’m kind of impatient and like to grab my scissors, tape measure, etc. quickly. You, on the other hand, seem very relaxed and methodical and i love that about you. Your videos are peaceful and enjoyable. 😊

Oh Mark. Every time I watch your bag videos I end up purchasing one. I love that this bag folds open and will hold my yarn like a yarn bowl when I knit on a plane. I bought the walnut one. The first one seems like a good storage option for your knit work if you are living in a small space and don't have much room for a dedicated knitting space. You can pack your knit work up and put it on a shelf and just grap when you want to knit and have it all in front of you like a all-in-one mobile knitting station. It's very much in tune with the Scandinavian minimalist home decor style that is so hyped at the moment. I'm a Dane myself but never seen these before, they are gorgeous.
I love your cats joining in, they might be interupting you but it is just cat language for love. The more interupts the more love. I have given in and set up a nice fluffy cat basket on my desk for my cat. He is snoozing in there all day now as I work and I now have my keyboard free of cat hair again😂

I love these bags! I've asked Santa for one! I have a travel makeup bag that is the same style ( I forgot I had it!) Im using it to keep my sock knitting projects in, it's a small bag but boy does it hold a lot! I'm not much of a traveler but I will be flying out to see my son for Thanksgiving and will see if this type of bag will be good to take along.

Those are T.A.R.D.I.S. bags! Bigger on the inside than out. The small pockets might be good for smaller colorwork balls. Yes, they are expensive, but wowza. Beautiful to see, gorgeous workmanship and super handy. Yes, I'd prefer a long strap too - to the point that I'd probably go to a shoe repair store to have one made and added.
That's what I was thinking. I'll take it to a friend who works with leather and can make a nice strap for me. When I get this bag as it is currently way out of my budget. :)

I'll sit and cuddle my own kitties and knit/crochet while we all watch! Mark, I love those cleverly designed leather project bags. They appear to be a great way to carry a fairly large project and all its accoutrements in a compact way. A lot of nice leather handbags come with a cloth dust cover. If you didn’t need the accompanying tote bag for anything else, it would make a nice cover for the leather bag when not in use. The plushie cat body pillow is also a fun item. Enjoy!
I’m so excited to see you open these bags!! I have been considering getting one because the design and function really appeal to me, but I’d never seen one up close. Both colors are beautiful and I think you’re going to love whichever you choose! ❤ oh, and the first thing I thought of for the elastic pouches was a tape measure, I’d also probably store barber cord in the other. While watching today, I’m working on my Alpine Bloom Tee to wear to Flock Fiber Festival in August. 😊

I actually don’t have a “project bag”, even though i take my projects with me whenever i leave the house. I use a small basket and make sure it doesn’t tip over which has worked very well. I’m kind of impatient and like to grab my scissors, tape measure, etc. quickly. You, on the other hand, seem very relaxed and methodical and i love that about you. Your videos are peaceful and enjoyable. 😊

Oh Mark. Every time I watch your bag videos I end up purchasing one. I love that this bag folds open and will hold my yarn like a yarn bowl when I knit on a plane. I bought the walnut one. It is supposed to ship in August. Very excited. I loved watching your cats. My golden retriever Riley likes watching Gus the best.
