RE: slotted upper arm holes... that car might be slightly bent. Someone may have opened up the holes like that to allow it to align right. My 67 mustang always had alignment issues, and kept blowing a rear shock. Took it to a body shop, and had it pulled straight. It was 1/2" low at the driver's side front and passenger side rear. Suspect car was ran off the road, and ramped up a hill, and bend the chassis. Might be worth taking that one to a shop and get it checked out on a frame machine.
Nice Project, looks to be going well. Keep up the good work and post some more vids when you get the chance, really love to see these old muscle cars getting a new life.
When I took my wheel aprons to bare metal, I used a paint stripper and wire wheel, then I sprayed with Eastwood rubberized rust encapsulater rated at 250 degrees. I also sprayed the inner fender separate to deaden wind sound, when going 65 on a highway. I hope I did the right thing!
Hope your a very good mechanic because you just take everything apart without marking things. Have a plan on keeping it stock or custom. What books and or reference guides are you using? Or do you have much Previous experience on this particular Model. lt looks like you can just rely on your sharp mechanical memory!
thanks a lot for your video it was very helpful.. i know some about engines but i recently started a project and i just got stock with the chasis
Ouch! Use a ball joint fork tool to separate instead of a hammer. Like the satin black on the compartment! :) Great video.

Great job! This is helping me with my '68 Torino GT resto.
How much was the kit and lines all together?
