    Artisticly speaking,your color choices are wonderfulllll!,....There's nothing wrong with brightening up the property.The colors DO NOT affect the "TORTS" either way BUT the terrain changes/additions are CRITICAL to any life-forms well being.So,so very cool and ANOTHER intelligent,interesting,educational,instructional "VID".Thank YOU sir.

    This was so cool! I live in Central Florida, and have a little family of four gopher tortoises in my back yard. The mom and dad have been here for over 30 years! I know by law I'm not supposed to touch them, but is there anything like this that I could add to my backyard for them to play on and enjoy?

    Hi, I am not sure if you are replying to comments, but I love your tortoise pond. I have been looking at making one for my own tortoise. We are in England and mine is an approximate 60 year old thur spied tortoise so not giant like your amazing ones. I also only have a small ish garden - which my two bunnies also live in, plus my children. I had planned to make a pond that the bottom part could hold fish and the top half allow for the tortoise, but I just can't think how to make it properly in a small space - would you have any suggestions please? I was thinking of placing a wire (coated) net and rocks over the base, but I am worried he might slip and drown if I don't get it right. any help would be greatly received. Thanks, Carrie

      +Matthew Sansone, based on the size of that thing, and the fact that it does not hold more than 9 inches of water (which Kenan mentioned in an earlier post), you could clean it out every couple of days with a shop vac.

    • @carystallings6068
      @carystallings6068 8 лет назад +1

      +SkeleBun Bun Red Ears are like Billy goats very tough water turtles, will eat anything. If they're small, Put them in an aquarium with something for them to climb up on, must have a water heater set at around 80 ( double check that number ) and a light that gives them UVB ( I believe ) to simulate sun light , which they need to stay healthy. Feed them the turtle pellets from the pet store.I also like to ad minnows from the creek to snack on. and you also will need an aquarium filter, or the tank will get smelly in a few days and become a very unhealthy environment .
