The Orbital Nightcloak is a really interesting idea. Whereas all the other superweapons focus on instant apocalyptic destruction, the Nightcloak renders a slow and painful death for all inhabitants.
I'm still thinking about how it would've been if Imperial Stormtroopers would have fired the big laser beam from Starkiller Base.. just imagine, the four lasers would miss all the planets and "fly" through the galaxy so long until they hit some random planets xD
Raiden 1018 Wow, someone understood it, I didn't know how to say the "fly through space" thing, because I still have so much to learn, I'm german, fourteen :D
Death Star II also had advanced targeting systems that allowed it to target the Rebel Alliance's Mon Cal cruisers and other command-class ships, which was an improvement of its predecessor. The Starkiller beam is already made up of light, so saying that it goes at light speed is a little redundant. There is still no explanation how a beam of light can travel from one end of the galaxy to another within a few minutes unless they could open a portal at the Starkiller Base and another at a targeted system. Something like the Infinity Gun. It seems that the rest of the super weapons depend upon or use some form of science when they either prepare or use the weapon, and I have no problems with that as they can be relatively explained and understood.
+Grand Admiral Thrawn I also think it is very unrealistic that lightspeed can travel to other system in the galaxy within seconds/minutes. So just avoid the word lightspeed and say hyperspace/hyperdrive instead :D
Vrox_ And yet it's visible when it's traveling as was seen on Maz's Castle. Starships and the pergill can't be seen when they travel through hypserspace. ***** True enough. Lightspeed is the slang term for traveling through hyperspace when in actuality a spacecraft can travel through hundreds and even thousands of times faster than light.
Well actually, Hyperspace is near lightspeed, but contained in it's own "Dimension" that dilates time, and through the use of assists on board a ship can make the ship shrink the distance between destinations without ship particle collapse (The Falcon), and the class of the hyperdrive determines how close to light speed a ship can go before catastrophic failure resulting in many disasters that can happen from the hyperspace "tunnel" collapsing on the ship, being trapped for thousands of years in slow motion while for anybody outside of the "tunnel" is experiencing real time, etc. So if you experience a day on say, a Venator in hyperspace, it is a full day outside of hyperspace too, but without time dilation assists on the ship, a full day on the ship that you do not notice is in slow motion, is really the amount of time it would take raw light without hyperspace to travel to the destinations, one day on the ship could be hundreds or thousands of years. In all logic, the simplest way of explaining Hyperspace, is traveling through time it's self, almost like Doctor Who.
Didn`t the Star Killer Base-Laser `'fly' with Overlightspeed?!? I mean, imagine you fire on a starsystem and say "So, in 2 or 3 years will the laser reach the planets" ;-)
Actually the two most earthlike planets we know are 490 and 1400 ly away, so you would probably have to calculate with a few hundred to thousand years before hitting anything remotely important! :D
Exactly :) It must je something like hyperdrived projectile, buď se see it is just a light beam, so the beam must be somehow accelerated to overlight speed, but as it enter target solar system, it must slow down to underlight speed so you can enjoy that majestic view to beam, what is just going to kill you as se seen in movie. It is verry sofisticated. :D
+Štěpán Hájek Wow now the whole thing actually makes sense! Seeing as Starkiller Base consumes "the energy of a star" it is likely that it actually doesn't fire a laser, but a giant beam of the stars plasma, which is of course highly magnetic. Seeing as the beam can split and change direction it could be guided by magnetic and plasma hardened missiles which fly inside the beam! (Such heat immune material exists in SW legends: "Sun Crusher".) Those Missiles could also do the hyperspace jump. ... Or you look on Jedipedia and read some nonesense about Dark Energy transformed to Phantom Energy, which tears a hole through Hyperspace or something...
Legends is weird. If the Empire had the tech to create multiple planet-destroyers ... Why didn't they use them? Make a bunch of Conquerers and you're set. The insane amount of superweapons makes the Empire seem ineffective and inefficient.
because planet destroyers were mostly fear weapons like nuclear bombs. use it once or twice and hope you don't have to again. after all destroying a planets destroys a vast amount of resources. there was also the theory that Palatine was prepping these weapons for the invasion that was to come. in legends a massive alien invasion force came and killed billions with so many super weapons the galaxy could have withstood easier. just my thoughts cant say its 100 percent right.
"This weapon was the most powerful weapon that could destroy a planet! It was destroyed. THIS WEAPON could destroy STARS!!! got destroyed. OMFG THIS WEAPON THAT DESTROYED STARS AND PLANETS could destroy EVERYTHING, nothing could destroy it!!!!! It was destroyed in the Maw." ROFL
Are the stories fun to read/watch/play? Did they sell copies of merchandise? Are they consistent with their own Legends canon? Then no, they aren't worthless.
PROZIQ SEVEN You *literally* called them worthless stories. And the backpedaling you've been doing since then to try and reframe things in a more positive light has been entirely unconvincing.
that's kinda lame ... there 25 weapons which are all the same ... all of them are destroying planets or the full Galaxy . The only difference is the sice / Design .
And why the hell should someone destroy a while Planet if he just can conquer it ? When conquering a Planet you can Mine Resources easily, also the Population is still alive ( can be used for recruitment). Destroying a Planet is a waste of Resources and lives
YEah but if your talking about the Star Forge then... LEts go blow up that planet over there and collect its resource with TRILLIONS of drones to build TRILLIONS more.
The only weapon that was original, different, and interesting was the World Devastator with their molecular furnaces. I mean, seeing those descend from the sky and start eating cities would be horrifying.
no the Sith Temple weapon never existed in the True Cannon (EU) there was a sith temple but it was under the surface of the planet and it was called the Trea Academy the only thing that is the "Scourge of Malacore" is the Mass Shadow Generator. Of course that is only if you count the EU if you count the crap that Disney has been churning out you need to stop watching anything but Rebels and Episode VII as far as Star Wars is concerned because you are no longer worthy to watch the rest of it.
well the thing is I am a true fan which I have found that Star Wars is sadly lacking and true fans don't care what Disney has said, And since Disney made the Sith Temple on Malacore up it doesn't exist to true fans
Daniel Letner well all of the stuff in Legends or "True Canon" was getting too large and conveluted that's not to say I don't enjoy the story's some of them are really cool but I think Disney made a good decision to make Legends and Canon
here's what we can do then let's agree to disagree because I am tired of debating with traitors who like what Disney did just because it got rid of a little let's call it "fat" on the Star Wars story but remember this every good piece of steak has at least a little fat on it. But lets just agree to disagree on this fact.
Star killer. Luke's original last time, darth Vader's apprentice, the big new super weapon, and that mandalorian from KOTOR. goodness they just keep using that name
MrTohawk Fanboys love to think their precious EU was 100% perfect. It clearly wasn't, and that is so damn funny. The new canon isn't 100% percent t either.
Glad you remembered the sun crusher. It was an epic moment in the book dark apprentice when kyp I think, flew it right through a star destroyer to destroy it. Yeah, it was hidden in the maw with the Death Star prototype where the empire though the war was still on
Nope, that's JJ Abrams and Disney with their pc bullshit. Jar Jar Bings actual became quite cool, if Lucas wouldn't had removed him do to the pressure of the public. He was one of Palpatines agents, if not even a Sith.
Can you do a video on the Hammerhead-class cruiser used by the old Republic? If there's not enough material to make a video on that, maybe you could make a video on all the ships in the Old Republic's navy?
Wrong Ship - Rebels have Hammerhead Corvettes. Hammerhead Cruisers are the original, far larger, had a different engine pack, and were the inspiration for the Hammerhead Corvettes.
Oh I have to agree. And apparently it was built with 'funds secretly diverted from the death star'. So it cost such a small fraction of the cost of the Death Star no one noticed?!
You missed out Naga Sadow's ship that could pull the core out of a sun. This weapon extiguished all life on numerous planets including the old Jedi stronghold Ossus.
The Dark Reaper... I remember facing it in my PS2 Clone Wars game... Something sad about hearing the screams of your clone trooper allies as they die by it, shortly into the battle...
+Drake AF Yeah. The Empire cared very much about their Eclipse superweapon btw. First it got stolen by pirates (who after downlading locations of imperial money cashes, abandoned ship somewhere in space). Later the emperor himself destroyed it by accident, using totaly overpowered force storm.
You keep saying things travel at or near the speed of light but that honestly isn't that fast on a cosmic scale. Even our closest neighboring star is over 3 years away and it is basically face hugging us in relation to the rest of the galaxy. The Milky Way is estimated to be about 100k light years across. I guess those weapons would be a threat eventually but it would almost be like attacking a country by letting snails carry your bombs there. I understand that the weapons were powerful but unless they were used in close proximity then it wouldn't exactly be a practical way to attack someone. Especially when people have faster than light travel. They would just go somewhere else and be like "well, dodged that bullet. good thing it's so slow."
Dr Pancake Face Gaming I understand the knee-jerk "But wait..." however you are forgetting one crucial thing, on the Star Wars universe, Faster Than Light travel is achieved by travelling through Hyperspace. Furthermore, the relative speed at which you move through Hyperspace affects your Distance over-time. So travelling at THE SPEED OF LIGHT, while moving through dimension that allows you to travel several light years while moving through it at the pace of a brisk walk...Let's just say the only reason they haven't gone Extra-Galactic is because of the enormous Hyperspace Anomaly present just outside the Galaxy.
2:54 - You got that wrong, pal. It's not the Star Forge that's similar to to Starkiller Base, it's Starkiller Base that's a rip-off the Star Forge mixed with the Death Star and Sun Crusher.
here we go I didn't know about the Sun Crusher but I did know about Star Forge + Death Star + Name of Darth Vader's Apprentice and apparently + Sun Crusher
no he is wrong unless the Rakata came forward in time and saw Starkiller Station and said "using the corona of a sun is a great idea to get the power we need.", then Starkiller Station is definitely based on the Star Forge in that respect
@@revanreborn2548 Well, I know I'm late, but the name Starkiller has a common origin, but it doesn't refer to Starkiller from the The Force Unleashed. Instead, both names are a reference to Luke's original name, Starkiller, before it was changed to Skywalker.

0:45 I don’t know why everyone forgets about this but that’s the Mass Shadow Generator, that Revan and the Exile came upon. Revan is canon. Also Starkiller Base is Ilum
I actually dont have a problem with starkiller base. Come on the ñame of the franchise basically says there are wars in between stars, having superweapons with capabilities to destroy planets and stars is a must and Will happen repeatedly.
Jesus Rendon Then its just as flawed as some of these legends stories. There has to be more originality, not just lazy rehashing and calling it something else when its pretty much the same exact thing that was done 30 years ago.
5:12 Humans on Earth: Nuclear fission can generate a LOT of energy! It can be destructive too! Shawken Device: We do that too, just with planets instead of atoms. How’s that for destructive? Me: This isn’t the Star Wars galaxy, right?
Their is also other Starwars Legends Super weapons that you forgot to mention. Like the Eye of Palptine,( The Astroid) , Theirs also the Eclipse I Super Star destoyer, The Ecplise II Super Star Destoyer , The Gravestone/Eternal Fleet Super Weapon
Darksaber is the name of the plan said by jyn erso just before she finds stardust. People have been referencing the black lightsaber from cannon but it is called the Black Saber. I know its legends material but it seems like it might connect.
I thought the Tarkin was just a big ion canon. I'd argue that Eclipse-class super star destroyers from Legends count. Even discounting their superlasers, their conventional weapons could easily make everything on a planet dead or wishing it were.
I know it wasn’t a planet destroyer, but the Thought Bomb did wipe out nearly all of the Sith. I don’t know if it really deserves a spot as a superweapon, but it was definitely major.
6 лет назад
I've seen this 5 times and it just keeps getting better.
legends is simply the old cannon before disney bought lucasfilm. the expanded universe refers to anything not in the star wars movies. like the old republic, clone wars etc..
Wrong, the Eclipse was a Star Destroyer mixed with the Death Star. If other super Star Destroyers can make it here, the Eclipse definitely should be able to.
Actually the Trigon One which appeared in the TV series Droids was built by the criminal group called the Fomm Gang. It was stolen from the base it was built before it could be launched by small group of Rebels that included R2 and C-3PO. The Fomm Gang would later retrieve the Trigon One, but while on approach to their main base of operation. The Trigon had been sabotaged to crash and destroy The Fomm Gang's main hide-out, crippling their hold over the system they controlled.
Star killer base is actually built on the planet Ilum where Jedi younglings do their rite of passage to get their kyber crystals for their lightsabers. It has a kyber core and that’s why it’s so powerful
Actually, the Emperor had fa force vision about an alien race that would soon invade the galaxy in planet sized ships. The Yuuzhan Vong later invaded using those ships. (that is just for the death stars though, not the other weapons)
And a few trillion dollars, a galaxy wide Empire worth of resources and slave labor, and enough insulation from all of the spy networks to keep it a secret.
Ya, I think Disney/Lucasarts tried to create something that is cool for 12 year old kids, the whole idea is dumb: "hmm we need something cool, erhh a super big deathstar who can not destroy one planet at a time but 4 or more. And can be destroyed by like 10 little bombs and x-wing laser beams, of course(which didnt even hit anywhere near the core).^^
New canon superweapon revealed: The Xyston-class Star Destroyer. It's just a lazy rebuild of an Imperial-class Star Destroyer with a superlaser on it. The superlaser was its major weakpoint, and took all of the energy on the ship to fire. However, it was capable of destroying planets. Everyone hates it due to its lazy design.
The Darksaber was mentioned in Rogue One when Jyn Erso and Kassian Andor were reading out the list of names of the secret operations the Empire had. Does that mean it is real? Or canon, atleast
Brandon i believe so not 100% sure but with the amount of force energy they hold I think they can be considered the force made manifest (once again this is pure speculation)
Brandon not always the case, one strong counter is the basis crystal. Which can accomplish what a pyramid sized Khyber crystal did but fitted easily in a lightsaber. Just watch star wars the ninth assassin.
Kyber crystals are the power source of a lightsaber that makes its color they are not used for the lasers weapons like the turbo lasers and e11 blasters.
Starkiller Base wasn’t an ice planet. It was carved into the planet, Ilum. It was as planed made of kyber crystals which is where the Jedi found most of them for their lightsabers.
5:00 qnd thats why the old expanded universe sucked, it tryed to hard to be cool and out done the films, the death stars were supposed to be the ulltimate power in the galaxy ever, that's why its so threatning, but since making new challenges in a not one-up mode requires clever writing its not seen often. Man Star wars did needed the old EU errased
...No one, at any point, ever said they were the ultimate power in the entire HISTORY of the galaxy...There was plenty of room for other superweapons that could arguably have been even more powerful. Where the hell does your logic come from?
Dude, did you even watch A New Hope? That imperial officer specifically stated and I quote ' This station is now THE ULTIMATE POWER IN THE UNIVERSE, I suggest we use it.' Think before you comment man.
+Stormtrooper # 1138 That's only relevant to the present(in 0 BBY) That doesn't mean that there weren't other different types of superweapons in the past or won't be in the future.
Exactly the death star being the "ultimate power in the universe" and there being other superweapons over the years with varying degrees of power are not mutually exclusive.
Star Killer base is basically a shotgun version of the Death Star.

I'm still thinking about how it would've been if Imperial Stormtroopers would have fired the big laser beam from Starkiller Base.. just imagine, the four lasers would miss all the planets and "fly" through the galaxy so long until they hit some random planets xD
But they can't hit anything!
+Vrox_ that's the joke
Raiden 1018
Wow, someone understood it, I didn't know how to say the "fly through space" thing, because I still have so much to learn, I'm german, fourteen :D
But would it bee nearly impossible if not impossible for the lasers to hit absolutely anything at all in the entire universe?
Could you do video with Every Kind of Star destroyers as well?
yeo
yeah more explanation 😃pls
He should inclued the imperium class ultra star destroyer!
Easy. Star Destroyer. Super Star Destroyer. Venator Class Star Destroyer. I think that's it.
Nope.
You are alive admiral!
They did say somewhere that they fire the beam for Starkiller through Hyperspace.
Am I the only one who loves the fact that the Star Wars universe is so well developed that legends go back hundreds of thousands of years?
It's amazing how Old The Star Wars Universe Is
JaxToons legends wise life in the galaxy started abot 5 billion BBY
Choco almost 50 years
42 years
Didn`t the Star Killer Base-Laser `'fly' with Overlightspeed?!?
I mean, imagine you fire on a starsystem and say "So, in 2 or 3 years will the laser reach the planets" ;-)
o no star killer base shot its laser we got only a few years to evacuate
Everything is possible in Star Wars :c
And the Infinity Gauntlet...oh wait, wrong universe..
Lmao
And the Reality bomb.... Oh wait wrong franchise as well....
+Luke Williams lmao 😂😂
and the Halo Rings..
Oops wrong franchise.
And the One Ring....
Eeeehhhhh, wrong universe
"Where gonna destroy a sun!!! We are so smart."
"Oh my god the stormtroopers are freezing WHO THOUGHT THIS WAS A GOOD IDEA EVERYONE GET INSIDE NOW!!!"
I suppose Starkiller base was supposed to be used like twice and then they would abandon it
Legends is weird. If the Empire had the tech to create multiple planet-destroyers ... Why didn't they use them? Make a bunch of Conquerers and you're set. The insane amount of superweapons makes the Empire seem ineffective and inefficient.
thank you some one has logic
Jared Johnson it's almost like it'd own government got too large to effectively do anything xD
supersmex Mhm lol
because planet destroyers were mostly fear weapons like nuclear bombs. use it once or twice and hope you don't have to again. after all destroying a planets destroys a vast amount of resources. there was also the theory that Palatine was prepping these weapons for the invasion that was to come. in legends a massive alien invasion force came and killed billions with so many super weapons the galaxy could have withstood easier. just my thoughts cant say its 100 percent right.
Jared Johnson they were preparing for the Vong invasion

Pretty much all of those weapons' destructions happend because of Imperial incompetence ;-;
Are the stories fun to read/watch/play? Did they sell copies of merchandise? Are they consistent with their own Legends canon? Then no, they aren't worthless.
Kindof like you're respecting the opinions of everyone who's a fan of the old EU? Sure thing.
PROZIQ SEVEN
You *literally* called them worthless stories. And the backpedaling you've been doing since then to try and reframe things in a more positive light has been entirely unconvincing.
PROZIQ SEVEN
Ugh, I'm getting far more worked up about this than I should be. Sorry for getting on your case, I'm being a jerk about it..
that's kinda lame ... there 25 weapons which are all the same ... all of them are destroying planets or the full Galaxy .
You mean system, not Galaxy
While I get what you mean, what would you rather have a super-weapon do?
The only weapon that was original, different, and interesting was the World Devastator with their molecular furnaces. I mean, seeing those descend from the sky and start eating cities would be horrifying.
So, is the Sith Temple on Malachor in canon supposed to be like the Mass Shadow Generator?
no the Sith Temple weapon never existed in the True Cannon (EU) there was a sith temple but it was under the surface of the planet and it was called the Trea Academy the only thing that is the "Scourge of Malacore" is the Mass Shadow Generator. Of course that is only if you count the EU if you count the crap that Disney has been churning out you need to stop watching anything but Rebels and Episode VII as far as Star Wars is concerned because you are no longer worthy to watch the rest of it.
Daniel Letner It is funny and sad that you think you are the gatekeeper of the true Star Wars.
well the thing is I am a true fan which I have found that Star Wars is sadly lacking and true fans don't care what Disney has said, And since Disney made the Sith Temple on Malacore up it doesn't exist to true fans
Yoda it's a cool name!
Yoda That’s exactly why they use it all the time. It’s a nod to the original draft of A New Hope. Besides, imagine if your name was Starkiller...
Last time?
Yoda is that bad master? It’s a cool name
Shouldn't you be saying it differently
Why'd you have to remind me of Chewie being crushed by a moon? :'(
And this is where legends gets stupid.
MrTohawk Fanboys love to think their precious EU was 100% perfect. It clearly wasn't, and that is so damn funny. The new canon isn't 100% percent t either.
Old Republic Cannon (Old Sith Empire) was probably the best. After OBBY, then it gets stupid.
The EU was def not perfect, but it still was better than the new canon
>fucking awesome

Glad you remembered the sun crusher. It was an epic moment in the book dark apprentice when kyp I think, flew it right through a star destroyer to destroy it. Yeah, it was hidden in the maw with the Death Star prototype where the empire though the war was still on
i think jar jar binks is the biggest destroyer of the star wars universe saga :(
So true
Nope, that's JJ Abrams and Disney with their pc bullshit. Jar Jar Bings actual became quite cool, if Lucas wouldn't had removed him do to the pressure of the public. He was one of Palpatines agents, if not even a Sith.

Can you do a video on the Hammerhead-class cruiser used by the old Republic? If there's not enough material to make a video on that, maybe you could make a video on all the ships in the Old Republic's navy?
wasn't it in rebels now
Wrong Ship - Rebels have Hammerhead Corvettes. Hammerhead Cruisers are the original, far larger, had a different engine pack, and were the inspiration for the Hammerhead Corvettes.
God I'm glad the sun crusher is noncanon
why?
It is just too powerful considering the time period. This thing was being built before Death Star II. And it was put to use not long after the OT.
+HEHEHEHE I AM A SUPAHSTAR WARRIRA I thought it was freaking awesome. the crystalline armor alone...
Oh I have to agree. And apparently it was built with 'funds secretly diverted from the death star'.
So it cost such a small fraction of the cost of the Death Star no one noticed?!
you did say secretly diverted not openly diverted.
You missed out Naga Sadow's ship that could pull the core out of a sun. This weapon extiguished all life on numerous planets including the old Jedi stronghold Ossus.
I thought that was naga sadow himself, not his ship.
Jeb Watson
Nah, if you remember Naga Sadow was long dead when it was finally used to destroy Ossus by Exar Kuns brainwashed Jedi

The Dark Reaper...
I remember facing it in my PS2 Clone Wars game...
Something sad about hearing the screams of your clone trooper allies as they die by it, shortly into the battle...
in 2019 disney told us that starkiller was made on illum
Should have included Luke Skywalker(Legends) and Emperor Palpatine (also legends).
Emperor Palpatine was just a sith lord (very powerful, but still just a lord).
It were his clones, who were unnecesarly overpowered. Like Ray.
+Jakub Kurowski doesnt take away the fact that force storm is a thing tho.
+Drake AF
Yeah.
The Empire cared very much about their Eclipse superweapon btw.
First it got stolen by pirates (who after downlading locations of imperial money cashes, abandoned ship somewhere in space).
Later the emperor himself destroyed it by accident, using totaly overpowered force storm.
and valkorian
No lol.
The dark saber's mentioned in Rouge One
2:54 - You got that wrong, pal. It's not the Star Forge that's similar to to Starkiller Base, it's Starkiller Base that's a rip-off the Star Forge mixed with the Death Star and
Sun Crusher.

DeathΩMessenger No, he's not wrong just because he didn't say something that you feel should've been said.
no he is wrong unless the Rakata came forward in time and saw Starkiller Station and said "using the corona of a sun is a great idea to get the power we need.", then Starkiller Station is definitely based on the Star Forge in that respect
@@revanreborn2548 Well, I know I'm late, but the name Starkiller has a common origin, but it doesn't refer to Starkiller from the The Force Unleashed. Instead, both names are a reference to Luke's original name, Starkiller, before it was changed to Skywalker.

It's also a basically pointless weapon as basically no star systems have more than one inhabited planet
Love the Death star, especially this disco ball version.
I actually dont have a problem with starkiller base. Come on the ñame of the franchise basically says there are wars in between stars, having superweapons with capabilities to destroy planets and stars is a must and Will happen repeatedly.
Jesus Rendon
Then its just as flawed as some of these legends stories. There has to be more originality, not just lazy rehashing and calling it something else when its pretty much the same exact thing that was done 30 years ago.
Darksabre is canon again due to Rogue One, it is one of the projects they read when looking for the Death Star plans.
Toby Kirkby it said blacksaber not darksaber
@@TianoAnnunziata And, while it was likely a reference to the Darksaber, it certainly doesn't make it canon, yeah.

I loved watching these kind of Star Wars videos when I was a kid, thanks for the memories! ❤️
I like it, but I think it would be better if you enumerate them from the weakest to the strongest :)
Forgot high ground
Darksaber is the name of the plan said by jyn erso just before she finds stardust. People have been referencing the black lightsaber from cannon but it is called the Black Saber. I know its legends material but it seems like it might connect.
I always really liked the World Devastators and would really like to see one in a movie one day.
I thought the Tarkin was just a big ion canon. I'd argue that Eclipse-class super star destroyers from Legends count. Even discounting their superlasers, their conventional weapons could easily make everything on a planet dead or wishing it were.
Can you make a list of the most powerful handheld weapons
"Infinity waves"
"Suck entire worlds into infinity"
Sounds like something a franchiseman from LISA: the pointless would say
When you said "the dark saber" I thought of the black mandalorian light saber as it was called the dark saber.
I know it wasn’t a planet destroyer, but the Thought Bomb did wipe out nearly all of the Sith. I don’t know if it really deserves a spot as a superweapon, but it was definitely major.
I've seen this 5 times and it just keeps getting better.
so did hammer starbace fier a astroyed missing Its target and hitting earth killing the dinosours
I Chief Gaming ... star wars isn't real. None of these were ever built.
I Chief Gaming but it would be cool if it did
When you say "Legends" do you mean Extended Universe?
I believe it is anything that isn't released by Disney, or movies. It is pretty much what was true before episode 7
Cruze HoneyCut That wasn't my question tho.
legends is simply the old cannon before disney bought lucasfilm. the expanded universe refers to anything not in the star wars movies. like the old republic, clone wars etc..
Gino Guillermo expanded universe is Legends, officially now.
that don't matter I don't care what Disney says and no true Star Wars fan should
Wrong, the Eclipse was a Star Destroyer mixed with the Death Star.
The Infinity Gate is a StarGate Confirmed!
2:17 ya think the architect for this one was compensating for something?
I feel like centerpoint could be classified as cannon only due to the fact it was destroyed around the time of yavin
The Empire and The First Order: haha big big laser go brrrrr!!!
The Rebellion and The Resistance: haha plot armor go brrrr!!!
I love all of the ancient star wars lore of life and machines from 1000+ years before the battle of yavin.
The empire were desperate of destroying planets :D
Threat of planet destruction was how they tended to keep "order" in the systems they ruled.
Actually, the Emperor had fa force vision about an alien race that would soon invade the galaxy in planet sized ships. The Yuuzhan Vong later invaded using those ships. (that is just for the death stars though, not the other weapons)

can someone please tell me how the f*ck starkiller base even possible to build
You need a planet, some workers, some shovels and a big laser cannon :D
+LaFuq then death star is not a big thing.... neither that death star took 19 years to finish
And a few trillion dollars, a galaxy wide Empire worth of resources and slave labor, and enough insulation from all of the spy networks to keep it a secret.
* a few trillion credits
“Hey, I’ve seen this one before!”
Palpatine: “What do you mean you’ve seen it? It’s brand new!”
lol okay and?
Ther is also every single star destroyer in Rise Of Skywalker.
Bruh. Indeed. And only like 7of the 100s got destroyed and rest are just stuck for couple of days until fixing the beacon
The Darksaber was mentioned in Rogue One when Jyn Erso and Kassian Andor were reading out the list of names of the secret operations the Empire had. Does that mean it is real? Or canon, atleast

Are kyber crystals like the strongest power source in the Star Wars universe?
Brandon i believe so not 100% sure but with the amount of force energy they hold I think they can be considered the force made manifest (once again this is pure speculation)
Brandon not always the case, one strong counter is the basis crystal. Which can accomplish what a pyramid sized Khyber crystal did but fitted easily in a lightsaber. Just watch star wars the ninth assassin.
Yes
Kyber crystals are the power source of a lightsaber that makes its color they are not used for the lasers weapons like the turbo lasers and e11 blasters.
What if someone vnade a HUGE lightsaber with thrusters, that could just ignite then spin and chop up an entire planet
I like the Hammer Station. That's thinking so simple but effective. Take heavy thing, make it move fast towards that thing. Watch that thing go boom.
how are there even planets in starwars anymore lol 😂
My fav super weapons are the deathstar and Starkiller base
Maleviolence is my favourite ship even though it ain’t relevant
Starkiller Base wasn’t an ice planet. It was carved into the planet, Ilum. It was as planed made of kyber crystals which is where the Jedi found most of them for their lightsabers.
Ilum (a kyber crystal planet from Dave Filoni's Clone Wars) and Starkiller Base are the exact same thing
i kind of like that theres not a million super weapon in the new cannon
Oh, there will be.
Disney made some of them cannon in the Imperial handbook like the skforge and mass shaddow generator
Even worse then a ton of super weapons is the Death Star 3 oh wait, sorry, "starkiller base"
why? what is wrong with Starkiller base?
MR.Chickennuget 360 Nothing, other then Disney had NO imagination with episode 7 they basically copied the originals

qnd thats why the old expanded universe sucked, it tryed to hard to be cool and out done the films, the death stars were supposed to be the ulltimate power in the galaxy ever, that's why its so threatning, but since making new challenges in a not one-up mode requires clever writing its not seen often.
Man Star wars did needed the old EU errased
...No one, at any point, ever said they were the ultimate power in the entire HISTORY of the galaxy...There was plenty of room for other superweapons that could arguably have been even more powerful. Where the hell does your logic come from?
half sleep while I typed the comment above it doesn't make much sense.
