    Buju is very intelligent and smart, i would listen Buju all day , The man interview was profound and unique well spoken, before he say anything at all , he listen properly so he don't have to repeat his self, only on intelligent man really do that , We can all see that he was well thought while he was behind bar. He take that the opportunity to educate his self more. Even tho he was in Prison he didn't waste time . well done Buju.

Loved that Buju kept you honest, and was always quick to correct you if you got something wrong. Loved hearing those stories of his early days in Di Bizness. Buju Banton is so serious about The Music Business and his place in it. He's such a Purist for the Music and it's such a rarity. He truly is The Servant and Protector for Dancehall/Reggae Music. People always memba, the mango tree neva eat one a the mango dem yet. The mangos are for the people, and as such your gift is not for you. Walk good mi people. Buju the future and the growth of our music is in your hands. A more life mi family!!!!

    First watched the Onstage Interview and Mr. Winford did a hack job on that. He was ill prepared for it.
    Now, this interview with Seani B is a classic. The way Buju Banton was animated and smiling and getting to the roots and history of the music and digging out the anecdotes really says a lot about Seani B being a music man and talking music with Gargamel. Seani made it look so easy but he did a fabulous job. I guess his immersion in the music snd knowledge of it made this a musical conversation. This is not just a conversation between a tv presenter and a musician but of servants of the music paying homage to it. I love this interview.
    And massive love to Buju for not beating his chest like other guys do but still giving live and appreciation to those whose shoulders he stands on and keeping their names and glory alive in the limelight of the music. This interview goes beyond Buju But delves into the history of the music. This is a gem for connoisseurs of reggae and dancehall music.

    Wha gwan people. SEANI B checking in. Truly humbled by all the kind words and big ups. 👊🏿👊🏿❤❤
    It was just before me and my team got on to the Jamrock Cruise that we had a meeting with Buju's team in Miami to put our case forward to do this interview. It's been my biggest secret when I got the thumbs up call in the middle of January.
    Since that time I was in full research mode. I listened again to all the Buju albums. I watched whatever footage I could find online. I read many transcribed interviews too.
    So to see the response makes me know all that had work from myself and Ray Paul who produced the programmes has been noted.
    My aim is to bring balance of how this music is represented in the mainstream. Also to make sure the core audience is given quality programming.
    Fingers crossed WE are achieving that. I say we cos it is a team effort. You see my face but there is a family that rolls with me.
    BRUKOUT AND 1XTRA TO THE WORLD👊🏿👊🏿👊🏿👊🏿👊🏿

      Great work Seani B, you really did your homework and delivered on this one.
      You gave us the Buju we wanted to see in an interview.
      However, we're yet to see the live session, when is that one dropping?

      Seani, it was a magnificent interview. Your skill to have the Banton comfortable and to be himself was magical. You asked the right questions and you have questions set from his pass to present and the interview climax to what to come. I was surprised when you say BLESS. Curious, that must be a song on his upcoming album. Seani, you need to be acknowledge with an media musical award for such an impeccable interview. Walk Good One Love

    This is the most intelligent interview giving by by a great reggae artist. Winfread couldn't handle Buju Barton. He didn't know what to ask him. I believe BUJU love this interview more then Winfread you can see some of the time Buju was uncomfortably, Winfread was last for words with Sean B, he is more was relaxed. He is the one who is going bring back reggae to it farmer glory. Big BB. BE BELESS .

    • @ethereal8422
      @ethereal8422 4 года назад +2

      Robert P I think it has to do with the setting also. In this setting, it’s more relaxed, more informal and more so for a different audience. But where Winfred’s interview is concerned, it was more formal, restrictive and more so for a national audience because it’s aired on tv. However, I’d say that Seani B asked more introspective questions compared to Winfred. He helped Buju bring out what many want to know. Big up the both of them same way, and the one Gargamel, maximum respect. Trailblazer yuh call a man like dat.

      you are so correct. Winford was ill prepared and the BUJU I know is a ahead of the entire class, so when he is asked questions that are incoherent and baseless, he will get annoyed. In fact I am sure I heard him 'bulla' winford more than once. This interview is so good, taking us back and giving us a journey!!!

    • @ethereal8422
      @ethereal8422 4 года назад +1

      Stephanie Taylor Yes, when he’s asked certain questions, you can sense that he’s annoyed through his body language and even the way he responds. To me, it seems as though if the question doesn’t hold no weight or genuine significance to Buju, he won’t bare his soul by providing a passionate answer. And you’ve got to respect that.

      Why the comparison? Winford have interview Buju few times before where Buju addressed most of these questions tho that was a while ago. Onstage interview was good stop with the comparison and enjoy and respect people for what they do. Blessings!
