Hey Stan...great video as always...yea that is the dilema...I rode my 2008 300XC until 2 years ago and finally went to a 2020 500EXC. I have to say with the mods I made (and you have to do a lot) it is a total beast of a machine with amazing power and handling. Yes, it is more of a handful in the tight technical sections and there is no way to prevent that...but you can minimize it with proper setup. I do miss my 300 occasionally but I don't see myself ever going back. This 500 is the do it all machine with a plate to boot and I love it!
I always enjoy my 2013 KTM 500exc... it's been very reliable and well-mannered for all conditions. With regard to the Riders, when people find a passion they can do all kinds of good things😄
Yeah tough spot to be in there, 500 or the 300? I was in the same predicament not too long ago and decided just to keep both. The 300 is better/more fun in all the tight single track while the 500 IMO is better everywhere else, including desert, wide open, fire trails and on the road. If you were to pry one from my cold dead hands I would have to keep the 500 because it can do everything. Keep up the good footage.
Great mini review of the 500 exc👍
Really enjoyed the video! I’m debating on a 350 or 500. I have no experience on 2 strokes. I have a 890 for ADV riding so thinking the 350..
Both are great
