Hey Rob. I’m sitting here on my patio listening to the hum of my generator while my family sleeps. This is our second time in six weeks to be without power from these dang storms. We lucked out after Hurricane Laura. We just lost some shingles. Hurricane delta came through and did a little more damage. We got a little water in the house but we are going to be fine. Some lost so much more. It’s just rough sitting here In my thoughts with nowhere to go and nothing to do. Between COVID and hurricanes this has been one hell of a messed up year. But through it all your videos have kept me entertained and given me a break from the chaos. Especially the videos from the CMNI. I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for being who you are and doing what you do. I love you and your family. If you’re ever around Jennings Louisiana come on by. Robert, I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the videos you have put out for us. You and your family are God sent. I love the outdoors. I've been trying to get back out to fish and hunt but my body just want let me. I've had brain surgery, back surgery, and had a shunt put in my head. I've been fighting diabetes and taking care of my children. I am not looking for sympathy. I just a single father tried to do the best I can. But I just wanted to say that you and your family, blue Gabe and Kelly have been a blessing to me. God bless and I just can't thank you enough.

Been in Northern Norway this year when the Hering came into the Fjord and big Cod and Coalfish following them. Water was boiling along the coast as far as you can see. Things you will never forget, nature is so beautiful

Have you ever done a video on just cast netting with tips and tricks? Would love to see one where you break down the different techniques you use such as doing the full spin vs the back cast.

As someone that fishes often, the reason Rob is leaving the hooks is in to give the fish the best chance at survival. When a fish is “gut hooked” you cannot reasonably remove the hook without damaging vital organs or causing a large loss of blood. Although leaving the hook in seems inhumane, I can promise from personal experience it is the best route to take!

The mullet run is my favorite Holliday of the year! If I was with you I would be fishing the bridges. I have always had the best luck around the ole 10 cent bridge in Stuart.

Rob - at 02:35, you make throwing the cast net pancake look so easy but it appears obvious to the casual observer that you've thrown a net thousands of times even from a limited space such as your forward skiff deck.

Hey Robert a few years ago i bought a long sleeve. Now im in orgeron and every one who seen me wear it to work loves it soon as i get everyones sizes im going to order a bunch. Second i am moving to Florida but its St. Augustine till i can convice my other half to move to Jupiter. You're videos are great. There definitely making my move from the west to east coast easier. Maybe i will run into you one day and go crabbing or fishing.

Real fishing day on video, you can’t catch’em all. But still fun.
What would I do differently?! Set the hook earlier so I didn’t have to keep biting them off and losing my hooks. Lol. Cmon deermeat!
I believe he's using circle hooks. You don't set the hook with those. They set themselves, usually in the corner of the fishes mouth. If you set the hook like freshwater fishing, the hook gets pulled out of the fishes mouth.
Lol or just use bigger hooks
Lol crusty crab. Same difference. I never said you should set the hook like your top water fishing I said to set it earlier, as in.. reel into the fish earlier.
You don't set circle hooks. That's one reason why you use them. They're also less likely to gut hook a fish.

Here in Australia we call the big mullet bull mullet and the little mullet are potty mullet there awesome bait here to and atm here it’s prawn season to so good time catching them
