- Ruby Blue the Bus is an amazingly crafted short skoolie with a roof raise. The color of this bus is not the only eye catching thing about it. This tiny home on wheels is tall, feels spacious on the inside, and is clearly well crafted. On this tour you can have a look for yourself and meet the couple who created it.

The skoolie 🚌 looks great and with the roof raise this looks like massive amount of space. I personally would like to have a bathroom including toilet integrated. This is something we did with our US Skoolie here in Germany

Only thing I saw that worried me is the bed butting up against the stove. I see a danger of your bed catching fire, especially if the covers are Ryan or polyester blends of some kind that is highly flammable. You should raise the wooden bed separator by the stove to the same height as the coach's side, or attach another type of separator to act as fire guard on it. Look at how many electric room heaters cause house fire due to anything flammable being that close. You have been so lucky up to now that you haven't a fire. Good luck to both of you.

IDEAS! On the Bikes, I saw the lock you are using; Cable lock I can cut them like butter with a Cable Cutter. Get the Kryptonite Evolution Multi Vehicle U-Lock LS Lock Comes With FlexFrame U-Bracket OR Kryptonite KryptoLok Series 2 912 4 ft Integrated Chain! I have both. You have a great ride! Impressive!
Yeah that’s a good point unfortunately those cable locks don’t do a lot against a determined thief. We use abus brand locks on our ebikes they are much safer

For $79. You can get a pottapotti at Wal-Mart. Can put it in other the bed instead of the trash cans, especially for women . safe travels in your future and a very cute setup, great job!!!

Nice its a very nice build love the colors and the cabinets and shelving around the bed it looks very well made. I really love your bus. I would need a bathroom but thats because I'm a lot older then you guys so I get up a few times a night to pee lol but when I was younger it may not have been as important. I noticed a in the comments people mentioning the bathroom but if it works for you thats all that matters thats the beauty in doing your own build you can build it the way you want. As far as the stove and bed just put in a small barrier wall maybe a piece of copper sheeting would look nice. Its a easy fix if you choose to fix it.
Its still a very lovely bus build and I love it. Im doing my own build and I got some good ideas from your build.

If the bus wants to heat up, put your heater on and the fan, that helps to keep it cooler.

Nice conversion. I would be very afraid to have my stove so close to my bedding. I would be afraid of it catching on fire.
Great build and ideas for your age, however we are older so we pull a camper because we have to have a bathroom and shower, and like to be able to make day trips or even tent camp on rivers when kayaking.

@@sharongypsydove6080 How is it? Derogatory to be let down that a home on wheels doesn't have a toilet or shower. Most people's expectation for living in a bus is to be able to maintenance yourself in the shower in the kitchen by preparing food by sleeping.... They're not being derogatory by being disappointed that one of the basic needs that humans have can't be met by this build. They're just saying they're disappointed, I'm disappointed too, but I also like this build. It has some cool features that I haven't seen before so I'm not a hater and neither are they. But everybody has to s*** shower and shave 🤷🏽
Are the gas prices hitting you pretty hard? You mentioned you only had another month of traveling … what will you be doing then? Any plans to eventually live on the road?

I don't understand how people don't add a bathroom in their buses, cuz I wake up to pee in the middle of the night every night more then once and the second the open my eyes that's the first thing I do is pee, so how do they use the bathroom in the middle of the night n etc, it's not like you can plan when to use the bathroom????
Really cute build designs very cute . Your young so I guess bathroom doesn't matter I don't know even when I was younger I would have had to at least have a potty.. but when you get older that definitely wouldn't work . Most older people have to get up several times during the night to pee...lol and if you hold it... First thing in the morning you have to pee like a Russian racehorse! just saying

The music was way too loud and really felt like it competed with the young lady's voice at times. 12:30 That's NOT 'background music' , that's just plain annoying. Fun build though. 🚌💕👍

@@bonafideoutside I understand did you see couple that their bus broke down and their engine had to be taken apart and repaired and the spent over $5,000 for repairs and thankfully they were were both working remote, they were able to pay the money , if you have nothing coming in and you spend rainy day money for incidentals it will cost you being off road for long time, you are young and really need to think about an income instead of fun all the time, I am not saying work 9-5 but bring in some income for emergencies.

Sorry but when you have a cool bus an you dont have a shower restroom thats sad an not sanitary you didn't even show a pot to use its nice.just gotta have a showet n pot.a full bed remove little frige an put shower there just move thing around an could fit one.
It's an over all nice design but theres No bathroom and you have created a fire hazard with your cooking set up.
