Hi Asia
I don't know if you know, but all water colors, once dried on paper, can be sealed (waterproof) with Tim Holtz distress glaze. Then you can glue things over it. It is an oily substance, so maybe not all glues work for this.
This technique can also be used for sealing envelopes with watercolor art on them so they won't bleed in the rain.
I use colorless lip protectors like labello or something like that. But it might be that some colors will be absorbed a little bit when using the chapstick, and then the color dispers a bit on open (white) spaces. (Very light dispersion)
First, you put a very small amount on a paper towel and rub it all over the parts with watercolor. After that, you have to buff it up very well with a dry new piece of paper towel.
Soft paper towel is recommended.
