- Annie & Archie performed an impressive mid-air prey transfer attempt and while it was unsuccessful, it was still fun to watch. Archie then delivered prey directly to the balcony minutes later.

I was in love with Lou but I've grown to love Archie just as much. He's proven to be such a great dad. Such a great provider and such a great mate for Annie. She deserves nothing but the best!!
The chicks are way bigger than I thought they would be. They're so cute. They're so fluffy, they're just so darn freaking adorable!!!

Ha! A more direct prey delivery is more likely to be successful but probably not as much fun as a mid-air prey transfer. Great video--and always a delight to see fluffy chicks (these little birds are so fluffy that it's hard to see their bands!).
Just an aside: Interesting that Annie sleeps in the nest right next to her brood, while Hartley in San Jose is already staying outside the nest overnight (her little ones are younger than the Cal Falcons brood).
Thank you for these videos. It's hard to stay on top of all these nests, and I very much appreciate all these update.
Just so adorable. Falcons chicks are the best, although I do watch others, there’s never any bonking here, all just biding their time. Finishing with the ever lovely cuddle puddle. These parents are great, love this family. Thanks SKH! My pet bird passed away an hour ago, I so needed this❤

The thing is--the chicks are SO fluffy I can't really see their new leg bands--lol. And whenever I looked in on them, they were in a big floof pile.
Archie is the prince consort of the Campanile. Annie is the Queen, of course. Nice attempt at prey transfer--not an easy thing to do, for sure! Lovely to see them in flight together.

They're standing much more on their legs and feet now. The speed of growth and development is always surprising.

They've started to get their Cruella de ville for costs on now. I love the half fluff and half feather look. So in for the time of the year😂😂
Maybe you guys will get the rain system we are in right now (Hawaii) and Annie can get a shower.
They are still recorery from seing those big monsters ( the team 😂) and seams that they are a litle calm and peacefull 😮😮 ...
And new dad, Archie, is a machine of delivering food on the nest💪💪..

I feel guilty rooting for the predators. But I just love Annie and Archie. What is "pazooka" (mentioned in accompanying captions). Curious! Love to fluffs. Edit: cancel that question. I watched the previous "pazooka line of fire" video. It all makes sense now.
@elizabethmead2852- I feel the same way you do! I just have to do my best to remember it’s part of nature- some beautiful and some a bit difficult for us humans! I love all creatures. I guess Mother Nature knows better than me! Enjoy your day and the cute chicks!!

that was a good try but moving that fast had to of been hard . but he was quick to get more to his fluffy family good job Archie !!
