I didn't even realize you could adjust the tension from this screen. I thought it was only under the settings page. I finally realized the problem....my toddler had adjusted the tension here!!!! What a difference!!!

Thought pull comp problem with a design -small circles look like ovals. Adjusted and adjusted pull comp and that hasn't helped, so I'm going to try the tension setting. Thank you! BTW, glad you're on the planet. Most people are too full of themselves to ever say sorry or to admit to a mistake. That you did it IN your video says a lot about you. I'd subscribe over and over if I could!
Hello @@Stazziee, Yes! It did help -a bunch! But test and test again. My 1st try was a bit too loose, and while I didn't get loops like Allan, it did look a bit sloppy. But it did take care of the puckering and pulling! I increased it bit by bit until I hit the sweet spot. And every fabric is different. BTW, to be fair I did also figure out some of my problem was with not having enough or strong enough stabilizer. I ended up having to add a section of adhesive stabilizer for really dense/detailed areas or thin fabric. Hope it helps. Happy embroidering!

I just watched this video because I’m trying to find a solution to my issue. I just bought the pe800 and this is my first time ever doing embroidery. I keep having an issue where the machine gets stuck and says check and retread the upper thread. I can not figure out why this keeps happening. I’ve been working on a hat for the last 7 HOURS yes one hat smh. And the bobbin thread sometimes gets bunched up. Is there anything you could think of that it can be? I did lower the tension from 4 to 2.6 and it worked a little longer but it happened again. At this point I don’t think I’ll ever finish this hat with just a 3 inch design. But any thoughts would be helpful. Thank you

I create my own designs, I have been having trouble with the final outline of the image. For example if i were to embroider a face and I am attempting to just trace the outline in black to make it more cartoon looking. The outline will not be directly on the circle but be outside of it from a few centimeters. Do you have any idea what I can do to adjust the outline of it?

Hello, This video us very helpful. One thing I'm have troubles with I believe may be related to the way the machine is threaded more so than the tension? Or could it be they type of stabilizer? I did a tension test ranging from 0.0 to 7.4 and the bobbin thread still shows on each one. There's more of the top thread up to 2.2 but the bobbin thread is still showing. Do you have any idea what is causing this? Thanks in advance😊
Thanks for this video. Will this technique help with stitching on a stretchy polyester fabric. My fabric buckled and then when it got to the letters it seem to grab the fabric and bunched it below the plate. Put a hole in my fabric also 😭
No I haven’t. I didn’t even know that there was a setting on the pe800 to change bobbin tension. I wouldn’t mes with it. Mine embroiders fine just the way it is.

Thanks for this info. My problem is that when I used 40 weight thread is works great (on my PE800). But when I switched to a 30 Weight thread it gets jammed up. Do you know why? Thanks sir!
Brother machines are made to be worked with 40-50 weight top thread and 60 weight bobbin thread. I'd double check though and google searching what other users have said about thread weight :-)
Hey. If they don’t clamp to the machine then you purchased the wrong hoops. You have to make sure it is compatible with the machine in the description of the hoops where you purchased them.
@@daringmocha1 I purchased mine from Amazon from the PE800. In Embrillance look at the top for the yellow box icon to change your hoop size, apply then okay.
So what should I be setting my machine at for pre-installed logos that look like crap I see bobbin thread and they look messy like for example an "a" will have a space where it looks like it's missing thread

If it has a thread break it will stop. If it’s out of bobbin thread it will stop. If the thread gets tangled at the bottom it will stop. If it out of thread at the top it will stop.

hi i have just purchased in the uk where i live the pe770, it was all ok but now I'm getting white from the bobbin showing through, i have taken the bobbin out and adjusted the screw as some one told me to do this, but is this right???? I'm randomly having this problem in the middle of my design. (3 circles one inside the other) and the 3rd innermost circle stitched with all bobbin thread showing on top.
You need to stitch out a tension test and adjust the screw on the bobbin case to see if it's the top tension or bottom tension that's the issue. I notice when I use different thread brands it changes the bobbin tension.
Does the tension and pull compensation have anything to do with my upper thread breaking? It will work for a few minutes and then break. There is also some "buildup" (bunches up) of thread before it breaks.
I am trying to embroider a double thick dog leash and have tried all the tension tricks and so many different fonts to try to stop the loose hoops happening and having the font look like complete crap. Help??
Yes it would. Tension is how tight or how loose the thread is pulling. To much tension (pulling and it will fail) just like if you had the thread in your hand. Pull to much and it will break. Same concept.

My PE800 started bunching up underneath. I can take it off and get all the threads off but then I can’t get my project lined back up to finish it. Is there a way to do this?
Is there a way to line your project back up after you shifted it? No other way other than spending all day trying to line it back up. I would just start fr the beginning. It’s bird nesting because your thread is not inserted in the machine correctly. That’s the main way these machines bird nest.
I can’t figure out how I have the threading wrong. Do you have a video showing how you thread this machine? I thought maybe it was going from 3 to 4 to 5 but I have redone it over and over and it is still doing it. The baffling part is that the 1st layer of my project goes on fine, it starts nesting on the second layer!

Hi girl! Did you tighten the screw on the bobbin holder to fix tension too? Maybe try a different prefilled bobbin thread and test the tension on that one :) you probably figured it out by now though ❤️

Auto threader stopped working because your needle is not in its highest position. Hit it button on the front to make the needle go down and up again then try it. You are most likely breaking needles because you are trying to embroider with the sewing foot.
Whenever I’m in the middle of a project and my needle breaks or I have a birds nest under the presser foot, after I’ve cleared it up and corrected the problem when I return to my project it is not I. Alignment and I literally have to throw the entire project away! I’m so upset about this!
My se600 is brand new I know how to thread it even fish the bobbin thread..😔I just can’t get it to stitch smoothly and I’m afraid to alter with it..I’m new and eager to learn because I have so much I want to share with the world..I’ve been practicing but so far I just can’t get a smooth stitch like in this video, this is so frustrating I pray that God send someone my way to pass me the gems I need to succeed

You adjust the tension when it’s embroidering too loose or too tight.

No. No way to make a real Chenille patch with the actual real chenille fuzz without that chenille machine.

In your case you need to use stabilizer and spray adhesive.

Hey I watch you all the time.... I have this machine and I bought extra hoops... how do I change it to a 4x4
You have to change your hoop within the program yo are using with your machine. I use Embrilliance and you can use up to a 5 x 12 in this program.
I have embrillance as well but maybe I have the wrong hoops...because they don’t clamp to the machine like the 5x7

Pull Comp could be one reason the other reason if your bobbin thread is showing could be the bobbin thread inserted incorrectly.

This happened to me, what i figured was that the thread I had was cheap. I went back to walmart to get a different brand and it stopped snapping.

You need a commercial machine for that unfortunately. These machines are not strong enough to constantly planetary think dog leashes.

Thread breaks can also happen if to many layers or thread are embroidering on top of each other.

Thread it with the presser foot up. Don’t put it down until you are at the step when you use the auto-threader.

Auto threader stopped working because your needle is not in its highest position. Hit it button on the front to make the needle go down and up again then try it.

My under thread is slack and gets tangled in the machine. Helppppp!!!!
You using a premiums bobbin? Also look up lower thread tension

My se600 is brand new I know how to thread it even fish the bobbin thread..😔I just can’t get it to stitch smoothly and I’m afraid to alter with it..I’m new and eager to learn because I have so much I want to share with the world..I’ve been practicing but so far I just can’t get a smooth stitch like in this video, this is so frustrating I pray that God send someone my way to pass me the gems I need to succeed
