My cousin changed the whole place soon as he got the job, he overworked everyone for 3 months straight when he got the job, he’s doing way more than a 100 an hour like way more, the whole warehouse started following the way he did shit now, that was after the higher ups talked to him and they were deadass scared of his abilities, he went from 16 an hour to 20 and either 1 or 2 promotions, there’s is place to go up, how well u doing the job tho?

But some require uni like med school. Pick something high in demand in your area of residence, learn the skills, choose 2 jobs related to skills be great at these specific jobs. Rather then 10 jobs you can be ok and make it harder for you to get a job because you're not being in depth.
Focus on quality for the first month by avoiding errors like reporting missing items..that is the main problem to avoid write up …make sure u scan every items in the bin before repotting it missing…good luck
Wish my Amazon had the robots lmaoo, people have to go on the operators machines to pick or walk around to find the items then bring them back to the area where someone else will drag all of the items to the packers.

What chaps my hide is not Amazon itself but their delivery drivers. They know about porch pirates and USPS mail theft but do little to nothing to thwart theft. It may not be in their job description but I would highly appreciate it if they would ring the doorbell. This would also help with alerting people that use doorbell cams. That way packages dont have to sit out all day like grab bags for scumbags.
Majority of delivery drivers will not ring doorbells unless the customer puts that in their delivery instructions. Getting them to read and actually follow the instructions is another thing. I have instructions to place packages at my back fence near my garage so people driving by can't see it.
Exactly my instructions say push door bell they always did in the past now they don't and they leave the package at the bottom step In plain sight and now packages get taken I'm like wtf.
You move it ur Body a lot ,.you can switch to a different department after 1 month if you dont write up. Just focus on quality by picking the right items and pace it the correct tote

After 10 hours of work you’ll definitely feel it then you have like 3 more days to go through. It can be exhausting. And I play sports too 😅 so my body goes through a lot every week 😂

At first when you apply they randomly select a position for you. After 30 days of working there you can transfer to picking. But I’m telling you do not chose picking. It sucks and hurts your back like crazy. You have to pick 350 items an hour. If you come below that number the manager would be up your ass.
Some Amazon centers allow their workers to wear headphones. The one I worked at in Matteson wouldn’t allow it 😂😂 hated it so much but the pay was so good
The rate is 350 picks per hr there are some that pic up to 500 ..depending ur pic location has to do with small multiple items ..but is not compulsory to pic 350 ph just avoid errors for the start .as you go on you will go beyond your rate

But i am not a Robot I mean if you get a lot of multiple items you can get 400 or more but you’re very careful you don’t get any missing items that will go against you and if you get about five or six missing items every couple of days they come in right you up very easily ,
@@briesoldnose4161 no that’s a universal station. That’s what there called at my fc. Arsaw is the fully automated stations where you don’t have to wait for someone to come get your full totes you just push it and it automatically gets taken up to the belt

During orientation you get a random badge so it could be Packing, ship dock or picking. Picking is easy, just repetitive

They have flex shift ..they sent out the time and u pick the time you want to come ..once u pick u have to show up ..
