      that is when i hit them with my own documentation write me up for being five minutes late so then I document how many people are online at like 10 o’clock when we leave for lunch and it’s about 2-13 so that means about 2-14.75% of people actually stay until the actual 10 o’clock break U document it take pictures of my screen and then send it to HR so if any manager tried to say that to me, I say tell that the rest of the employees before you say that to me

    What chaps my hide is not Amazon itself but their delivery drivers. They know about porch pirates and USPS mail theft but do little to nothing to thwart theft. It may not be in their job description but I would highly appreciate it if they would ring the doorbell. This would also help with alerting people that use doorbell cams. That way packages dont have to sit out all day like grab bags for scumbags.

    • @Jaymo003
      @Jaymo003 9 месяцев назад

      Majority of delivery drivers will not ring doorbells unless the customer puts that in their delivery instructions. Getting them to read and actually follow the instructions is another thing. I have instructions to place packages at my back fence near my garage so people driving by can't see it.

      I just started too, currently on week 3. How was your experience so far? I got “Pick” Position and it’s easy, just very very repetitive

      @Khdija Saleh These are fulfillment centers so look up “Amazon Fulfillment Center Jobs” . Also if you’re pick it’s no more than 20lbs. Most of the time it’s clothes, small items or blankets. During orientation you get a random badge so it could be Packing, ship dock or picking. Picking is easy, just repetitive

      @Khdija Saleh I suggest working a month or two at your position and ask for a “AFM” Application. It’s a lot of walking, but keeps you busy and you’re not in the same area all day long

    Keep it simple. Pick a job you can see yourself doing from looking at job activities, learn the skills needed for the job, and if you can learn this without needing to go to university then do this as you can learn everything online. But some require uni like med school.
    Pick something high in demand in your area of residence, learn the skills, choose 2 jobs related to skills be great at these specific jobs. Rather then 10 jobs you can be ok and make it harder for you to get a job because you're not being in depth.
