Hello, first of all thank you for taking the time to write and film this guide for everyone.
This method doesn't appear to be working anymore. I have tried Chrome and Microsoft Edge.
The error I am getting across all attempted browsers when pressing "Enter" after pasting the code:
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read properties of null (reading 'length')
at :1:37
This error is present no matter what I do - use the inspector and "choose" every ui element surrounding the message containing the audio message, but no luck. I've tried selecting the whole message (contains the timestamp, emoji reactions OUTSIDE of the actual message audio player element), just selecting the audio player element itself (grey box containing the play button, slider, and timestamp of playthrough).
Does this method no longer work?

I was reviewing this script today and it still works on my tenant and I was able to download the audio messages.
Not sure what could be causing the issue on your side, if possible send me a screenshot of the developer tools source code so I can compare and adjust it to work also for you.

How do I prevent from downloading vm to phone.. I noticed it was downloading to my music files
Is this happening in your phone when you play to listen the message?
its not working at my end and give error
I just tested it with the latest version of Microsoft Edge and it worked fine. Can you please make sure you select the message with the developer tools before executing the script. Also let me know what is the browser you are using

Hi, I just tested the code using the latest version of Edge and it still works.
As Microsoft Teams has multiple s in the application i suggest you to first select the message you want to download using the developer tools and then execute the code in the console to make sure it is executed in the right context.
