Thanks for the feedback, but this solution uses an official Microsoft integration and it only supports personal chats

Does it only work on Edge or would it work on all browsers?

It should work in all Chromium browsers, however I noticed it has some dependencies with EDGE. If you never used Teams on EDGE, open it once and then it will start working in Chrome.

I followed every step and it didnt work for me as well. It says no errors when I deploy it. Everything looks how yours does but when I refresh the page it doesnt show up still. How to I fix this?

Do you have a profile picture defined for your user, I forgot to add a validation for it and someone brought that issue to my attention.
If the issue persists, please make sure you have granted the permissions also for the application to use Microsoft Graph.

I've made sure SharePoint has granted permissions for Microsoft Graph and it still did not solved this issue. I did not have a profile picture when I first deployed and it didn't work so I tried adding a profile picture and it still didn't work. I love this and our company is wanting to get this incorporated into our SharePoint but its not working.
