All the band members are crazy talented. But Nuno was the backbone of Extreme. Without his amazing skills I don't think they would have been anywhere near as amazing as they were. Highly underrated guitarist. There are full grown adults who have never heard his stuff and it's a shame. Thank God I was raised by a guitarist. I got the pleasure to listen and learn so much more than most folks.
My favorite guitarist, I think that it is like a good personality as well as a performance .. made a team with the masters and fantastic performances ...Thank you for your good performance forever
I wonder how did he write or compose all this stuff like midnight express or play with me song and flight of the wounded bumblebee. Man he motivates to play guitar and grow my hair now that I'm young
If you want to hear and see what real virtuosity is,go and find Michael Paouris on youtube.You will only need two performances to convince yourself and that too on an acoustic guitar.Check out performances "It was just a funk" and "House of the rising sun".I'm absolutely sure that Nuno can't play it because he doesn't have this level of technique and virtuosity.To make things even more convincing Paouris plays everything exclusively in the hardest way.Namely he plays strictly alternate picking.
Even more amazing when you consider how low he holds his guitar...
