The main problem is that the drops are way low on ancestral items. Also why if I’m in torment 4 doing pits 80-100 and I still getting blue items and yellows😂
Since he does not says it, the answer is the tree of whispers. You need to farm it to get the best tributes, and it is also a great way to get ancestrals by its own, + you can target farm. If you looking for aspects, this is your best shot, way better than farming pits for obols because the ancestral rate on the curiosity vendor is horrendous. Also, don't forget to check the Den vendor once in a while and level up all mercenaries to get the most items per roll. This has some chances to sell ancestrals and the aspect caches also have a fairly good chance to drop ancestrals with aspects of the type of your choice.
Yeah Blizzard completely screwed the pooch on this one I mean yeah the expansion is amazing for the videos and for the gameplay but other than that of lizard is screwing up hardcore on this one. I mean if they wanted to lose players out there season 6 they're doing a good job because I guarantee you people are going to stop playing especially when path of exiles part 2 comes out. And as of right now until Blizzard starts fixing Diablo 4, I'm not going to spend any more money on cosmetics. I've already spent a small fortune on a lot of cosmetics already and I really should know because I need to get my car fixed but I did it anyway because I love what they were attempting on doing on the game and I'm very huge Diablo fan for over 20 years but since Activision took over, they even screwing up hardcore and it's just steadily gotten worse. All those players that I ran with back in season 2, I no longer see playing. One or two of them and that's it but so many people have jumped ship
@@MikeBrown-bs7qu already, i dropped the game after 2 weeks of playing(50 hours). No max aspects, no ubers(i mean, u can farm ubers and u get zero from them), no 2-3 stars gear, only 1 S tier hero, they are fucking cringe.
I wish ancestral legendaries would appear more often. For me it's being a lot easier getting a purple or brown item with a very good roll I want, than an ancestral legendary.
Wtf was the point of “loot reborn”, if 2 seasons later we’re struggling for basic materials, and aspects? The loot this season feels like 1 step forward, 3 steps backwards… it has caused numerous friends to not play this season. Feels like an absolute slog
Loot Reborn was already crappy to begin with. Removed affixes? Yeah very very few, just to then add some of them (or other stuff) basically back to the gear via tempering. Now instead of getting a 2/3 Item to 3/3 with infinite gold (because gold is easy to come by) you need a 2/5 or 3/5 item to 5/5 that can brick on it's way there. Then masterwork it properly too, which is a gold / resource sink .. oh and dont forget greater affixes and all. Loot Reborn actually made the whole gear system worse then just the old one where a 3/3 was done.
@@Electric_Doodie The problem with the old system mas basically that it was easy specially with the quantity of rare ancestrals that dropped to have perfect items or close it, the grind would basically halt once b4 you even level capped.
I have no idea how people are having issues. Been playing for 6 days now, little after launch (approx 4 hrs a night, except weekends more) at paragon 241, 11 mythicals, clearing pit 127, multiple GA gear mastercrafted 12/12 for different builds. Saving up tons of whisper caches for an alt eventually. I have had zero issues with anything stacking up. 44k rawhide, 33k iron, all of my supplies are bottomless it feels like. Just run 2 infernal hordes to make 1 gear 12/12. Not saying there's no problems, but I am struggling to run into any issues with aspects, gear, materials.
I think I figured out how to get the aspect you’re aiming for if it just hasn’t come to you!!! This worked for me twice in a row on aspects that just weren’t showing up (one was Aspect of the Alpha for Druid, I was level 60 and still had never seen ONE)… go to your codex and find the aspect then Favorite it, it should come very soon after! I got the item with the aspect within ten minutes of doing it TWICE in a row (different elusive aspects). Hope this helps someone!!
All they would need to do to fix this shambles is double the chance of a legendary being ancestral per torment difficulty or something,, it's an absolute joke that you can fill an inventory with legendaries and only have 2-3 that are ancestral when you're playing on T4, or even running t100+ pits is the same.. lucky to get 1 ancestral per run.. or make it so ancestrals drop a MINIMUM of +10 to the aspect on an item, so 11/21 is the minimum instead of 1/21 because even if you DO drop an ancestral and it DOES roll an aspect you need, it's still less than a 5% chance of it being max roll.. this makes the chance of rolling a max roll aspect you need something stupid like 1:10000 and thats assuming that all tiers have the same probability of rolling, if they're weighted then it's even worse. lets say you drop a pair of gloves, it's about 10% chance to get an ancestral which seems about right, 1 in 10 legendary is ancestral, there's 37 offensive aspects and 17 utility aspects making a total of 54 that can roll on it, to get a max roll a specific aspect you want that has 21 tiers it's 1:10 x 1:54 x 1:21 which if my math is correct is a 1 in 11,340 chance of a legendary item dropping a specific aspect on an ancestral at max roll. WHAT.. THE.. FUCK.
Give me a god damn break... "shambles"? Really? Try playing the game for longer than a week. Enjoy the hunt instead of bitching that you don't have everything to be God tier on day 1, week 1 of season. Part of the shit culture of I want everything given to me right off the bat with zero effort.
The real issue is that not only is the ancestral drop rate so low, but they can roll that affix from rank 1-21 so on average less than 25% of the 10% of loot you get that is ancestral will have a roll between 17-21
It is a grind this season. I think mid season patch sees drop rates for ancestral in 2-4 torment changed a bit. Still enjoying it determined to hit Para 300
I havent got an upgrade for about 120 levels so far, all my ancestrals drops are always lower than ehat ive got and sometimes i get the lowest possible rolls on them too
The good news is that the maxed out aspect off of regular legendary is the usual max. The Ancestral aspects maxed out, are higher than any previous season.
i thought this is the mechanic of the the season... aspect salvaged from legendary item to be improved with an ancestral legendary item.. from what you say, basically for some aspects doesn't improve at all...
@Barricade is not just that. There's a current bug with the codex. If you happened to get low upgrade from an Ancestral, you bugged that aspect in your codex. Even if you get an upgrade from a non Ancestral, you wont upgrade your codex. Lets say you find a 14/21 Ancestral and you add it to your codex. If you later find a 17/21 from a non Ancestral, you codex will remain at 14/21. Not sure if this has been fixed in 2.03.
If the actual value is higher (not the ratio) it will upgrade. Ancestrals have higher ranges. He explained it in the video. The only time you will find a true max aspect is on an ancestral item.
it is not true though, you cant have your aspects at 21/21 in your codex if they are not rare (yellow). the 21/21 is only on the item, there won't be any maxed aspect in your codex unless it's 1/1 or a rare/yellow one
an easy way to fix it would be to force ancestral to roll only on the highest tier of the aspect. Normal item can roll between 30% and 60%, the ancestral would then roll between 61 to Max. That way, any ancestral woul be guaranteed to be in the higher tier and not waste the aspect on a bad roll.
Id like to see a bump in anscestral drop rates now they've killed so many sources. A bump to those legendary tributes too, and anscestral gear should always proc a 17+ affix roll, given they're so low.
Good explanation. I don't mind so much that we have to work hard for the absolute best gear, but the ranges are just too big. Like Edgemaster is 5-25%. So it can suck or be amazing. I think they need to close the gaps a bit. It sucks getting the thing you need, but its a horrible roll.

The only problem with doing the hordes, so many people keep on clicking on the cheapest shrine because it's too hard for him to do anything else but the thing is though is that you're not going to get anything unless you run a much harder shrine because all those points accumulate each time So if you only do one then that's all you're going to get is the bare minimum and some of them don't even have it where when they click on the shrine they don't pick the one that gives what you need in order to be able to get the stuff that you need at the very end for the boxes and not only that though just to be able to get any items, you're already using 200 of those right off the rip and that's not including then you got to either use the remaining if you have any because people are simpletons and choosing the wrong ones because they don't want it to be hard. Well if you don't want it to be hard then pick a different tier. I can't stand it when I state that I'm running hards and those that I'm running with they decide to pick something smaller because they don't want it to be difficult.
Maybe a bug, but I had an Ancestral with a max roll aspect 15%. Salvaged it, but still only have 10% in my codex. Sucks because this aspect is like make or break my build.
Hello I have question please can we get ancient legendary in torment one. To help complete all the aspects. I don’t get much playing time as I work 80 plus hours. Keep up great content!!!!
What i dont get is im on the Aspect of Interdiction 12% atm and i got a non GA Amulet with 15% interdiction. And i would not get the 15% on my Aspect if i salvage it? Why? On the Codex it says salvage Legendary Items with higher Aspects. Well 15% is higher than 12...?
same thing for me, i was quite confused and I haven't found any answer yet. I had the aspect from a legendary item salvage, after some time I've found the same legendary item with the aspect far more improved, but even it doesn't work to salvage and improve the aspect in the codex.. My guess is that i need to find a ancestral legendary item with the improve aspect to salvage it and save it in the Codex...kind of shit if you ask me.. as for other aspects the improvement through salvage works from legendary item to legendary item.
Thanks for the great tip! I actually enjoy the changes they made this season. It seems like some people don’t want to ever work for their gear and would simply be happy with a slot machine that they just pull over and over and over. I’m having the most fun I’ve had in Diablo 4 yet.
Give it to the end of the season. Come next season, they'll pull the "oh we've raised the power cap back to 925, and those items are harder than Chinese algebra to acquire."
Afaik, it should be only last point from ancestral. People have reported that if you happen to dismantle an ancestral unique in a slot it locks at 16/21 and otherwise you can get 20/21 as non-acestral if you haven't. Still silly system though.
Yes, this has a LOT of players upset witht the game, especially with the difficulty obtaining Ancestral gear and then HOPING that it has an upgrade for the aspct that you need.
I understand that, but there should be some reasonable limits. For example my last 2 ancestrals drops were with aspects with values like 1% of 15%. This is nothing else than a way for players to artificially extend their playing time imo.
Season 6 compared with season 5 is a bad joke.... The worst in my opinion is bring back the "fail" option when you're trying to upgrade glyphs... They think everybody is playing the brokenborn....
I'm ok with higher tier aspects dropping only on ancestral legendary IF they were guaranteed to have high tiers. Ancestral legendaries with tier 1 aspect is just bad design.
The drops rates for Ancestral drops needs to be improved for Torment 4. Also, the Number of Runes required to craft a Mythic need to be dropped from 6 to 2. Why? Because not everyone plays D4 like it is a full time job.

that's a wall of nonsense. shrines and boxes and difficult ? spiritborn just oneshot the whole screen on T4
Great video, thanks!
Well, the problem is that ancestral legendaries can have ranks that are lower than 16, which is stupid. They should only drop top level ranks.
Wht if you don't go group content?
What i dont get is im on the Aspect of Interdiction 12% atm and i got a non GA Amulet with 15% interdiction. And i would not get the 15% on my Aspect if i salvage it? Why? On the Codex it says salvage Legendary Items with higher Aspects. Well 15% is higher than 12...?
same thing for me, i was quite confused and I haven't found any answer yet. I had the aspect from a legendary item salvage, after some time I've found the same legendary item with the aspect far more improved, but even it doesn't work to salvage and improve the aspect in the codex.. My guess is that i need to find a ancestral legendary item with the improve aspect to salvage it and save it in the Codex...kind of shit if you ask me.. as for other aspects the improvement through salvage works from legendary item to legendary item.
if true why do i have some 750 items with a max roll aspect and some 800 items with min?
Great video, thanks
I tried every method and no max and event high roll aspect on ancestral gear
I would really like to see Ancestral Legendary Items drop from bosses. Don't like that it is uniques only. Needs to be a mix.
At least they should make it that ancestrals always have the aspect in the 17-21 range. So often i drop ancestrals with min roll aspects. Just stupid
We did a full citadel run yesterday and we got 2 ancestral the rewards are so bad 😢
thanks, cade! best one!
Bro you're the real MVP.
Where do you find these legendary tributes? I have yet to see a single one with 260 paragon level lol
World boss (united) tree of whisper (resolute)
Very informative video thanks
Thanks for the great tip! I actually enjoy the changes they made this season. It seems like some people don’t want to ever work for their gear and would simply be happy with a slot machine that they just pull over and over and over.
I’m having the most fun I’ve had in Diablo 4 yet.
Just in time , I wasted bills trying to upgrade lol
Is it possible to get these final Aspects from the Den vendor?
thank you very much for info, i was wondering for 3 days what is wrong with my luck....now i know. not enough info...and luck
Short and sweet video bro kick ass
So infernal hord but in what tier ?
Pit 100+ drops almost all legendaries, more than helltide. And these are frequently ancestral. Decent spiritborn can slam 100s in under 3 min
that moment when i’ve got full stall of mythic but still can’t find legendary decent gloves and ring 😂😂
It is really sad how hard it is to get brown ancstral this season ..they really nerfed it compared to last season ..by thousands of percentange ..
bought non-ancestral max rolled aspect item from bartering, salvaged it and it didn't upgrade xd
Whats a good place to farm those tributes
I'm ok with higher tier aspects dropping only on ancestral legendary IF they were guaranteed to have high tiers. Ancestral legendaries with tier 1 aspect is just bad design.
Thank you sir!!
This change would have been fine, if Ancestral gear rolled only within the 17-21 range.
Aaaaand subbed
How do add them on weapns
The drops rates for Ancestral drops needs to be improved for Torment 4. Also, the Number of Runes required to craft a Mythic need to be dropped from 6 to 2. Why? Because not everyone plays D4 like it is a full time job.
My necro is 223, I have a ton of hours in him. I STILL only have 1/21 for the fastblood aspect
