GMO corn isn’t drastically different from corn sold in stores, typically is has 25 base pair change to breed disease resistance into plants. Therefore, GMO corn can be resistant to the fungus unless it has resistance to the enzyme that enables that fungus to grow.
Can someone tell me what is the name of the music used? Sounds so much more fun than the boring music that put in the background of the videos that they makes us watch for labs in one of my classes.
One Little Indian No need for that attitude. He seems very respectful and I think its great that more people will be able to have access to this ingredient
The horse left the barn on that one a long time ago. Unless of course you believe that the white man *doesn't* eat corn, tomatoes, potatoes, cranberries, turkey, sweet potatoes, and probably a dozen others that I've forgotten. Then again, I've seen Indians wearing blue jeans and riding horses. Horses are from Spain.
@@chelleha Horses *WERE* here 12,000 years ago. Then they went extinct in the Americas and weren't seen here again until they were brought over by Spaniards.
Corn truffle should be used because it sounds more palatable
Cornshroom

Maybe it's relevant to mention that corn smut is also a plant disease.
Fungus. Technically a disease because it isn't necessarily the product that is expected, but it doesn't necessarily mean it is bad.
@GatoKitty There are also benefical ones.

@ Mikowacomet Yep, smart folks capitalize on great ideas. Dummies just find fault with everything and remain negative.
