    I'm having a hard time choosing what pre-med course I should take up next year. My priority course is BS Medical Technology po, pero due to some circumstances with scholarships, I might end up taking BS Biology as my pre-med course. I'm a bit worried kasi I'm really not good in biology and I heard from other people that I might have a hard time in med school if I do take up BS Bio. However, after watching this video, BS Biology piqued my interest na po and I realized na every pre-med courses do have their pros and cons.
    Thank you for this content, ate and to Doc Riant! I'm a new subscriber of yours now! Hehe

      Hi, Dzeana! I’m really glad we could help. 😊🤍 In med school, di talaga maiiwasan especially during first year and second year, you will really feel that knowledge gap between you and your classmates. Kasi you come from different courses so iba-iba din yung expertise ninyo. But sooner or later, you will go in sync kasi you’ll be reading and learning the same materials. As years pass by, di mo na namamalayan halos same na kayo ng struggles ng batch mates mo. So if ever you’ll proceed, don’t hesitate to ask your friends for help if may topics na nahihirapan kang intindihin. Tulungan lang kayo and surely you’ll survive. :)

    Thanks for this info. I can show this to my young sis who’s still hesitant to what course she’s going to shift to. She’s already a chemical engineering student but biology is her forte so i can show her this video kasi nadi discouraged sya sa mga naririnig nya about bs bio as a pre-med course.

    May tanong lang ako, anong specialization sa Medicine ang pwede kong kunin ko kung saan expose ako araw-araw sa mga mahihirap? Gusto ko araw-araw ako expose sa mga mahihirap na kababayan natin para matulungan sila. Magsstart pa lang ako mag-aral ng Pre-med course.

    • @nori.noodle
      @nori.noodle  2 года назад

      Hi, Carmela! Actually po after nakapasa sa board exams, pwede na po kayo mag general practice. Hindi niyo na po kailangan mag specialize. :) Kung kagaya po sa nais ninyo na makapaglingkod sa mga nangangailangan, pwede po kayo mag volunteer sa doctor to the barrios program. Sa pagkakaalam ko din po yung mga may DOH scholarship ay nagre-return service po sa DTTB program. Malaking advantage po sa inyo if mag-apply kayo for DOH scholarship if yun po yung gusto ninyo. 😊

    Hi there Doc,
    As always great content very informative, very valuable, but i want to ask you what is the difference in MD course for a NMG and IMG apart from language.
    Have you encountered any racism between them in teaching and clinical aspects of learning.
    Hope to hear from you soon

    • @nori.noodle
      @nori.noodle  3 года назад

      Hi, Shivam! My med school has a separate program for NMD and IMD so I can’t really tell the difference between them since I don’t get to experience their program. But based on the number of students that enroll every year, I think the IMG are treated very well. In my school, majority of foreign students come from India. But there are also students from Vietnam and South Korea I heard. :)

      Hi, sorry for the late reply! You can have other pre-med courses too! Kung ano po pinaka gusto mo :) Wala naman pong required na pre-med course before med school. If you’re still exploring your options, you can check the link below. I made similar videos like this for other pre-meds here in PH.
