In a nutshell, this video is the best one explaining specifically what to do, where to do from. Thanks Lukas! Every second is useful and informative and to the point without exaggeration.
Thank you for the kind words! @@gundaaa90
I’m starting data analyst as a career change now and I’m 43. I hope in 6 months time I’ll be able to secure a job:)
Have you started yet and how much did you cover ?
I just started the IBM Data Analytics course couple days ago and I’m determined to pass and get good. This is great advice for the future! Wish me luck!
Can you do a video about how to build a good portfolio? with good projects? thanks for your videos
Absolutely, it's coming. Thanks for the support
@@learnwithlukas i want to land a job of data analyst. I dont have a degree. You are my mentor
@@learnwithlukas hey Lukas, I'm looking to start my journey by pursing Google data analytics course but since I don't wanna learn R (I prefer learning python), is it okay if I skip the entire section of "Data analysis with R Programming" in Google course, I'd learn python from another course
@@akindia8519 Well then you won't get the final cert. Sure, I agree that Python is a better option. But having some R on your resume will never hurt you. Do what you think is right!
I am currently a college student with no degree or professional experience and I just started the Google Data Analytics Certificate on Coursera. I'm leaving this comment to mark the beginning of my journey towards becoming a Data Analyst. I'm locking in and committing to this. I'll provide updates on how it's going every now and then. Wish me luck.
@arklight1696 Good luck, Champ!
You can Do it Brotha📍
Goodluck my man❤
Good luck, waiting for an update!

Can you make a video regarding the relationship of AI and data analyst work family in the next few years?
I'm on level 1, doing well with Google Data Analytics course, I hope to get 100 times better by 2024 following this roadmap :D
That's a good start. You got this!
I'm doing the analyze part of the series
Thank you very much!
I had some questions about what would be the way to go in order to become a data analyst, this simple video helped me a lot!
Can you plz share your experience and the learning process ?
Great info. A lot of my SQL Continuing Education students would find this video useful.
This is a really helpful video! Thank you.
Great video man. You have earn my sub!

Thank you, it means a lot
You can also get the courses for free by applying to the financial aid program and you'll have 180 days to finish the course and get your certificate

Thanks Lukas! That’s informative.
This video was more amazing than I anticipated 😮subbed
Thank you!
Thanks!!!!! I realllyyy really want to get into it 😂
Thanks this was helpful! 😀
Glad it was helpful!
I have a question as a complete beginner. I was told to learn python first and then learn SQL next because it’ll connect the dots in learning as a beginner. What do you recommend? Thank you.
Its good to start with python then SQL
And have you started learning them?
great video , but where is stat and math . how can i learn python with its analytics libraries without math and stat ?
Love the content man, keep up the good work! Can you make a video about jobs sites to apply for data analysts like developer have such a Remote.ok and ect? I have 5 years of data analyst experience and looking to go remote where I can travel anywhere.
Thank you, and great suggestion!
Do companies from the USA or Europe, Canada only hire residents of their country, or can they hire residents of other countries? (Latin America)
This is so helpful thank you ❤️
Thank u so much! This help out so much
Glad it helped!
hello , why did u recommend cs50 course for python over the datacamp intro courses with much more hands on learning there
Make a vedio on how to. Make portfolio project
I will start learn the math now!
love the content, glad i found this channel!
Learn SQL for free how exactly I did not quite catch that..
great video
Can 5years exp QA engineer transition into Data analyst?? If yes do i get job with out putting experience as data analyst??
Thanks so much for the video. Just a question on the roadmap. Would be ok to take de Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Professional Certificate first?
Absolutely, just know that it focuses on Power BI and you'll need to learn other skills on the side.
The plan is to complete the entire roadmap you shared. But at this point in time my first need is PBI (which I have some knowledge on the visualisation aspect).
Do you have any knowledge on the People Analytics Certificate from the AIHR? I am asking that because I am an HR professional and I am moving now to an HR Data Analyst role.
Thanks in advance.
Sorry, I have no knowledge of that one. But HR analytics is interesting and I wish you all the best
This is superb
Thank you!
I am stuck on statistics , I know python basics and sql
No Excel?
I honestly don't think most people need to practice Excel that much. It's important but also, you'll learn it as you go along, and you should put a much stronger focus on learning the key skills.
Is it worth starting now considering AI?
Yes. Video coming about this soon.
If you're seriously asking if its worth it due to AI you may as will save yourself some time and quit now.
@@grappler555 you think my question was stupid? I’m not even started.
@@Hellunderme not at all just the wrong mindset. Don't focus on the reasons not to do something. If you put your mind to it you can do anything you want to.
Why tf are always people scared about AI. Data analytics is PERFECT even in the AI mess happening now. AI doesn't have the ability to think critically or rationally through data and fully analyze and comprehend data based on the given tasks to data analysts, human resources are still need for those cases
We dont need excel's sklils for data analysis ?
You definitely do, but it's almost obvious at this point. And you can google/use AI to figure out how to do most things.
Please add resume for note graduated candidates please 👍
I am finishing my first course Data analyst with SQL and Power BI using Udemy websites.
Is Udemy certificate good for CV?
Do you need complicated math for it? I wanna start but idk what level of math it needs
Do video
I see a guy got a free boot camp on RUclips should I study it? Or do I need school
If you can stay consistent with RUclips, that works. Going to school is helpful for some, but it's not always the best option.
Thanks for the video. Can you please do an extended video on how to build your portfolio as a beginner in an IT career
This video is the thorough definition of "Useful"
this is surprisingly very informative for only 4 minutes, thanks man it is more than i could ask for!!
I've been confused about this for a while - what does 'remote (in US)' mean? That the company is based in US or that the applicant should be living in US? Or both?
Applicant based in the US in most cases
@@learnwithlukas thanks! Any websites for applying for such companies but from a different country? A video on that would be pretty cool.
@@hebahpatel756 Agree. Please @learnwithlukas, could you elaborate on that?
Great post! This roadmap is a fantastic resource for aspiring data analysts. It provides clear, actionable steps to break into the field quickly and efficiently. Thanks for sharing this valuable guide!
Thanks for the video. Can you please do an extended video on how to build your portfolio as a beginner in an IT career
Thanks! Data analysis portfolio video coming soon!
Have you completed learning data analysis?
If yes How long did it took ?
this is a great post bro! it's exactly what i needed to know. just subscribed
Thank you Man U give me hope

Sir Do we need to learn statistics for becoming an data analyst?
You are very very fast in your video, but thanks for the efforts
Do I need excel ?
Great Video! Glad to know I'm on the right track! :)
Thank you.
Thank you Lukas for the video, it will be great to have a guide for building and uploading a portfolio.
Should i learn the calculations first like algebra and statistics?
Because im definitely don't have knowledge about it 😅
Depends on what you want to do, some statistics can be good
@@learnwithlukas I want to become data analyst sir but im not good at math , I'm thinking right now of what should i learn first between this two calculations
@@junk-t3654 Not much math is needed for data analysis to be honest
@@learnwithlukas but is it okay to just learn the basics of algebra and statistics sir ? because im literally don't have knowledge about it
I dont really understand the question sorry, of course you need basic math but if you just want to become a data analyst you don't need any really advanced math.
Amazing video and information dude
Thank you!!
CAN YOU give a guide as to how to make a resume- what to put and when- especially for freshers or gap year aspirants 😐😐
