I am currently a college student with no degree or professional experience and I just started the Google Data Analytics Certificate on Coursera. I'm leaving this comment to mark the beginning of my journey towards becoming a Data Analyst. I'm locking in and committing to this. I'll provide updates on how it's going every now and then. Wish me luck.
I started yesterday the IBM course also in Coursera. Best of luck! I am close to finishing my bachelor's in biology also I'd be glad to keep in touch as beginners and hopefully start advancing our careers if needed :)
I'm a junior in college at the moment studying Data Analysis, but unfortunately I have realized my college isn't actually preparing me for this career at all. I graduate next summer and I still don't have any technical skills. I am really grateful for your videos. I am a first-gen college student and I really hope to live a comfortable life without the struggles my parents had. I sincerely thank you for the wonderful information you give to people for free. I am going to work hard to follow a road map like this to reach my goals. Keep up the great work!
Thank you for sharing your experience. I am literally in the same position right now, first gen student, graduating next year with no experience and feeling like my degree hasn’t prepared me for the workforce. Give yourself some credit for taking the time out to research what to do outside of school and putting in that effort. I wish you the best for your career journey!

Thank you ! This is helping me tons. I’ve recently completed the Google DA Certificate but have felt stuck in starting my projects for the portfolio. And just really learning the skills. I had decided to focus on the 3 you mentioned in this video, so that’s my confirmation that I’m on the right track! 💕
