Your grandad Albert used to like Neil Diamond songs,his favourite was Love On The Rocks,I can remember when I was courting your mum we were about 18 at the time and I went round to her house to pick her up for a night out,he was having a few beers and singing along to Love On The Rocks and told me to shut up because he was listening to the record ha !ha !God Bless him he was a right character anyway you did a great job of Sweet Caroline xxx

@@garryford1216 Thanks Garry Val is still recovering but not doing too bad after having three strokes a year and a half ago and I’m fine,I like to tell these little stories because it lets people know that we are all pretty much the same and go through life more or less in the same way as each other but to be honest I could write a book about things that have happened in mine ha !ha !anyway that’s what it’s all about I suppose take care Phil 🙂

👏 🌷🌷 - There are 3 songs that I clearly remember from my early childhood years and this is one of them. The other 2 are Windy (The Association), and The 59th Street Bridge Song (Simon & Garfunkel). In fact when I was in either 1st or 2nd grade we use to sing Sweet Caroline and The 59th Street Bridge Song. This would have been in 1974 or '75. Being so young and still feeling a bit out of my element I took a liking to my music teacher; she was pretty and made me feel at ease.
