The Green Star Elite is the only other juicer in the market that is comparable to the Angel. I would love to see a comparison of these two juicers doing a mostly green drink (kale, celery, cucumbers, etc), and how they compare on cleaning and the warranty. The Green Star Elite has magnetic gears that supposedly yield more nutrients, but until I see some scientific studies, I think that may be a gimmick.
i think doing a comparison with the norwalk juicer would be awesome! ive been waiting for years for the norwalk and other juicers go head to head but sadly it never does :(
I'm confused! Are you saying the Angel is a better deal because it squeezes out a few more ounces of juice even though it cost 5 to 7 times as much money as the NC800? What exactly are you trying to say, when it comes to the biggest bang fie the buck????
+Tony Olson The Super Angel yielded more juice than the NC800 in this comparison. It typically yields 20 to 30% more juice than most other juicers, which is not insignificant. The fiber is totally broken down whereas the fiber from the NC800 is full of small un-juiced chunks. Does it make the Super Angel a better deal or bang for the buck? That's up to you to decide.
Well I have to admit, though I own a NC800 and love it, the Angel juicer, with the solid stainless steel construction, is VERY sexy! I wonder what cleaning it is like? The NC800 has a tiny screen that cleans in 5 seconds. Can you tell us what the warranty is for the Angel Juicer?
+Tony Olson The screen on the Angel takes a few minutes to clean. It does include a stainless steel scrapper which helps but there is a lot of screen surface to brush so that is the most time consuming part to clean. It has a 10 year limited warranty in the US. 10 years on the motor base and 5 years on other parts like the screen. Full details here: superangeljuicers.com/using-your-juicer/warranty
+Uncle Bernie Unfortunately there is lots of misinformation about the Super Angel Juicers. I can only speak from my personal experience and it has been excellent so far. I have not found a juicer that extracts as much juice as the Super Angel does. It is more work to use than a centrifuge or upright masticating juicer and more work to clean but the 20-30% extra juice it squeezes out makes it worthwhile for me.

I understand the Angel is a Korean company and they have withdrawn from the American market. I also understand their warranty is very poor.

if you were serious about juicing-and I think you are-the only juicer to own is the Norwalk.
+Uncle Bernie Do you own a Norwalk?
