Sir , I have done my Mechanical Engg with 2 gaps due to backlog n cleared last year with 65.46% , (12th-60%, 10th-85%)and I think I will get admission to PUMBA in Cap round ..Sir how's placement of that college as I am from mechanical I was thinking of operation as core , will it be good for me or will I get good placement there ?

Sir my 12 is from icse according to that my % is 62 but when I calculated like normal how we calculated % it drop to 57 so sir what should I mention icse % or normal %
I'm from ICSE too. The form clearly says you have to include each and every subject of your 12th exam while calculating percentage. The best subjects formula doesn't apply for competitive exams. Every subject should be added to calculate percentage. This not only applies for 12th boards but also for 10th board exam.

Sir can u tell me 1 year drop and 1 year gap is it same or different? Actually my diploma period was from 2013 to 2017 and engineering was from 2017 to 2020. I had a 1 year drop in 2nd year of diploma. And now in job application they are asking will you have any gap? Hey. As u r ca student . I wanted to ask if Ca is worth doing . It requires so much efforts and I feel that if we put this much effort for one year in CAT .. then mba is more rewarding?
Yes sir, offcourse taking gap does matter. I am not saying that u will not get admission or job but it does matter. Just think if i want to hire someone for my company and i have to choose only one out of 2 had they have same set of skill and resume offcourse anyone will hire the one without gap year.

Sir, I have done my graduation from arts stream with less than 50% due to to backlog in some subjects and cleared in 2015. After done diploma in Hospitality, Travel and Customer service from Frankinn .I did job in Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi for six months from July till Dec 2017 then left due to some hectic and irregular shift hours in office. Afterwards started preparing for govt exams, it took me for one and half year After that i did certification course in computer for six months of upgrade my skills.
