    How would I go about increasing the brim part for a bigger size?

      Yhu have dc until yhu get the second trouble crochet from the previous round nn the put two dc, two trouble crochet nn two dc again nn the continue down with dc then yhu do a sc post stitch. Hope this helps.

      How wide are you making it before the brim too?

    • @SaiJanae
      @SaiJanae 5 месяцев назад

      @@jolieklempner2554 ii added an extra increase row.. so instead of having four stitches in between ii ended up with 5 nn then ii crocheted until ii got the length ii wanted.. PS the hat is not gonna fit your entire head jus the crown and the bacc of your head. Again ii hope this helps.

    Weird question, but despite using the same size yarn and hook, my result turned out much smaller. Is that a result of tension?

    • @breesiekisslyn312
      @breesiekisslyn312 5 месяцев назад +1

      It could be definitely be your tension. How tight are your stitches?

    • @drawsfelix
      @drawsfelix 5 месяцев назад +1

      @@breesiekisslyn312 no visibility between them. Considering I mostly make dolls and tops, I might be working much much tighter than nessecary

      @@drawsfelix that would seem to be the problem then. But that’s awesome about your dolls and tops! Keep up the good work, it seems like you know what you’re doing and can only improve from here :))

      Hi chat, so it’s come to my attention that this may or may not be a child sized beanie?? That could be it too even if your tension was tight, I might have to tweak the pattern a little bit (add rounds lol) bc I’m worried it won’t fit who I’m making it for, I find that the average size I need it to be is 22 inches for the head

    What size are you making? Adult or child???

  • @kclittle3856

    If I'm using a 4mm hook because my acrylic yarn is quite thin, should I change the pattern at all?

    • @fififiona_1164
      @fififiona_1164 5 месяцев назад

      i used a bit of a smaller hook just make the length a little longer by adding a few rows and maybe the adding rows on top too
