God, Ann was one of the most beautiful women on earth at this time.
Forever One of the Mostest Beautiful! Even I had a Crush on her. Lol
Wouldn’t she have played a beautiful Cleopatra? 💕
Dont Forget about Nancy
@@nicolaasjansevanrensburg7543 Yes indeed! Total Fox 🦊 and beautiful inside and out. 💕
So was Nancy beautiful
I've thought this over for many decades. NO female voice has ever been better than ANN WILSON. FREAKING AMAZIN.
I loved her too. Linda Ronstadt fans would disagree.
And Nancy's voice complimented hers nicely. Sometimes wish Nancy should have a bit more song on her own.
One of the most beautifully recorded songs ever. I listen to it whenever I want my mood boosted.
Amen. And these days it's more often than not. 😊
I just wish it was another two minutes long. Once I get lost in it it's over.
At that point Ann was truly Dreamboat Annie. Incredible voice and incredibly beautiful.
You said it exactly right.
ABSOLUTELY!!¡!!
She still is. Same with nancy. Both are just insanely beautiful still 🤘💙
@@carsonrac3266 They never got mixed up with drugs and alcohol that's why.
One of the greatest intros of all time 😁💯♥️
Why do I have a crush on Ann in 1977 when it's 2022 now...
I have a crush on Nancy in ‘75, then I remember it’s 2022 and she’s pushing 70 years old now
check her out today...smokin!@@britishbastard6561
Simply beautiful. Ann’s voice is mesmerizing, the talent within this group was incredible.
But too much of that talent departed in the early 80s.
@@billwalbek1911 i think they had such soul, which is so laudable
I'm so glad I grew up listening to music like this. You gotta love the 70's. ☮️♥️🎶
Ann looks into the camera and smiles and sends you into a beautiful dream of being with someone that could love you with genuine happiness.
This song should be 6 minutes long 😢
Such a beautiful song. A rare gem indeed.
Dreamboat Annie - my fav Heart album. No weak songs. Each song flows into the next seamlessly.
👌 And I've listened to it more than 10 times and I never get bored
More than 100x for me ❤
@@JodiSachshii😊
Such a beautiful song. I wish that there was a longer version of it.
I was thirteen or fourteen when my mother gave me this album in the 70's......fell in love with it then and I still find time to listen to this album every chance I can
Play it over and over like I do :)
There are several variations of it on the album, between the hard rock songs. Those were the days when an album was meant to be played in it's entirety.
This had a number one song written all over it. Several songs on this album DESERVED it.
Ann is perfection... her voice is so sweet and hauntingly beautiful. The other players are dreamy too... this song makes me yearn for the seventies and I miss it.
Me too. I was a wannabe 70's kid. With a thousand mis-adventures. Always wondered what Annie Wilson meant by "magazine smile." " Dreamboat Annie, " perfect title for her.
@@brianmallen8887 I hope to come back as her in my next life! A beautiful woman with the best voice!
@@blythegirl4348 Yeah those four songs, five if you count "Dog and the Butterfly" really helped define the second half of the 70's. I was a thousand times rougher than the whimsical Ms. Annie Wilson, but that's what I loved about her- her softer side. I could listen to Nancy Wilson play guitar all day, especially acoustic, she is so friggen amazing. But I think the other guitar player is even better.
@@brianmallen8887 Well said! You are a wordsmith! HA HA. I love all of their music and have all of their CDs in my car and listen to them whenever I can! Enjoy!
Love this song, and Heart generally ... and Luke Skywalker is rockin' that banjo at 1:34!
Looks like he's sitting on top of r2d2 also
@D C Ha!
May the force be with them!
Luke Skyfisher... 😄😄😄
One of those songs that was so beautiful that it should have been 3 verses longer. The 70's had a few good songs and this was right at the top.
But nothing will Ever beat the 80s.
Versions of this were intertwined numerous times throughout the albulm
I love this version more because Nancy is in close up and she's beautiful up close, those amazing eyes and everything (Ann is as beautiful).
I like the sunset effect on the drum kit.
I alway play this in a loop.
Me toooo! 🙂
Ann is drop dead gorgeous here. Nancy aged well and I often think got even prettier.
@@alfredeneuman6966 I've got twin sisters with long beautiful hair their beautiful
N their looks are as beautiful as Nancy.. N..Ann's.!
They both could have easily been models.
Great song - love the singing and the banjo playing.
So much LOVE and respect for each of you. You made me who i am today!
Nancy was 24 years old here and Ann was 27. I wish celebrities never grew old.
Nancy was 23 in 1977 as she was born in 1954.
There are times when Ann has that Karen Carpenter tone to her beautiful voice. I've always been a hard rock and roller, but that's pretty good company.
George Burdine she does sound a lot like Karen Carpenter in this song. I think it would be beautiful to hear Ann and Karen sing a duet together.
Spot on
I agree. As a jazz person, I don't appreciate this song much, but these sisters were/are talented. (They got a great skilled band too.)
Spot on. I always thought I was the only one who noticed it.
Nancy is great on guitar and harmonizing
And cute!
still hot today...@@zdrumdude
Man the 70s this was one of my most played albums
Roger Fisher was such a multi-talented guy. Guitar, banjo, mandolin, he did it all!
And such beautiful thighs.
The Wilson Sisters are Stunning!
Most mellow song they ever sang
The most perfect woman in this planet, this exact moment in 31-5-1977 will exist forever. When will be possible to create a perfect woman on computer...
ANN LOOKS LIKE A ANGEL HERE. SO GORGEOUS BACK THEN. LOVE THIS INTRO WHICH IS USED FOR THIS TUNE AND: "CRAZY ON YOU!"
Ann is a goddess, so beautiful and talented
Nancy is equally beautiful and talented
Yessss!
Ann is beautiful! There was an old saying I used to hear from men, they'd say Ann is alright, but I rather fancy Nancy. They were tripping. She's stunning.
beautiful song by 2 beautiful ladies.
I wish this song was longer.
exactly!
One of the best songs ever written...haunting and beautiful!
Ann looks gorgeous in this video. Dare I say that Ann was the hotter sister back then, and that voice to go with it.
Ann Wilson 😍😍😍
Two greaat artist. Real artist. Vocals and Nancy on the guitar and harmony. They didn't have to come on stage half naked.
It never hurts.
I wouldn't have minded if they did though.
WHAT TALLENT
Absolutely beautiful musicianship.
The Two Queens of Rock .
Long Live the Queens !!❤
Super! 🎶🔥💥👏
Ann plays a mean flute besides the voice, the two together have cornered the market in talent and expressiveness! Seriously, all the members were very talented and great together! Love me some Heart!
Ann plays guitar, bass and piano, too.
I LOVE ❤️ THIS SONG. ANNS VOICE IS FANTASTIC!!!! HEART ❤️ HAD MANY GREAT SONGS 🎵 ❤️ ♥️!!!!!!!!!
What a gem
Love some Top of Pops & Heart!❤❤🎉💛
Ive seen them numerous times in concert, they have never disappointed!
The youthful beauty of the Wilson sisters, Ann and Nancy, will always mesmerize me.
Got to see them live twice in the 70’s. So magical to a high school kid. So very grateful for these amazing pioneers who helped pave the way for so many women in Rock.🔥❤️🔥🔥
It's "Silver Wheels" before "Dreamboat Annie", but it's still awesome--especially the video!
Y favorite song by them since I first heard it in the 70s
Beautiful melody/beautiful voice...just discovered this piece of art.
this song is too short i wish they could have made it a little longer but its one of my favorite songs from them
Well they kind of did. I think on the album, they revisit the melody using different arrangments. (reprises)
Beautiful on so many levels!❤️🥰😍
I cannot even begin to describe the absolute captivating beauty that Ann possesses in this vid. She is the imagination of every man come to life. Michael Fisher must have thanked his lucky stars every time he held her in his arms, I know I would have.
Love is an angel
Peace like an angel
chryslercorners believe his name is Roger fisher
@@drexlspivey3047 Roger Fisher (who plays banjo in this vid) was Nancy Wilson's boyfriend. Michael Fisher (Roger's brother) was in a relationship with Ann Wilson who was crazy in love with him hence using him as inspiration when writing "Magic Man". They stayed together through all of the 70's part of Heart's existence. Then - shortly after Roger Fisher was kicked out of the band for jealously lashing out at Nancy on stage and backstage during a concert in 1979 (Nancy had previously broken up with Roger and started dating Heart's drummer Michael Derossier) - Ann Wilson and Mike Fisher also broke up. Even so, both Fisher brothers had the honour of loving and getting intimately cozy with two of the most attractive and most lusted after women in rock'n'roll. Lucky them, eh?
I hear ya.
Ann always!!! Since 77 and still in love with her!!! Really both of these girls!!! They rocked like hell from the start!!!!
Fan since 1976! Great Album!
That’s a very nice little quickie Heart. Thanks
My god all the years. Grew up literally knowing every song from the music to lyrics, note for note. Would stare at their pictures on the albums for hours going over all the words. What do they mean and.. I want to be just like them. I carried their albums with me from state to state, move to move. I was a blessed yet tragic kid all ar the same time due to my dad being gone, mom, too. On tour (different band then Heart) and all that goes with it while I floated around wearing a tophat and getting high. An interesting childhood for sure but instead of listening to dads stuff I immersed myself in Heart. Their music healed me in so many ways and I could sing along with the first 3 albums. I'm almost 52 now and still listen to Magazine, Little Queen, DBA and DaB all the time, still a bit of that ramshackled kid remains within. Living in the country now and alone, a grown up rock and roll kid, me. So many songs still somehow relate on a personal level to me. Light the candles and draw a fire. This is the soundtrack of my life.
And while I've fallen away from the Heart of today, maybe its my unwillingeness to accept age or change, I hate it, actually. I'm in for life when it comes to this era. The loss of Fisher to this great band did change things and then of course there were the 80s hits which I dug, yeah, but it wasn't the Heart I knew and revered. Heart is one of the greatest bands of all time and their 70s era was never to be replicated or returned to again.
Not just a great rock band. But a great monumental group of artists that like Zeppelin, name any huge act, managed to create literal magic. This is my love note to the era. Lengthy, yes. But if ever my words here are found by those who may not know, please go listen to Heart's first albums. Oh and. Don't forget Lee turned you onto it if so, smiles. I hope you love it like I do and did. Oh to be young again. ❤
Same. They were the heartbeat to my life, 1975 onwards. I would have died to be able to see them online like we are doing right now.
"floated around wearing a tophat and getting high" LOLOLOL how great is that. But every word you said is correct. I wont have the visions of my youth destroyed by watching recent videos. They were in town here in Va. Bch a couple of years ago and I couldnt go see them for that reason. Shame.
Yes, this era of Heart was so great and it meant so much to me. I remember my brother and I, around 15-16 years old, and ordering a bunch of albums off of Columbia House (12 recorded for a penny!!). We had chosen out first eleven, but had no idea what to choose as our last album. We ended up just randomly choosing Little Queen because the girls on the album cover were so pretty. It ended up being our favorite album, and we played it non-stop.
love this favorite heart song
This song is so pretty!
I could listen to this song forever...very beautiful and relaxing.
at 1:00 mark when Nancy adds her vocals is pure heaven
Classic Heart and Beautiful Song, Thanks
One of the best groups ever! I love ❤ this was some great music 🎶
Forever Nancy 💗💗💗💗💗
Ann and Nancy wilson will always have a special place in my heart, Im so in love with these 2 beautiful women.
This is unbelievably stunning x
Heading out this morning in to the sun. Riding on the diamond waves little darlin' one. Warm wind caress her. Her lover it seems. Dreamboat Annie release date September 1, 1975. This video could easily have been black and white. Muscle Shoals a little town in Alabama that helped launch many musician careers. Aretha Franklin, Lynyrd Synyrd, Allman Brothers, Leon Russell, Wilson Pickett, Cher visited too, etc. There's a lot of footage of them in black and white from this era. I'm thinking Mike Fisher (manager of Heart) may have had a little something to do with this being such good quality. Roger Fisher his younger brother is playing the banjo and is also lead guitar player. Thank you Heart, Ann Wilson and Nancy Wilson for your timeless music, such beautiful voices and hard work. You have helped in such a big way to pave the way for other and future female artists. A special "Heart"felt and warm thank you to................ Mike Fisher - kimie
Golden Oldies
Diese Musik streichelt die Seele einmalig
For almost 50 years they both look and sound astounding. Love thWilson sisters!😁

That intro. WOW.
Omg they had me at Dream Boat Annie....both ladies are so talented.
Beautiful girls, playing a beautiful song.
It's easy to smile when you're lipsyncing because you're trying not to laugh! Great song & video!
The lady certainly knows how to play the quitar, wow
uh huh
Happy Birthday Nancy Wilson born on March 16, 1954. She is an American musician, singer, songwriter, producer, and film composer. She rose to fame as a guitarist and backing vocalist in the American rock band Heart. - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nancy_Wilson_(rock_musician)
What are you - some kind of wikipedant?
@@crusheverything4449 Totally!
Outstanding song.. Ann's singing voice just sooths the savage beast in me.... Let alone her beauty... ---sighs---
Yes she was! She is still beautiful inside and outside IMO 2:
Very Nice
Ann is just so beautiful!
Nancy too - kimie
Another great video of classic Heart!
GOLDEN! I am speechless even until this day!
love this song
Beautiful and Strong..Ann and Nancy ...💚❤🧡💜💚❤🧡💜
You can feel the emotion in this performance
I wonder what point it was in the clubs when the dudes in the band all said to each other "I think we have a major star on our hands here" with Ann. A lot of good players in this band including Nancy, but Ann is the goose that laid the golden egg so to speak. Even after they couldn't use her looks to get attention and Nancy had to step up her sexy game, Ann's voice was still the main force behind the band through the 80's and the dreadful "All I Want to Do" early 90's.
The versatility she had was staggering. As someone else said, she can sound like Karen Carpenter. She can also sound like LInda Ronstat. And....then she can do Robert Plant, totally destroying it, which neither of the aforementioned could (or would?).. On top of that, she's captivatingly good looking here. What a monster talent this woman was. She still continued to sing great for multiple decades, but at the point when this video was made, wow.
Continued? I think you meant continues…
Both sisters are abundantly talented, that's obvious, but to also win the genetic lottery is not fair.
Ann here is like a dream girl come to life.
I love this song, it's been years since I last heard it, now I have goose bumps.
They blow away the bangles,go go's
Gracias por su música tan linda
Love these ladies 💞❤️ my favorite women band.
Great version
What a wonderful voice. It is to my understanding that ann wrote this song at a tender age. I may be wrong. Short and sweet melody.
Do you have any evidence at all that she wrote this song at a 'tender age'?
There is certainly an interview saying she wrote it based on her, and Nancy's, experiences growing up, but that doesn't mean it was written at a 'tender age'
@squirrelbutler2119 dont let the truth get in the way of a good story. What does it matter . She wrote the damn thing . So why dont we all just strain at a nat and swallow a camel.
The best female singer in rock history!
I second that. THAT VOICE IS SECOND TO NONE.
Grace Slick.
Probably haven't heard this song in 40 years, if at all. I'm getting addicted to it, it's a beautiful piece of music.
I just always wish this song was longer
