Kawasaki wants oil changes and valves done every 7500 miles

Annually unless you do a vast amount of riding. Valve checks at 7500 miles. In reality maybe never, except for the first one. But do them anyway.

Next time add a dab of grease to the end of the spring. that will hold it in place to put the filter on. No need to tip the bike over

i tried the grease method it didnt work then i was scared the grease would fuck shit up cause its not oil its grease the tilt works ever time

I used a zip tie to hold the spring while I put the filter on. Once the filter is in with the spring in place, I pull the flat end of the zip tie off. Works like a charm.
You don't need a zip tie. Maybe some copper wire will work as well.
