I mean there really aren't that many generic shooters (compared to the total number of games out there). It's just that shooters (and sports games) remain the most popular and bring in the most casual fans, so they get the most marketing and generate the most buzz.

I played the first game when I was 5 and fell in love with it, I started backing this 6 years ago and cannot wait to play it.

I'm sooo fricking happy, this was the game all of my cousins came around to play. We went to our grandparent's house and the 2 oldest would play while we watched. Keep in mind we played this when it came out on the first Xbox. I actually finished thee came like 2 years after they played it (so long ago). They still have it now. I'm going in the summer, so I'm going to play the 1st and complete it 100%. For all of you new to this, this game was hella long to 100% it.
