Mike Postle FRANTICALLY PANICS As The Scam Falls Apart

- A lot of things can go wrong at the poker table. For example, imagine trying to play a big pot in PLO when you can only see two of your opponents hole cards. Such a handicap is unfathomable, and Mike Postle is understandable flustered at the lack of information. Still, he finds a way to fight through the disadvantage and finish the hand.

😂😂
Ha
That was funny!!!!
🤣🤣🤣..
Allowing tournament players access to their cell phones is ridiculous.
It’s fine if we all can see what they’re looking at.
Why can't they use a wifi/internet jammer?
I watched a video where he said new rules are no cell phones. Seems insane to me they allow them. Should also make sure no earpieces as well.
@@ASJacob cuz jammers like that are usually illegal. You could just penalize people :p
These are cash games, not tournaments
He wouldn't have known his cards weren't reading unless he was cheating. This is the smoking gun. Even the commentators didn't understand until a bit later.
That makes total sense.
That's true. How would he know his card weren't reading? Why keep re scanning his cards if he knew they weren't reading? Something fishy going on.
Right.he should have no interest in the chip readers unless their telling him it's not working for the audience.and they wouldn't do that, they would stop the game and fix the reader to resume play.hes a straight cheater, pathetic
This isnt cheating, this is straight up theft
I was thinking the same thing.
Mike should sue Stones for the EV, he lost in this hand by only knowing two of his opponents cards.
Lol
He actually won the hand…
@@fredrickkenley674 But he had less EV than if he saw all 4 cards
There was a time when a guy like this would have simply, permanently disappeared.
Ah the good old days.
back when the mafia ran things. Sadly government and corporations took over
When? That's an odd thing to say. In the old days of saloons they'd kill a man right then and there or they'd duel. You wouldn't dare cheat in a game with mobsters, unless you're a fool. Then you may end up dead but I would think that a cheater would be killed so everybody knows that if you cheat the mob you die.
@@ritchieaustin5451 You mean the government are the new mafias?

CJ Parsons he’s a fucking scumbag
How do you know this?
yeah lolz this is the best part , lil sad doug miss that. But yolo
The hands are on a 30 minute delay. He went into the booth 45 minutes after the hand, so if he was watching the live stream he would of seen what happened. He did seem concerned though that the card reader was acting up. It's still all very fishy
@rj doggman trust me the commentary is done on a 30 minute delay. I'm not gonna argue go look it up
The fact he sued for defamation is just an incredible slap to the victims.
Ironically, two of them filed anti-SLAPP suits and he was ordered to pay $27k as a judgement each time. Also he later filed for unintentional bankruptcy.
I mean I’m not defending him but because they weren’t able to legally prove he was cheating, his only real move to feign innocence was to counter sue for defamation. What bothers me the most is how we all focus on postle but what ever happened to those others who orchestrated this.
Right after the hand he walks into the commentary booth and asks "why weren't the cards scanning??" how did he know it wasn't scanning right?? 2x proof of his odd behavior around the cards not being scanned
No way ? He did that ? LOL what an uber donk
Clip?
i'd love a source for this.

Why is any poker player allowed to have his phone between his legs?

I thought in the other video he said they made that rule but don’t enforce it. I could be wrong.

Postle gets demoted from
Best poker player of all time.
To the dumbest criminal of all time.
It's not dumb if you get away with it, and he did.
His continual spreading of the cards was for two reasons. One, to try to get them to scan. But most importantly, two. He was signalling to the booth that they were announcing the wrong game. The announcer picked up on it, then switches gears into damage control mode.
100% he had insiders telling him what to do .. his constant use of his cap is the reason .. he gets info signals on it .. its an old trick cap technology .. its so obvious
Facts the commentators are in on it at least 1 of em…I jus watched another video where he played 5,4o and I swear it seemed like da they was slick tellin him to bet but hey I could be wrong 🤷🏽♂️
and how does Mike know that the cards didn't scan correctly? He did it multiple times butnobody told him that the cards didn't scan correctly the first time.
@@SprezzaturaLifestyle that’s the point. His phone. That’s the whole cheating scandal, his phone and inside people
My theory: It's as simple as tapping into the signal.
When the table scans your cards, the signal sent to the display can be tapped into/intercepted. With the device Mike has, which may not be a phone, it taps into the signal and can read every card that is being scanned in just like the Display.
It's possible that the only reason Mike looks like he's really thinking could be because his device does not eliminate those who fold, therefore, he has to do the process of elimination himself and hope that his hand can beat every hand at the table. In this clip, the "frustration" in the end was just an act. How do I know? Because look at it this way: If Mike knew Steve's hand the entire time, he would have no reason to look down at his device. Coincidentally, during that 1v1 Mike didn't look down not once. When the river was revealed, he knew he had the winning hand, therefore showing a "frustrated" act as if he didn't know what to do, but without hesitating calls the hand. Just like anyone who pretends they have a weak hand, in the end as soon as the other bets you call it/raise without hesitating because you know without a doubt you have the winning hand (whether it be pocket Aces and so on)
He looks at his crotch at the beginning of the hand and when the 4 cards aren't scanning he tries to re-scan them and moves them around vigorously and looks down again, then he gives up on the crotch check and plays him knowing he has a6 of clubs and it is why he is hesitant to call his rover bet cause he might have aces though not likely since he didnt 3 bet pre
Why did no one at the table question what he is looking at on his lap?
For me that is the most undeniable piece of evidence because if he was unaware that the cards hadn't picked up why would he put so much effort into getting them to scan unless somehow he knew that 2 of the cards hadn't scanned. Another thing I found interesting is that he seemed to be putting more effort into trying to scan 2 of his cards as opposed to only trying to scan all 4 of them. Good video Doug
At 3:30 he is signaling the commentators and showing them that there are 4 cards because they only read two. He is not alone in this...
New rule: no electronic devices of any kind, not even a wrist watch. Wish it didn't have to be that way...
THIS! Why is he allowed to look at his phone when involved in a hand?????
For any live broadcast events and RFID identified cards, there should be no phones, no cameras, no electronics, metal detectors and full cavity search.
They must investigate n put him to jail.
civil lawsuit coming up.We know he has the money to pay too.
Folsom Prison is only 10min from the Casino
On the matusow podcast he said he doesn't. Maybe less than $15k. Gamblers are notoriously bad or splashy with money. $250k in the pocket $235k spent and gone
Let's hope he has equity in a house or something he can sell and pay these people back. Knowing degens I doubt it. I would like to see him vs Ivey heads-up in the World Championship of Angle Shooters and Advantage Players
He needs to be boot stomped in the parking lot.
There were days when POS like this would be risking his life.
You should put this together with the vid of Postle going into the booth and ASKING about the readers being wrong, specifically about this hand. It's pretty damning.
Why would anyone do that. Thats borderline a confession no?
You gotta understand everytime you cheat on your phone it conveys information at the poker table.
About the re-scanning, my theory is that MP gets some kind of range or perhaps win % of his hand compared to others including the board. Information can really be anything, so I wouldn't get stuck on that at the moment.
Before he re-scanned his cards, it looked like he was setting them up in a correct order or maybe scanning them differently to see a change in the % (the 2 hole cards shown kind of support that idea, no clue why they play 4 cards, but show only 2).
Any casino I go to in Louisiana “only places I’ve traveled” you have to keep your phone above the rail so people can see what you are doing And they will kick you out if you put it under the rail after a warning or two. Not sure if it is like that in other states; it should be.
Here too (Finland). But its allso good ethics.
Yea, kind of absurd to even be able to use your phone during a hand, or any electronics for that matter
Here in the UK you can only be on your phone when NOT in a hand and as other people said above the rail at all times. If Stones is such a legit club why don’t they insist on this rule too?
I've been told the same thing at every casino I've ever played at.
Washington doesnt let you have your phone out at all.
But they do appreciate counting (no bull shit) had a buddy at the table say "i lost the count" and the dealer tell me to tell him. "+4" played another hour thinking someone must be coming to "have a talk with me" soon. Never happened.
Maybe cause i only left up 80 bucks.
There is just no way he isn’t connected to the card readers. His world is about to come crumbling down. You never know it may not have been his idea to run the cheat. Could be a Stones employee who confronted him about doing it. Either way his world is going to crash and burn.
ResDogFishing some people still have doubts about that lol?
The best part about this scam is that it’s so obvious that it became hilarious.
Vanessa said that directly behind the banner behind the table is where the Poker Director Justin would sit, and she would often see him talking into a mic on his cufflink.
the hand where HE TELLS another player that HIS CARDS WEREN'T READ by the reader says it all. how could he POSSIBLY know that?!! unless someone told him in real time.
They've directly linked an employee named Taylor Smith with Postle's godmode. When Taylor had to leave town for a week Postle suddenly played normal.
I think Mike is setup by some organizers of these events. He'll eventually make thier names if interrogated... I think he reads the RFIDs data with hat and phone for results, or are involved in a way. Plus the signaling with the hand on the head... clearly somebody is on the other side helping. To hard to pull a clean cheating like this just by one guy alone.
@VictoryRoad04 They say 1 or 2 people. Could be a 3 way
Allowing them to have phones is absurd. Also, he’s definitely not working alone…
he is working alone. he paid a hacker and programmer to write a phone app. if he was working alone he could get various customised vibrating ringtones for plays so he wouldnt need to look down

@@Wi11yBoy Yes. The thing is he wouldn't KNOW they weren't being read unless he was being fed the information. Him doing that is a giveaway.

Appreciate the honesty, but did it really take you that long to catch on? However, the cheating was so blatant and obvious that those "benefits" turned to "doubts" almost immediately. Someone suggested it may have been done on purpose to catch him out and someone else said, no, because the house would have to be in on it.
Not necessarily. If he has a hidden camera in the TV gallery facing their monitor - that'd do it.
Also, the fact that the commentators at 4:40 - 5:15 aren't entirely sure what game they're playing also suggests that they were recording their part AFTER the game and watching a recording. It's so frustrating this situation was never properly resolved
There’s one scenario that would be a dead giveaway…if Postle was ever in a hand where he had the second nut and his opponent hits his one outter on the river and THEN goes all in…this would put Postle in an impossible situation because he would KNOW he was beat if he was cheating but how could you fold with a second nut hand and somehow explain later why you folded such a strong hand…or even worse in that same scenario the opponent hits the one out nut hand on the river and checks it to Postle with the 2nd nut hand how could you justify checking it back with the 2nd nut hand? You’d HAVE to roll your cards over and show that you checked back with a monster hand or bet and risk getting check raised all in where he couldn’t call because he’d know he was beat.

Likely what is going on here is that he is using his phone's RFID system (or an after market mod added into the device) to change the RFID of his cards, or he's implanting data into the cards to get cards he wants, or is using the RFID cards themselves to gain access to the RFID system to read the cards at the table. It's not impossible, but is likely well beyond his technical understanding and expertise.
I can't speak on any other poker rooms or casinos, but the Poker Room that I play does not allow smart devices at the tables, end of story, if someone sees you with a phone, tablet or any other smart device the dealer calls for a floor manager and a security guard and you're escorted out of the building. We've also had problems with collusion with dealers and friends and or family members sitting directly behind players at the tables so if you're not playing at the table, you're not allowed on the floor you must stay in the lobby until you're assigned a table, also security cameras and professional are always watching every table to make sure that there's no collusion between players and dealers. Why is this venue allowing Smart Phones at the table to begin with?
Being able to see half their cards is still a huge advantage!
yeah, it make it a little harder to make the choice also because he knew he had the A.
But he is used to see 100% of his opponent's cards. I would be upset as well haha 😂
Yea it is but that’s not really the point that Doug is making here
whats insane is how tilted he gets from being unable to soul read a single hand. Like he cant just let a few slide every now and then.
@@oscarinio He knew he had an ace but possibly a ten also but in Postle's own words he "called just in case. "
This is the most convincing individual hand I've seen so far. It's so so clear he is trying to re-scan those cards, but he should have no idea at all there there's a scanning/display issue.
And apparently went into the booth after to ask why only 2 cards were showing. WTF.
I just can’t believe using a phone at the table is allowed, and how this obvious cheating was allowed to go on for so long. During interviews, he never had anything to say about strategy or what he bought during certain moments, because he was just watching cards on his phone and cheating. Players have a lot to say afterwards, when they were worried, when hey thought others were bluffing, when hey were nervous, when they got lucky, etc., but he never had anything to say. When asked about his phone he would just say “anyone that knows me, knows I’m just always on my phone.” Whatever. This should’ve never went on this long.
In chess tournaments you cannot have cell phones with you at all. They even have metal detectors for that. And if in some tournaments you are allowed to have phones with you... They have to be switched off. If your phone gets a text or rings... You get immediate loss! With chess programs we have now you can have stockfish program and beat everyone there is. Sometimes there are some cases with someone watching games, checking moves with computer and whispering to earpiece with Bluetooth for example. I don't play poker but I like games in general and I play chess and all these issues are interest of me.
Interesting how sad and nervous Justin gets on the river when he thinks Postle is about to lose a big pot.
This is tremendous. Did Mike think that we wouldn't go through EVERY single one of his hands with a fine tooth comb
Maybe he didn't think people knew that everything you do at the table conveys information.
@@Antyvas I think we need Daniel to explain what information repeatedly trying to get your cards to scan properly conveys.
My mind is blown that no one ever called him out, like what the fuck are you doing with your cards and then obviously looking at your phone to see if something changed.
i know this has been 4 years ago since this was posted.
But how can the casino read the cards if they are with the back facing up?
That means they are marked in some way for the camera to pick up, right?
I do not see a scanning tool built into the table.
I know it might be a stupid question
RFID
1:23 He looks down at J4 and two other things that aren't cards.
Why are the players allowed to go on their phones during games in the first place?
Derek Chan because people are obsessed with their phones and if one room bans it they’ll go to a competing room that doesn’t
@@ReedP And so here we are.
I still don't understand why players are allowed to have
cell phones at the table, when I go to a casino and play any
table game they tell you no cell phones, I also find it kind of
unprofessional. All poker tournaments should have a
no cell phone rule.
What I want to know is, how come no other player ever questions why Mike's hand is below the table like 90% of the game and why is he constantly looking downwards?
They other players don’t call out Mike , because they are all invited guests who get paid to be on a fake show ! 🤣
This entire show is REALITY TV .
It’s half scripted .
Stone are colluding, it seems obvious, but the focus is only on the player.
Holy shit, can we just arrest him already? Poor Casey, she must feel so stupid....all those streams.
On April 1, 2021, Postle filed a request with Sacramento County Superior Court to drop his defamation lawsuit. On January 7, 2022, a confidential agreement was entered into Postle's bankruptcy records which closed the only remaining litigation stemming from Stone Gamblings Hall livestream poker cheating scandal. That turn of events effectively put an end to the official Postlegate saga.
"Oh yah???? Mike might see one more card."
That announcer is clearly in on it.
Watch Mike texting and Jason checking his phone in the booth(early in the video around the 1 min mark)
Doug missed the part where the commentator later says 'it's also fun to PLAY a hand knowing only two cards right?'
I mean i think that is a type of poker.
@@kaiseremotion854 The point is he's referring to the PLO hand though. And he's not saying it's fun to 'watch' but to 'play' it's a very weird wording imo.
Why is he scanning own cards ? He should ask opponent to scan the cards again
Looks like Stones and/or someone at that organization is totally in on it.
I agree
@A Round Orifice in Nothingness I heard someone who uses hindsight to give the impression they are intelligent also enjoys the taste of penis. Is this true?
3:30 he re scans, then he looks at his phone by 3:38 he cut a stack of chips and kinda slammed the top one in a frustrated way
so basically he has the worst poker face of all times
Doug look at 50 to 54 seconds as Postle looks down JK looks away at the same time as if he knows at that point in time Mike is cheating and his reaction is to look away
I feel like there's enough evidence blatant enough to prove his cheating without the need for adding conjecture like this.
Everyone at Stones is a suspect. The announcers body language does display discomfort. He looks away, gulps and is rubbing his arm. What is the Host stressed out about. The only way to clear the Staff at Stones is to have a retired Police Detective/3rd party criminal investigator conduct the investigation.
That PLO hand is the most damning evidence in this whole thing. HOW tf would he know only two cards are being picked up by the RFID?? There’s no way he didn’t know what was happening
Don't know if anyone will see my comment, but for those who are curious, according to Card Player Magazine (the most prestigious poker magazine printed in the United States); Mike Postle lost the defamation case against the poker players who accused him of cheating. Furthermore, he is now subject to an anti-SLAPP motion filed against him by the defendants meaning he will most likely have to pay for their legal fees. Additionally, there is ongoing litigation against Stones and their parent company Kings Casino. While Kings Casino was able to come to a cash settlement agreement with 60 out of the 88 players affected, Brill and 28 other players refused to accept the settlement on the grounds that there would be a non-disclosure agreement which included the stipulation that they could no longer say that Mike cheated.
Brill and the other 28 players unanimously agreed that they would gladly accept the settlement if the stipulation that they were not allowed to accuse Mike of cheating be removed. Because of this, the case is still ongoing for Brill and the 28 other players.
