Thank you Chris these videos are a huge help
Great review! Appreciate this!
Great review!
I recently picked up my custom order and will be doing a review on it shortly.
Best glove I have ever had; hands down! Only my 1998 and 2003 Koho Revolution 580/ 90 degree break even comes close.
True is the only real/ genuine other manufacturer at this time (because of Lefevre) that offers an authentic 90 degree angle degree break in a catcher. True has a 580 that is the heaviest pro glove on the market to date and it’s wrist mobility is hindered and far from mobile as the cuff is not open. These are deal breakers for me.
Bauer now has the best 90 degree/ 580 pro glove on the market and I speak from four (4) practices/ games.
I got my vapor 90 glove a few weeks ago and it is by far my favorite 580-style glove that I have used
Gotta say thank u ur video made me want to try the 580 hyperlite easily best glove ive ever had thanks for this great video
Glad it worked out!
Kirk Laursen is the goalies name from WMU. He was a Miami OH tendie for a year as well
Wonder if there's possibly another goalie around that might be looking at a Vapor 90 here soon...
Chris, is this a senior palm? I think you and I are similar in size, I ordered hyperlite 2 pro custom set with Intermediate palms on the Vapor 90 glove and the Two-piece blocker with older palm materials. Hopefully, I made the right choice. I know for a fact Vaughn Glove/blocker I tried on would be intermediate.
To my knowledge, this has a Senior Palm.
I so want a vapor 90 but finding one second hand in fullright on SLS is impossible 😢
anyone know if the vapor 90 is a regulation size? because i know the mach wasn’t regulation size. just want to now if the vapor 90 is same
The Mach and Vapor 90 gloves are entirely NHL Spec.
@@chrisxdudo oh really i just heard on ingoal when they reviewed the new shadow they said that the maxh was 1 inch smaller than regulation that’s why shadow is bigger maybe not then
I wonder if this glove is similar to my itech rx9 glove
Nothing is similar to an Itech RX9. Get out of 2009 and get some new gear.
Been a goal of mine dudo 💯 love to get a new set in Boston colors gonna reach out to you and send a email and see what's outthere
Wish they made the vapor 90 degree with the supreme cuff. Hate the cuff on the vapors.
Then find yourself a Pro Return Supreme 90. Those gloves existed first, like I say in the video.
Am I the only one who has issues with the puck sliding out from the fingers when trying to cover the puck?
My guess is user error.
Maybe, never had that happen with a glove before so I was just curious
@@Robby.35same with my glove, it’s the way bauer makes it i believe, just by working the glove it the seal will become better
Wasn't Wedgewood demoing 3 different style Bauer 580's?
Over the last year? He’s tried the Supreme90 and Vapor90 with some different T’s. Not sure the total amount but he’s tried a lot.
@chrisxdudo the Supreme 90 being the reimer spec one right? Closer to the JRZ 580 they used to make when they were still making equipment for Bauer
Reimer Spec isn’t a thing. It was just Bauer’s first attempt at a 580 glove on a Supreme model. Way too many other goalies wore it before he even did.
@chrisxdudo I think everyone is aware of that. Reimer is simply the most well known adopter of it so it's named out of convenience.
I just heard that Bauer had a few different 580s available to the pros which still arent available to the public, one being akin to the style that Bauer made for Mike Smith during the NXG era.
Soon 75 and 60 breaks will be custom only.
Good. 90 degree breaks have been superior for a while anyway haha
