I am really enjoying the Hyperlite2 chesty! I dont have access to bauer pricing so i am sticking with my custom hyperlite set, but I like the direction its going, and will probably get a hyperlite 3 set, the gloves have a way to go for me, but I fell in love with the vaughn v8/v9 xp 590 and now have custom true 20.2 590 pro palm. The bauer hyperlite custom blocker is great BUT that wrist mobility sucks, and the bauer "590" isnt quite the same but I like it. the materials in the glove and blocker is top notch for comfort etc tho. PS, I had NO IDEA about the lie of the two sticks, the curve seems to be the same in the p31, square toe supreme, round hyper but could explain why i can shoot for shit with a hyperlite stick but i can sauce passes out to the red line with a mach lol (has the lie change from the 2s pro/ultrasonic and now the mach stick??) I have always shot and handled the puck well with supreme p31 sticks.
I said waaaay back when , and you replied at the time after getting supreme line that hyperlite suited your game style more with pad flex and rotation . 💪🏼. I will say 3 sessions a week plus games my bauer stuff is in its 3rd season . Glove could prob be replaced this season but overall durability wise it seems bauers started to improve . (Sticks aside )
Glad this review finally came out, however I am still torn between Hyperlite 2 or going with Brian's again (still using a set of Subzero 3s), but I am just you're average beer leaguer. Got my Konekt HF2s the other day, so looking forward to trying them out this week.

Bauers look great on you! I just got my first set (supreme 3s)….the only thing I don’t like is the way they do their sizing. I bought large but I’m probably right between M and L (6’ tall). The thigh rises feel way too tall but the knee blocks feel perfect. I was afraid to get medium, bc my Warrior GTs were 35+1.5 and the knee blocks felt too low on them. Sigh…
I have ccm eflex 5.9 glove right now and im looking to get a bauer glove to match my pads do you recommend a mach or hyperlite 2 I play MSHSL right now but probably will play Na3 in a year or 2
there is a bauer Hyperlite stick but a reinforced one I was able to find one pro stock and the lightness feels the same but the paddle was fully coated and the shaft was much denser. The flex is 95 and that stick is still standing
I knew u would like the bauer hyperlite stuff. Changed my game. Try some Howies stick wax on the landing block. U will slide even better. Don’t need to add much to it to
What do you think of the quality 10:13 of gear. My hyperlite 2s ripped all over the back leg calf with in 3 months still under the 120 day warranty and they haven’t answer any of my emails
With the blocker the finger protector thingy is something to get used to and eventually the material will wear a little bit so it won’t grip your stick in a weird way. I had the same problem and I got used to it

I recently moved from the True 20.2 leg pads to the Bauer Mach. The biggest thing I noticed was that with the 20.2 pads I felt like my lag was in the pad. The Machs feel much more like they are sitting on the front of my leg. Did you find the same feel and are the Hyperlite pads the same feeling as the Mach?

Bauer Mach stick isn’t much better either mine have been breaking on the spine within 1-2 months. Great stick but would recommend only using them in games.

Hyperlite pads = garbage. My U16AA goalie trashed his pro custom set in one season. He was in Warrior RG5/ INT prior to his Bauer set for two seasons of U15AA hockey and those pads are still in great shape.
