I went to etsy incognito window as shown in the beginning and just looked at some what appeared to be trending based on the listings being best sellers and having 20+ in their cart. Then I looked at the keywords they were using in their listings and typed them into sale samurai to see how competitive it is. And took Sale Samurai's suggestions for keywords that may be better based on search volume and competition.
@@TheAnjiMartin Yes thank you. I watched you on the video. I was more after why you picked Clothing first verses say Wedding and Party. I am interested what is trending in the market place. Do you know of a site or software that can help me look at the current market?
@@darleecar I use sale samurai for keywords and validating product ideas and getting more ideas. You can also see the top listings for each categories at the bottom of the basic search. Besides that in occasionally use Everbee to view sales volume but it is just an estimate or rough idea.

Do you use the listing creator on sales samurai??
No I don't. I do them in Printify and publish to Etsy from there. I think that would be helpful if you aren't doing print on demand products.
Can you explain what those numbers all mean though? Since some are higher and lower?
Hi. I look for competition less than 3,000 (how many other listings are on Etsy using that keyword).
Hi Anji, what do tell customers when they want rush shipping, but you offer free shipping for POD?
There is an option in Printify with some print providers to upgrade the shipping. I usually don't offer it though. If a customer really wants it, you can make a separate upgrade shipping listing for them so they can pay for it. Just be sure to add in a little extra for fees. I would use the sale samurai calculator to figure it out.

Can i ask how many Etsy stores you have? Do you do 1 for every niche? Or just have 1 extremely large store? I know you said your husband just opened a store recently, and you have so many different ideas in your videos, i'm just curious - although i havent even opened 1 store yet lol
Hi. I have 3 stores. Yes I have way too many ideas and it drives me crazy lol You can have mutliple niches in one store, I do. But different stores for different product types.
