Another hidden thing like the omen flys, is the ants can rarely be seen carrying lootable monster parts if you watch them long enough.
Can confirm, that happened to me by accident yesterday. I saw a white glittering ant drop next the ants in the Wild Spire, picked it up and it turned into Barroth scales.
If only I knew Torch Pods were used to get rid of effluvium, thanks for that. Also, I never realized how deep this game is, so thanks for that too.
Robin Hood Doesn’t work on the gas produced by Vaal, only the gas natural to the region.
You don't take damage when wearing mantles since they cover your face.
hey it's in the trailer bro are you not even watch it?
Vaal Hazak armour also has resistance to normal effluvium
Kevin Sirait and you cannot even write properly
"Bonfires are the game's checkpoint system where you are safe and free from enemies"
*laughs in sinner's rise bonfire*
I fucking hated that spawn lol
@@erasablefallen7223 it was great for some quick cheap XP though
They managed to fix it in SOTFS for some reason but not the goddamn 360 hitcircle of the mimics
@@zerronyx1362
Mimics do that?
I never let them live long enough to do anything I guess.
The amount of times i died to an arrow pushing me of a cliff are more than one can imagine
Fun fact: This just more emphasizes the connection between the Rotten Vale and Coral Highlands.
If you make your way down the deepest layers of the Coral Highlands, you'll begin to notice the environment subtly change and look similar to the miasmac Rotten Vale.
I've noticed that
What part of that map could I find the connection of rotten vale and coral highlands and ancient forest to wildspire waste?
Nate ya I saw that and it was creepy
Jorge Porras also the occasional legiana corpse dropping into the vale
That's because they are connected... the Vale is the deep sea to the shallows of the Highlands.
You are actually the first one I noticed who mentions that you have to be HR15 for the last poogie costume.
Augstradus yeah, that explains all of my missed attempts to get hat outfit
Always wondered why I couldn't get that one. Eventually I gave up even going up that way or bothering with the pig
Lvl 15 basically means u beat the game I think.
@Will Pack
just session bomb a few games and get lucky ;D
people get pissed and start doing hilarious things like trying to hammer swing you off a cliff but they'll accept you as a necessary evil eventually.
@Will Pack
that was fast ;D
Awesome
5:30 "the helpless and defenceless little mosswine"
*having flashback to the event quest with the giant mosswine*
Same
"LMAO these are the easy quests, 54k gold just to hunt 10 pigs? easy"
"Damn they're big, still probably are punching bags though"
"WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT DAMAGE"
Just reposting what someone said that caught my eye. Zorah reminds me a lot of Godzilla now omg. "Zorah Magdaros knew something terrible was forming in the Everstream. It recognized the danger Xeno posed to the planet, and knew how the unborn being was stealing away life energy, slowly starving the New World. If Xeno had been allowed to continue to grow, it would have consumed all of the life energy from the planet, killing everything, than moved on. But just as an abundance of water can drown a person, who depend on it to live, Zorah was going to die in the Everstream with the resulting explosive reaction destroying Xeno Jiiva and saving the rest of the world. The new world would have been blasted to hell yes, but all that life energy would eventually balance out and everything would grow anew from the cataclysmic action of Xorah Magdaros.
Nergigante was trying to protect Zorah so it could complete its task.
But it failed.
The fifth fleet turned Zorah away to die in the ocean which will give rise to a new continent, but then the responsibility of putting down the life stealing Xeno Jiiva fell to the hunters.
With Xeno’s death the loss of life energy ceased, and the balance of the power of the new world needing to restore itself, resulted in a tempering of the life forms therein.
Until they too die, and the circle of life and death is restored."
Zorah attacked Nergigante when he is on the back
Well...i guess after all zora still a beast, same side or not they kind of clash again each other when they feel annoy
I can see all of these but the Nergigante bit, because it was proven that Nergi is the Elder Eater.
That's awesome!
So I'm guessing that Zorah's death is going to be the reason the new continent IceBorne is created. This Lore!
And I was wondering why Zorah walking on two legs, then swimming off into the sea felt so familiar. Godzilla!
ShinachiHChan uh he died my dude
Would be neat if Zorah Magdaros going and dying out in the ocean is possibly a future ocean zone in Monster Hunter World. It would make sense after all and let's be honest... who wouldn't want to see Lagiacrus in World?
SharkShocker it’s more likely that they’ll use that setting for the next game
SharkShocker if it wasn’t announced when you made this comment, you predicted IceBorn
Nobody wants that shitty under water fights back
YOU PREDICTED THE FUTURE, ASSHOLE
inb4 zorah's carcass actually is the guiding lands
400+ hours on this game and I never knew about that book
I'M BACK BABY!!! Almost a 5 month hiatus.
Oh yeah, I'm getting married tomorrow... enjoy the video!
TerraMantis have a great wedding!!
Wedding!? AYEEEE
congratulations!!!
WOW, NEWS ON NEWS!
Grats! Also welcome back!
Who’s the lucky guy?
Another you kinda missed for Dalamader, in the Odogoron's nest there are two blue spots of blue energy. If you get Oddie to attack and hit these spots, it will then be lit on fire with blue flames. Plus standing in this fire will take away health much faster than the acid does. These spots have also been theorized to be remnants of Dalamander's energy.
Videos that use monster hunter sound effects are the real monster hunter videos
; )
Hi
@@TerraMantis great video
@@TerraMantis do you still play?
Zorah was headed in the direction of the elder recess not the vale which was the problem, they were afraid if it died near the streams the energy would flow through out the entire island and destroy it. Sending zorah out to sea it's explained that it will likely create another ecosystem somewhere at sea.
Javier Valenzuela possible foreshadowing for MHW 2?
@@shivanirobinson2856 i hope not, but hopefully it will be a new area
Kiritsugu Emiya im guessing its gonna be the new iceborne dlc coming next year sm
jon nugent Considering that Iceborne is a continuation of the main story, I wouldn't be surprised if that glacial freezing was caused by Zorah Magdaros dying (kinda like in Lost Planet)
Javier Valenzuela fuck you, you predicted the Grinding Lands for MHWIB
*THE LEGEND NEVER DIES*
Can you hear them screaming out your name?
Legends never die, they become a part of you
Every time you bleed for reaching greatness
Relentless you survive
@@supercoolmunkee Lol 🙃
Fun fact too: There's at least THREE Dalamadur skulls IN the rotten vale, suggesting three adults died. Weird that they might have all died together.... Man, imagine if they died in the middle of a snake ball. A snake ball between dalamadur would be like the size of scotland XD
(A snake ball is when loads of snakes get together with one female to breed and they resemble a mass of coils)
The Captain6006 Where are all these skulls?
One's in the top layer. Another is right by Vaal Hazak's sleeping area by the Dalamadur plasma pools and the third... Oh I forget.... I just remember seeing 3. Either way that's 2
The Captain6006 OR what if it was a hydra version. A genetic defect cause the dalamadur to have the three heads!
Considering such a thing has never been confirmed I doubt it... no such thing in MH could produce such a thing. Not even the ancient civ. They make new life, not alter existing life
Al'Hassir Akh'Dugani Lmao this is Monster Hunter not Dark Souls
The thing about the first tip with mining is that veterans should know about it. Radobaan is essentially the Uragaan just in a different area/climate.
The first time I saw the Radobaan I went straight for its back to see if you could.
A few things you don't know about MHW
Handler's name
Field Team Leader's name
Admiral's name
Etc. Etc
Woah there, we dont do names here. Only Job Titles, right Priestess?
Like DnD
I don't care shit for their names tbh especially the quest girl.
The only npc that's interesting is the huntsman.
Because I've only been playing the game while I stream, I've been coming up with my own names for them. I was originally calling the Handler Navi, because early on there was an expedition where she said, "hey!" all the time, but now I call her Jules, because she looks quite a bit like the actress, Juliette Lewis.
The thing about the omen flies isn't exactly hidden, I'm pretty sure you can read about it in the field guide, or maybe even a loading screen tip... i know you can read it somewhere in game.
That's my only nitpick tho good vid
#1 -mindblown
Zorah magdaros was originally drawn off course by the everstream his death would've destroyed the entire island
So it was more setting nature on track
It's true that Zora's stored energy in combination with the unnatural storage and creation of Xeno Jiiva would have created a surplus of energy (explosion) and destroyed the island. But, that doesn't remove the fact that the island is in need of a new Elder Dragon catalyst to bring about another cycle of life. One way or the other, Zora Magdaros was intended to rest at the foot of the Coral Highlands and is now redirected elsewhere by the player's actions.
TerraMantis Iirc they only need the elder dragons life force to begin the cycle, after that nature takes its course and the ecosystem grows on its own
Zorah was supposed to travel straight through the island and move onwards after
But the power of xeno jiva pulled him towards the everstream which would have destroyed it all
The old lady from this video says otherwise. She states that Zorah was intended to be the next energy source to fuel life for the ecosystem. I'm only basing it off exactly what the game says.
TerraMantis the old lady from your video? Cause she didn't specify
And the first wyverian said zorah magdaros was being drawn in by the energy towards the everstream iirc
I don't think the rotten vale attracts monsters and elder dragons from all over the globe to die, just monsters in this ecosystem
shaynethegmann she says that Zorah was at the vale but was pulled off course by something which I thought was maybe nergiganta but it could’ve been the final monster
I really enjoyed this video, whilst drinking a nice hot mug of coffee, you ordered the video so well. My favourite part was the transition to a different fact whilst showing hints of it in the previous fact. (the severed pig head)
Thank you. Cohesion, flow and structure of videos/scripts are important to me. I think it enhances engagement and I'm happy you noticed.
The whole video was exceptional and awesome. I'm new to the World (of Monster Hunter) and therefore new to the lore. The video was calming and interesting. Although I can only imagine how much work you put into it, I do appreciate it. I hope you get more views, man!
You can also use torch pods on lavasioth( hopefully I spelled it right) to heat up its lava armor so you can stop bouncing on him. Just shoot them on the ground under him and watch em cook and boom mind explosion, you can hit him again.
Fair warning. The video contains some spoilers.
This game is so beautiful; it brings a tear to my eye.
as a newb in monster hunter (mhw is my first one), the dalamadur fact totally surprised me damn that's sounds really cool
This content is so damn good
My poogie never came back after I left him in the cantina:(
Wow... I thought MHW was an action-adventure RPG. I had no idea it was also a horror game. That's terrifying.
He goes on his own expedition. You have to do a quest for it to come back.
angellus09, but will that Poogie be the same Poogie..
Tuck Mun Hum Physically, yes. Psychologically, no.
He still there he is just hiding from you.You may find him near your first house.
The crystals that you slide down to get to the Dark Souls bonfire look like the crystal cavern on the way to Seathe the Scaleless as well.
Disappointed I couldn't harvest poogie for bacon at the canteen
Same :(
That pig is an asshole
Well now we know who our newer hunters are
Hot take: Moofa > Poogie
Literally unplayable
Late to the party and just got
Monster world and love your videos and law. Will you do more
With the for coming dlc out soon ?
That rotten vale fact is amazing, great video. :)
this game has such a beautiful lore... I've always loved monster hunter as it was always my childhood game but never did i know it was this amazing.... thank you capcom for everything..
Welcome back Steve and congratulations!
may the sapphire star light your way!
been hearing that a lot, now I know what it means.
So what you're saying is, in driving away Zorah Magdaros, we prevented our own downfall by delaying the natural paradigm shift, or one could say by extending our own age and postponing the natural advent of the next? Is the Player Character going to be the final boss of the inevitable G-Rank?
What is this, Dark Souls?
Me: fighting tips, lore, eh - its okay
Me: OMG THE POOGIE YAAASSS
One thing not even you might know is that torch pod can be fired at Lavasioth when his armor is hard to soften it yet again without him plundering in the lava, or that the bright moss can be used to confuse monsters like a flash pod if thrown directly in the face.
Poogie is the single best part about this game 😍
As a great sword and insect glaive main, that true charged slash tip is super helpful, keep up the good work!
Never watched any of your videos before. This one randomly popped up in my recommended and I just wanted to say you seem like a fantastic youtuber. I really enjoyed this video
Teacher: ok kids today we'll talk everything about mhworld!
Me: *shows badge of expert jewel* ehem
9:53 I knew the entire rotten Vale was one big giant dead monster, I knew it, the huge monster skull that you could see is a dead give away!!!
that dark souls easter eggs has more to it than you explained, the area with the crystals on MH is also very similar to an area in dark souls 1 with giant crystals
I'm here just to say, you're right, the iceborne map is the zora magdaros that we pushed away......you sir, just nailed it
Came here to see stuff i might already know about. Got a realistic, amazing lore explanation instead at the end. Props to you dude.
That greatsword distance tip was fantastic. Thank you.
one thing i really thought of basically based off of this is the return of the underwater system with Zora magnora's body as an underwater volcanic island as the setting with maybe another super long or big elder dragon (because after driving it away and nargigante there was reports of other elder dragons coming) so it makes sense that if zora got into a confrontation and the two died together, it could become a super fertile reef system perfect for a completely new map
This guy probably predicted the whole plot of iceborne in the last part
8:08 that looks like seath's boss room
Deadly Viper Hunting Squad
Omg! The torch pod is a game changer for me. Wish I knew sooner.
OMG! Man you said it!!! They push away Zorah and then now a new elder come to do his job!! You are just amazing at details!! Hero comes Velkhana in Iceborne. :O
The Seath's domain easter egg alongside the bonfire was nice too.
really cool vid good points I loved the last part about the Monster Hunter world how it's created what might come of the events
What a great Elder Dragon story.
And here we are. Killing them, and wearing their skin as helmets.
Anyways, this was a great video man. Really good. Props!
stillnotfamous Well elder dragons are a danger to every ecosystem as the can completely whipe them out, there is also Fatalis who actively trys to kill humanity
You can use poison bombs to have a 100% drop chance for bug bodies.
Also, dragons dying to make the land go back to the first mythologies of mankind. The name, Tiamat, sundered by Marduk to create the world.
Torch pod fact was unknown for me untill i missed a basic girros and it hit the ground, havent left base without torch pods since that.
Mosswine Mask was the first hard rank piece that I truly desired and farmed for. I wear it all the time. Very rarely do I switch helms.
I really had no idea about half of these! Thank you!
Respect, the editing on the video unreal frfr🤘🏽
never thought I would be so excited to carry a pig around ....
yes, the new elder dragon arriving is in face the Fatalis, but this time, he only brings destruction
The thumbnail. I thought the pickle was a xenomorph. Vision locked on. It was still blurred for a bit and was thinking of xenomorph.
Also, if you bring Poogie to the Handler, it might dig up a voucher for you.
Where you been? We missed you, bruh!
Thanks! I was discouraged by the state of the game industry and RUclips. If I'm not into it I find it difficult to make authentic and genuine content. Luckily MHW has me excited. Glad to be back at it.
TerraMantis Have you considered streaming in your spare time?
Dragos Catalan r/gamingcirclejerk
The thing about the True Charged Strike for the great sword is you actually get more power if you hit with the first strike and then the second. Team Darkside addressed this in one of their videos
This was only AFTER iceborn though. On top of the wake up hit damage only applies to the 1st attack against the monster meaning you still want to hit only the 2nd part when doing the wake up
That last one got me! I wonder if they'll introduce a new zone on the body of Zorah Magdaros.
Side thing about the rotton gas. If you wear a mantel you wont have health drain because your mouth is covered
Jhen and Dalamadur need to be in World as event quests like Kulve Taroth.
Another note on the gajalacka bonfire the surrounding crystal area is very reminiscent of the crystal area from dark souls 1
The rotton vale lore was insane really cool
What’s funny about the rotten vale is that I just keep the Vale’s special armor.
Also in the back of odogaron's lair is two of the blue meteors.
I didn't know any of these facts wow, came in with no expectations thinking it was another 10 top obvious list. Well done! Impressive content
I'm over an 100 hours in the game, and these are definitely things I would have never found out on my own.
Thank you so much for this!
Again, an amazing vid ! Esp the MHW storyline, i had no clue ! How blind can you be while playing this game and walking arround in history !
I had a feeling there was more to the Vale than initial thought that was fantastic info man thanks again for the Insight
As a MH/DS fan, wouldn't you absolutely love a Dark Souls 1 Remaster collab, giving us Artorias' Armor + Greatsword and Sif palico gear! I personally would love that..
First, congratulations!!!!!
Second I knew all but two of these. However I'll give you a third because on the last point you told me where I can find the tale of the five. which is something I did not know where to read. Thank you.
Wow! The mining was pretty cool. I had no idea.
One thing I never understood is... Is Shah Dalamadur just a full grown Dala? Like Gore and Shugaru Magala, Gore is the baby version of Shugaru, multiple examples of babies growing to adults...
So..
Would Rotten Vale Dalamadur be a Shah Dala?
You forget zorah magdaros was pushed away not from rotten vale. But from the elder recess because something was trying to lure him there and if he died there would of meant the end for the whole of the new world. It wasn’t the fifth fleet that drove him away from the rotten vale.
Loved the video it was really helpful. Usually when someone has a video that's called stuff we didnt know it's just the most obvious stuff
Could this mean dalamadur could be coming in the future?
Ik it’s been 2 years but jus got into the game and I love this guy. Your content is funny😂😂😂 and good info to help you out. You deserve a sub and likes.
Also, the crystals you slide down on suspiciously make it seem like the crystal caves where you fight Seath, dunno if they made that intentional but i did think it spices things up
Thats really cool about the rotton vale being made of the big snake boi
Thank you so much for telling me about the 5 dragons of creation it was very interesting
Zorah magdaros died out at sea, ice borne takes place on an island out to sea. HMMMMMMMMM
; )
9:53 i alway thought it was dala because southeast camp you see the skull
Fire on the ground thing is dope
i never knew that monster hunter was this deep :l
and all of the 10 things that is on the video are not known to me, i was really suprised when you can mine the monster when they are down, so thx for that
... Body Harvest? Loved that strange game.
Can also use bright moss to attract vespoids and hornetaurs
Subbed. I love your humor and I actually learn things at the same time.
About the poogie thing what happens if you miss petting pootie between quests one time. Can you still get outfits?
Omen flies are are common knowledge. Its bought up by characters like 3 times at the start of the game
I'm 189 hours into the game...
I only knew about the little fashion pig. Cool video!
Easter egg: Inside the rotten vale in the profession lair there are salamander meteors
