Never lost one either. They're pretty easy, especially later on in the game. With your abilities, you're pretty much demi-god status. It's pretty easy not to die or lose a conquest, unless someone is just insanely bad at dodging or parrying. I suppose it may be tricky with a straight assassin build, but probably smart to invest in a few aoe attacks/abilities.

Man dude I've had the game for like since I came out I never played it because I was too busy with origins and now I started to play it and dude I need your help buddy so thank you for the tips I didn't know any of this
Fun fact: if your collecting a set from the cultist some items you'll get will eventually be lower levels than you are and you'll be tempted to upgrade but dont instead wait til you get the last set item then It will make all items in that set the same level as the highest leveled item after collecting it so no need for spending resources to upgrade
These are a lot of things in combat you’ll learn over time after playing, this video is really useful to new players and really would’ve helped had I known of it before starting the game
Ben Fletcher I didn’t know either, I knew most of the stuff on this list but parrying the arrows never occurred to me, since I thought parry was the new counter, and obviously you had dodge. I assumed ranged weapons couldn’t be parried unless it was a staff/spear/axe/hammer, didn’t know arrows would work lol.
Knew everything except for that Zelda thing. By experimenting. Another fact: the fighting interface is a largly similar to a mobile Gladiator game: Blood & Glory. Attacks can be seen beforehand. White flash attacks means you can parry them & red flash means you can only dodge them.
The biggest secret to dominate this game even on nightmare is CRIT. For any build...boost crit chance and crit damage and you will mow down your enemies savagely
Very true you can't get shit done at 99 if you don't got crit that's why it's smart to do all the riddles but the ones that give crit chance while full health and add the 10 crit chance and go to the master ability section and invest into crit chance and crit damage sorry to make this so long just telling people how to get 100 crit chance have a good day 😁
iTalkStar wars yeah I have 99.7% crit chance at full health for my assassin build, and 800% crit damage at full health. All this on top of assassin damage of over 600,000. There isn’t an enemy in the game that can survive an assassination or one hero strike.
Did you kill Hades I 3 hit him with the niemaim lion set that's my main build but I like to run the pirate set when I feel like 1 hitting people but I been trying to one shot mercenaries with charged heavy attack but can not deal like a extra piece of damage but I feel like if I do the Riddle to get 100 crit damage while full health I can one shot anything
iTalkStar wars I’m finishing up the episode 2 sidequests currently. By the end of the weekend I should be done and I’ll let you know. I am using custom epic gear at this point with the obvious major focus being assassin damage and crit boosts
You watch it'sJordandoes? If not go look at him he makes the most insane builds you can find and do you have the sunhat yet it just came back and I am hyped and use it for most of my build it looks 🔥
Here is my conquest strategy: Use Agamemon set (increases burning rate) and other fire items. High elemental buildup helps a lot. Equip exploding arrows and max out multi shot. Run around the battle field multishooting exploding arrows. Each shot will set up to 10 enemies on fire. Agamemon set ensures they burn to death doing so. Or you can just use a flame sword and run around hitting people once or twice to set them on fire. Even captains burn to death.
some great tips here. One thing I do is keep Battle Cry of Ares and Second Wind equipped and then as soon as my health gets low just use battle cry, run in and attack while I'm invincible just to get enough adrenaline to use second wind and get my health back up. It's almost impossible to die and it's kept me alive in more fights than I can remember.
Nice one TerraMantis! This is the first Assassin's Creed I have enjoyed since AC 2... probably because this one is just a giant action RPG and I try to forget I'm some silly memory assassin or some nonsense.
Boomstick Gaming do they still do the animus bullshit? I hated that whole story line where they constantly take you out of the game and breaks immersion
Thanks =) Yeah, I own almost the entire series and 2 was definitely my previous favorite along with Black Flag. Origins and Odyssey are definitely a turning point in the series and I personally think it's for the better. I'm mainly an RPG player so I welcome the changes with open arms. And Odyssey is their best work yet. It has room for improvement for sure but it's definitely the first time in years that I'm really excited to see what the future of the franchise holds.
They are good, I just wish they would put more focus on the assassination objectives. Like there should be varying objectives and rewards towards taking a stealth or combat approach to missions, outposts, etc. There is too much of a focus on just direct combat.
Referring back to Beast Master: I've mastered the entire skill, and basically this is the rundown: - First unlocking skill: Can tame wolves - Second Upgrade: Can also tame lions, leopards and lynxes - Third upgrade: Can also tame bears Helpful tips: ~I recommend taming lynxes, because their pounce-on-back ability makes them last longer in fights ~You can also tame Alpha animals as well! You just knock them out like any other animal. In my experience, though, their health isn't worth the risk. One hit (after taming) takes out a good 1/4 of their HP ~I don't think you can do this with legendary animals because the quest requires the pelts, but I could be wrong.
Quick tip on hammers and axes that I used, because they are sooooo slow. -- Use a fast weapon with adrenaline mods to build your overpower bar, then just switch to the big weapon to use the overpower ability, since faster weapons (except staves, my fav) mainly hit one person. And using long weapons will take out your allies too, but axe and mace overpower will only hit enemies.
Just came across this channel and the way you put together your videos, short and sweet, and how you explain everything, it's so fluid and much more understandable. Best channel I've come across for helpful gaming tips and will be the last as well. Thanks guys, I found a channel that's best for me.

I've been playing this game since launch & absolutely love it. I didn't know about the hidden features & I just got the breathing under water perk, now I can finally get some underwater chest.
Here is a tip for easy shark kills. Dive towards sharks Get sharks to chase you Surface and shoot arrows at the sharks This will give a sneak attack and easily kill sharks.
Hammer of Jason is just crazy when you specifically build around it. When you unlock the legendary engraving effect "-1 bar for overpower abilities". Which makes overpower abilities only cost 2 instead of 3. Making you a broken, overpowered, chain-smashing demigod.
Guys he didn’t tell you but to use the Hammer of Jason you have to be on level 20 I did somehow manage to steal it from the fort on level 9 but the game won’t let you use it until your on level 20 just wanted to let y’all know that good luck!
@iTz Been Revoked i actually spent alot of time playing but this was my first assassin creed game, i was confused as to how to move forward. Lol plus im up late hella tired at work to play now. 😂😂
usually around shark infested areas/ruins with treasure, there are ruins sticking up from the water that you can stand on. if you stand on them and aim you bow, it will put a target and white outline on the shark and you can shoot them easily while taking zero damage.
You can also do one of your most powerful attacks from any ability/weapon source, attack your enemy, pause the game and then swap your loadout in inventory to assassin set and procced to spam assasination Button before comnat start.
When using the spear you can also add the perk 20% chance to ignore 50% incoming damage to 2 or 3 pieces of gear and I believe your extra weapon slot. Since these can stack it should give you upwards of a 60% or more proc chance.
I've never lost any battle at all in AC odyssey and my stuff on hard and I've never lost a war no need for hammer and overpower stuff but they still good items and abilities
I just noticed something about Ikaros today. I don't know if it's known or not but he doesn't seem to be distance locked to Alexios/Kassandra. I went a few thousand meters away from Alexios as Ikaros trying to view a mercenary I hadn't discrovered yet. I gave up once the flight speed and the mercs speed synced up. But it was at leased 2500 meters away from Alexios probably could view the whole map from Kephallonia at level 1 if you had the patience to do so.
I have just discovered what I think is a small reference to the Gladiator movie: if you walk slowly through tall grass (the kind that can be hidden in when crouching) Kassandra/Alexios will stretch out one hand and let it graze the tops of the grass. Very reminiscent of the Gladiator
Neptune's Trident is great for going after the chests when you cleave a ship in 2. simply get Ikaros to spot the chests on the sinking ship and jump in after them and you can get all the loot
Dang. Didn't even realize you stopped uploading until I came to this video since I started acO again . You were one of my favorites to watch and I'm glad to see you moved on to another great opportunity 👍 have a good one man. Ty for the good vids I appreciate all your work
havent played this game in a while and i already knew all these from experience. another thing u might now know: when ur in the cult of kosmos robes in the chamber go down to the circle and go straight. u will see a door and get a cutscene which less than 10% of players see. it also gives u a clue about lagos the archon from the peloponnesian league about him being threatened already by the spartan king.
A suggestion if you make another one of these easter eggs, secrets and more videos maybe get your community involved and could do like a follow up like part two of what the community uncovered. Might be a fun way to expand on this type of content love the video btw.
There is an easier way to never lose conquest, max your hunter tree or just the overpower shot ability, you will one hit an entire sphere of enemies around the shot impact point which can be aimed anywhere even ground also let me add that while the spear damage buff is nice it is not good for my build as i specked into fire build with always ignited legendary weapons i basically already always do insane damage but without the cut to hp and yes i know that it would be more so if i did use the spear but its already quite ridiculous so why bother unless im specifically running stealth kills tho
On the conquest battles I just run around until a a Lieutenant icon appears above the head of one the enemies, take them out and then do the same again until the battle is over, works every time. Plus you may also come across a Mercenary or Cultist.

@@Josh-kt6jh I thought he sounded badass ad Deimos. Dude looked and sounded tough af.
im literally exploring and having fun in this masterpiece...
Just started and not getting anything done because of goofing around exploring and just looking at stuff and npc watching.
Man dude I've had the game for like since I came out I never played it because I was too busy with origins and now I started to play it and dude I need your help buddy so thank you for the tips I didn't know any of this
Moving higher in the tier level for bounty hunters grants you perks and bonuses for shop keepers to get cheaper stuff and cheaper upgrades. Try it!
But theres one thing every player knows: The theme is absolutely amazing.
Late to the game ultimate edition from 95 quid to 24 so picked it up on steam,I am level 33 and I am addicted to the game
AC Odyssey has become my fav AC.
These are a lot of things in combat you’ll learn over time after playing, this video is really useful to new players and really would’ve helped had I known of it before starting the game
wow roll to get a lynx off your back ....that was the first thing I learned fighting them it's common sense
@Ben Fletcher I didn't expect there to be arrow blocking. I mean that's a pretty neat function that most games wouldn't have.
5:29 theres also a cultist clue there btw
Thank you so much for revealing the secret to 100%+ damage & -75% health reduction. I needed it as a challenge combat system.
I've played a Odyssey for well over 100 hours and these tips in the video are things I never even knew. Thanks for the video
Title: you won't know
The actual person: you'll probably know
person who is watching: knows at least 8/10
The last one was also a nod to AC Origins when that kid merchant gives u a sword that does crazy damage but also caps your health to 1/3
Here is my conquest strategy: Use Agamemon set (increases burning rate) and other fire items. Even captains burn to death.
best assassins creed ever ...thanks developers
I just found out yesterday that there is a storage chest on your ship. It's right behind where you take command so idk why I never noticed it before.
It wasn't in the game until yesterday. Ubisoft did a few new things with a patch yesterday.
New
They give a tip randomly that the ship is your home and you can deposit things there. I found out from that.
This took me AGES to realise
It took me a while to notice this, it wasn't until Kythera was I like "wait!"
some great tips here.
You can get the bow of hades and it turns your regular arrows into fire arrows. I recommend high level but its there
Where is it I got the one bow that shoots poision arrows with regard arrows
@@justintyler3681 I have no idea I can't remember how the hell I got it but there are RUclips videos on how to get it
Justin Tyler you have to kill a mercenary called Tychos the ashen or something. Use it with Agamemnon armour set and mace of everlasting flame
I never even looked at the store. You can play the whole game without microtransactions. i love this game
@@bdcbenjie They do but vastly less
Thanks =)
Yeah, I own almost the entire series and 2 was definitely my previous favorite along with Black Flag.
A good game not assassins creed tho
Liked for the production value of this video. You put some real work into it!
Finally some useful tips! Thanks a lot.
If you hit assassinate button twice while ikaros is on your arm he will fly you anywhere in the game. It's a very convenient and cool trick.
i started ac odyssey a week ago and i’m already level 43, i love this game
I've been playing this for week's and I'm 41
@@tonyklapec430 so i am the only one, who played 6 days and im 69lvl?
43 level in 1 week? Get a life bro..
Referring back to Beast Master: I've mastered the entire skill, and basically this is the rundown:
- First unlocking skill: Can tame wolves
- Second Upgrade: Can also tame lions, leopards and lynxes
- Third upgrade: Can also tame bears
Helpful tips:
~I recommend taming lynxes, because their pounce-on-back ability makes them last longer in fights
~You can also tame Alpha animals as well! You just knock them out like any other animal. In my experience, though, their health isn't worth the risk. One hit (after taming) takes out a good 1/4 of their HP
~I don't think you can do this with legendary animals because the quest requires the pelts, but I could be wrong.
Just bought the game, I love it.
Get those DLCs when youre ready. Dont pass them up. ;).
One of the reasons I like the game was that the story mode lasted longer than a week
Play skyrim and witcher 3 for long games like
Just came across this channel and the way you put together your videos, short and sweet, and how you explain everything, it's so fluid and much more understandable. Best channel I've come across for helpful gaming tips and will be the last as well. Thanks guys, I found a channel that's best for me.
I accidentally discovered the eagles barrel role when I almost dropped my controller, everything else was new to me and very useful to my current game 👍🏼
Respect for adding that FIRE main menu theme. Can't get enough of that epic lute solo.
I've been playing this game since launch & absolutely love it. I didn't know about the hidden features & I just got the breathing under water perk, now I can finally get some underwater chest.
Just use second wind you can never die underwater
I play as kassandra and I like it that way I think that's who we were intended to play as.
Here is a tip for easy shark kills.
Dive towards sharks
Get sharks to chase you
Surface and shoot arrows at the sharks
This will give a sneak attack and easily kill sharks.
Was NOT READY FOR THE STARFOX64 reference with the barrel roll. Made my week
I am greek, and i have visited all the places that are in the game!!!!! They are fantastic!!!!🇬🇷🇬🇷🇬🇷
Hammer of Jason is just crazy when you specifically build around it. When you unlock the legendary engraving effect "-1 bar for overpower abilities". Which makes overpower abilities only cost 2 instead of 3. Making you a broken, overpowered, chain-smashing demigod.
Minotaurs Labrys better
Guys he didn’t tell you but to use the Hammer of Jason you have to be on level 20 I did somehow manage to steal it from the fort on level 9 but the game won’t let you use it until your on level 20 just wanted to let y’all know that good luck!
Well im on 14. Thats not that bad!!!
@iTz Been Revoked i actually spent alot of time playing but this was my first assassin creed game, i was confused as to how to move forward. Lol plus im up late hella tired at work to play now. 😂😂
iTz Been Revoked I’m on 10 level
@@abhayrathore101 im level 35 now.😆😆😆😆
usually around shark infested areas/ruins with treasure, there are ruins sticking up from the water that you can stand on. if you stand on them and aim you bow, it will put a target and white outline on the shark and you can shoot them easily while taking zero damage.
For the final tip, pair that with the Armor of the Immortal to really become unstoppable.
The greek hero set is the best, 100% melee resistence
You can also do one of your most powerful attacks from any ability/weapon source, attack your enemy, pause the game and then swap your loadout in inventory to assassin set and procced to spam assasination Button before comnat start.
When using the spear you can also add the perk 20% chance to ignore 50% incoming damage to 2 or 3 pieces of gear and I believe your extra weapon slot. Since these can stack it should give you upwards of a 60% or more proc chance.
Im up to 77% to ignore half damage and i have the health shield perk
Been using the demigod set and milanese sword i switch bows alot but like Steropes biw fir the extra health and armor bonus it gives
Sheer scale of this game blows my mind.
It's like 100 times bigger than Witcher 3 and Skyrim combined lol
I have the bow of Hades, it turns normal arrows into fire arrows!
Dave Cufflin Same thing happens to me...i have a bow that turns my normal arrows to poison ones and i thought it was a kind of glitch😂😂
The serpent bow
I have herakleses bow (sorry for spelling)
Nothing suprised me but at 5:20 the vanish HOW DO U DO THAT ON XBOX ONR
Shadow of Nyx ability
I found that..
Finally a vid with actual useful info
I've never lost any battle at all in AC odyssey and my stuff on hard and I've never lost a war no need for hammer and overpower stuff but they still good items and abilities
I think that a lot of people know this but you deal more damage to animals with bow than with melee attacks
This genuinely helped so much with my playthrough of the game 👍 thanks a lot
I have just discovered what I think is a small reference to the Gladiator movie: if you walk slowly through tall grass (the kind that can be hidden in when crouching) Kassandra/Alexios will stretch out one hand and let it graze the tops of the grass. Very reminiscent of the Gladiator
I'll try that! Thanks :)
This game is pretty amazing, the best game that ive ever play.. i really like how big the odyssey world
+1: You can totally tame alpha animals. Now go chill with your blue-eyed white lion.
Neptune's Trident is great for going after the chests when you cleave a ship in 2. simply get Ikaros to spot the chests on the sinking ship and jump in after them and you can get all the loot
oh i love that trident
The conquest battle system is such a good addition the fact the Athenians and Spartans can take land without you knowing and you can assist too
Dang. Didn't even realize you stopped uploading until I came to this video since I started acO again . You were one of my favorites to watch and I'm glad to see you moved on to another great opportunity 👍 have a good one man. Ty for the good vids I appreciate all your work
0:51 I just use an OP dagger that inflicts poison damage.
gentlemen. Arachne’s Dagger isn’t that good
@@tristan6510 To each his own.
That dagger is my main. I have a fire/poison build
havent played this game in a while and i already knew all these from experience.
another thing u might now know: when ur in the cult of kosmos robes in the chamber go down to the circle and go straight. u will see a door and get a cutscene which less than 10% of players see. it also gives u a clue about lagos the archon from the peloponnesian league about him being threatened already by the spartan king.
The best AC imo. I honestly can't stop playing it.
I keep coming back to it. Getting ready to start a new game plus on nightmare.
So addicting. And highly underrated.
@@jedimindtrick75 btw nightmare is only hard in the start, later i one shoted almost every soldier
@@Cain_The_Hoarder Just depends on your build.
A suggestion if you make another one of these easter eggs, secrets and more videos maybe get your community involved and could do like a follow up like part two of what the community uncovered. Might be a fun way to expand on this type of content love the video btw.
Also if you are having trouble with fire GET THE SUN HAT OwO its legendary ingraving will save you so much head ache
Im on nightmare difficulty im getting that last tip 100% i get 1 tapped anyway
Love this game
On the conquest battles I just run around until a a Lieutenant icon appears above the head of one the enemies, take them out and then do the same again until the battle is over, works every time. Plus you may also come across a Mercenary or Cultist.
