So , I am 14 minutes into this travel vlog, and let me just say, I adore these so much! I feel like I am there with Mark, and as a person who will likely never be able to travel outside of the US, I am so happy these videos are a thing! They provide so much comfort & warmth when I feel lonely. I know most British people and other people who are abroad dream about coming to America. As an American, I dream about going to London and the other places we see in these videos. This might be weird to say, but I feel like Mark is a friend and someone who I could really vibe with. I just adore him so much. Can anyone relate to my comment?
Hey Carla! I am American and of course you can travel to the UK one day, I believe in you! Sometimes things seem out of your grasp but you have no idea what life holds in store for you. We ARE lucky to live in the US though because there are lots of varied places to visit and adventures to have in our own country! Wishing the best for you Carla and that you get to see all the places you want to see!

Don't count out international travel! I've gone on solo trips to London, Edinburgh, and other places (from Indiana). I turned 40 at Buckingham Palace! I don't have a large income, but save when I can for trips as opposed to other things. Nothing wrong with staying in the U.S., but sometimes people think of international travel as too big or too expensive to accomplish. As another commenter wrote, you never know where life will take you! Until then, you're absolutely right. Mark's videos are the best. 💜

I feel the same way, I have a feeling I will never travel outside my country or even live somewhere other than my hometown but these videos makes me so happy!! I feel like Mark is my friend and it feels so nice to see him out doing things and I can "tag along". So grateful for Mark.

I just appreciate how full of gratitude you are on every trip you take. Oftentimes people forget the simplest part about traveling. It's that not everyone has the privilege and/ or access to do so. As someone who enjoys traveling myself, it's wonderful to see you take in the community, the sights, the sounds, the food and you are just overflowing with gratitude the whole time. It's respectful. I’ve just turned 30, live alone in a town with my friends and family all a minimum 3 hour drive away (I moved here for work) and recently started travelling solo to the beautiful small towns all around me. I now know the freedom and peace that comes with enjoying my own company and discovering something new! And the car karaoke is always a good time 😂
This will probably be one of those videos that I watch again and again, whether I need to feel cozy, adventurous, or I need a laugh. I'm so glad you keep in the real bits- like when you trip or are struggling in the weather on the bus. This was so great! I agree with the person who said it's like I'm on FaceTime with a friend! 🥰

Glad you had a wonderful time in Inverness! The XOKO cafe is one of the best. The artwork framed in there is actually by my mum and the cafe takes in local artists to have their art displayed for free which is lovely! ❤️
The feeling of travelling is surreal at times. We're so blessed in life for the opportunity to see so many beautiful things even if it's right on your doorstep or a hundred miles away.
Those little clips of sitting on a bench and appreciating nature, the landscape, surroundings, the silence but also the sounds of birds, people etc is so magical. I'm doing my 1st solo trip in about 3 weeks and I'm so excited but also shitting a brick too 👀😅
The last 2 years has made every single one of us appreciate life more and it's made me realise how much more of the world I want to see 🥰

Loved the video Mark - its like spending time with a friend. You're inspiring so many like myself to embrace solo adventures and stop waiting around for other people to do the things you want to do. Thank you. I recently went on a road trip to Glencoe in Scotland by myself and loved it. The scenery is stunning and I'm sure it would be the perfect setting for some emotional Mark reflecting shots! You need to drive around through the highlands though to get the best views- its well worth it. Keep loving life and seeing things the way you do- your energy is infectious and so many are benefitting from it.
I vote for more Ireland solo trips! Also would love to see what you get up to in Cornwall. Love you Mark!

I really loved watching this. I’m from Scotland and my grandma lived in Inverness. I actually wrote a song about her and the street she lived on in Inverness called ‘Stratherrick Road’ on Soundcloud. I’m a singer songwriter. If you get the time, you should try take a walk along to the street, it’s really nice with a lot of history💗 So happy to see you’re enjoying Inverness😊
