Yes, You can do hand sanding. But because of uneven pressure we recommend to do sanding via machine. We use 1500 & 3000 sanding paper.

How long we have to wait for buffing after removing excess, as you have mentioned we have gently wipe to remove excess.
After removing the excess, buff to shine immediate by other microfibre cloth, no waiting. Happy Detailing.

Can we do paint correction by hand as I don't have machine and no experience with machine either
Paint correction is high end PRO job, shall not be possible to perform by hand and get even satisfactory results, even some detail shops are not able to perform good quality paint correction though they have machine and experience. We would strongly suggest to get your car detailed by good reputed pro detail shop in your area. Happy detailing.

Sanding is done before compounding to level the clear coat from deep swirls/scratches or defects, no chemical used in sanding, only (abrasives) sanding paper or sanding discs with water is used to do wet sanding, its a pro job, you can use a sander or 12mm random orbital also for wet sanding by machine.

Be suggest on newly showroom conditions of vehicle.
Sanding & compounding may not be needed if there are zero scratches and defects, wash, clay, prewipe (ipa cleaning) and apply coating.

No, you can not, as such polishes which contains silicone should be avoided before application of ceramic coatings. Even if you use polish which has no silicone, ipa wipedown is still needed.

AS: Proper decontamination and wash is must, paint correction (detailing) depends on surface defects like swirls and micro scratches, wash and clay is highly recommended, after that if you like the finish and shine, you can apply ceramic without compounding also, but such new cars are seldom seen in India.

Sure, I have 2 questions:
1) Is 3 layer coating required
2) How can one identify or test whether the ceramic coating is applied or is it only a polishing done by service centre

Generally Third layer is like top coat which gives extra smoothness, gloss and hydrophobic, but last around 6-9 months in Indian conditions, the real protection comes from the hard base layer, so it depends on your need whether you need the third top layer or not ! Generally it is included in price of coating services so no harm having extra third layer / Top coat.
For consumer It is tough to identify on first day whether ceramic coating has been applied or not but after few days one can test its performance by doing tiny sanding/compounding on test spot at non dominant part of car, the hardness of coating will resist the cut, again this is tough for consumer, only a professional technician can identify.
If someone has such trust issue on service provider, it is highly recommended to get ceramic coating from trusted and branded store who use reputed brand of coatings, ask them to apply in your presence, collect the empty bottle and box with proper invoice and warranty card with all the details mentioned.

But after sanding the clear coat gets removed I’m afraid
With sanding or even compounding some microns of clear coat shall be leveled out, there is always fear of removing the clear coat while sanding, one has to be careful and use right equipment with right product with right technique and skill. A Pro detailer shall be always precise in his skills and will not remove the full clear coat. Happy Detailing.

How much water should be added in 99% pure IPA to make a IPA solution for wipedown?
Detailmax Pre-Wipe cleaner is suggested, IPA solution for wipedown needs to be powerful enough to clean all the polishing oils, it depends a lot on what company compound and polishes you have used, how much qty of compound you have applied, how much heat you had generated with polisher (by excessive heat you can drag the polishing oils deep inside the pores of clear coat) So you need to do the test panel with zero dilution and 50:50 to check what is working, its very difficult to give generic answers how much dilution to IPA or in many cases even pure IPA does not works. So for best results just follow the system, use Pre-Wipe cleaner from good company who makes it for the exact purpose.

Sir, there are two ways to apply Ceramic Coating:-
Option 1 - If you want to apply base coat once, you apply the base coat and then after 10-12 hours you will have to apply a top coat.
Option 2 - If you want to apply base coat twice (2 times) you will have to apply base coat once and then after 3 approximate hours you will have to apply another base coat and then top coat after 10-12 hours.
