Up until five years ago, "kids" between the ages of 16-18 could be arrested as an adult, though still had special considerations through the system for being under the age of 18. But with the passing of the raise the age law in 2019, the police can no longer effectively manage these teenz, who are 16 and 17 years old, and as any reasonable person could have foreseen, crime has skyrocketed amongst this demographic, because they no longer face any real consequences for their actions.
So... if you are going to lock young people up and place felonies on their names so they don't have the right to vote, will you also add a course in school specifically to teach students about the laws?
