Our group used these as part of an ongoing archeological dig on Dawnworld. They also had two portable fusion generators. Place to sleep since the ship was at a distance since the area was hilly.
Might be a lot of work to research, and might be too much material for a single video, but it could be interesting to collect all the information for creating settlements and (Class E) starports and hideouts and bases. There are a couple of planets in the Drinax campaign where the Travellers are explicitly expected to build some infrastructure, a couple more where it's hinted they might want to, and it's possibly a good idea in nearly _any_ system they visit. One book has the rules for excavating caverns and underground bunkers, another place has rules for equipment to crack ice and refine hydrogen fuel, and clear landing pads, another has info on setting up ground based weapons on the surface or in subterranean emplacements, etc. There are rules for water purification systems and life support and a control room to run stuff and upgrading sensors. It's certainly not every player's or every group's cup of tea, but there are folks that enjoy settlement building like they're playing Fallout. Maybe if your players enjoy the housekeeping with the habitat, you'll have an excuse to find more for them to do! Great video. Love the Traveller content. Thanks!
