Top blender video I have ever seen. I'm really new to this, I couldn't find it how to separate, cut object, but your tutorial taught me everything, thanks
Super helpful video! will for sure be coming back to this a few more times before I can remember how to do all the steps lol Thank you so much for making this!
@@architech_the_engineer That'd be great. I'm learning Blender on my own and I want to know this for when I get up to designing stuff like full sized props and weapons. I've tried Meshmixer a little but it's kinda annoying and likes to crash.
@@cadmiumeye01 okay now you melted my heart a little! ♥️ I’m currently working on some crazy projects, but after that I will make sure to upload the best tutorial you’ve ever seen 😎 thank you for motivating me, it really means a world
I really liked this tutorial, but i have one question... If my model is too big on the y axis as well, would i just repeat this process with length, width, and height? Or is there something else i would do?
In this case, once you have your x axis covered with boxes, duplicate the cubes and move them along Y axis, so the model will be completely covered in cubes. Other steps apply the same - create as many sets (model + cubes) as needed and use cubes to cut out the chunks one after another. You can use this method in all 3 directions at the same time :)
@@4k_custom Thank you so much for such a nice comment! It really means a lot to me 🫶 Yes, you’re most welcome to leave a tip, thanks! Is there a way to add holes for support dowels or alignment pins?
Yes there is! I can make a tutorial about that if you want, let me know 😁

Very very clear video 👌🏻👌🏻
Thank you! ♥️
Great Video!!
Thank you so much!
how can i set the size of the model in blender for cura to read it?,
i mean, the size of the slices
To many steps and most slicers could cut the model for you.
Thank you so much.
@@turbo3089 you’re so much welcome!
I can not find the bool tool in the add-ons section anymore :(
That’s strange, which Blender version are you using?
@@architech_the_engineer I think 4.2.0
@@bemzefat3385 go on get extensions and search for bool and once there click install then you will be able to get it in the addons
me too
nevermind i found it in extensions
Bool tool nowhere to be found. 4.2.3
@@somnusmortem4318 you can use the boolean modifier for the same results. I hope they restore bool tool anytime soon, it was really useful
In preferences- get extensions
Search bool tool... Install

👌👌👌😎😎
Way too complicated. Any slicer will do this in 1 second.
