No one can do a cover like Rod. This is a gorgeous interpretation of Dylan's classic.

Rod Stewart's version of this song is emotionally, well expressed, suited to his voice. The song itself seems to reveal Dylan's sentiment about his inner ideal of the feminine within his psyche.
Excellent insight about Dylan's writing of this song. Though I dont really care for Rod's cover.
Mary, I agree with you, he has aged very well, and still manages to touch us with wonderful interpretations such as this one.
This is my favorite of all versions I have ever heard... even surpassing Dylan's own take. \
And I haven't been a Rod Stewart fan since "Every Picture Tells a Story"!
There is real passion here, and an articulation of the lyrics that I've never heard any other performer perform previously.

A beautiful rendition of this classic song. Quite different in tone and tempo from the Dylan version and very effective. Well done Rod and thanks for not butchering one of my all time favourite songs.

Rod Stewart can sing any song and the unpalatable truth is he’s a better singer than Bob Dylan in fact nearly everyone in the world sings better than Dylan great songwriter that he is.
You really haven't a clue, Dylan is one of the greatest singers of all time.
