  • Aki isn't Korean (he is Japanese) But training at Kokushikan High/University and competing regularly in Japan he experienced great Judoka visiting regularly for their Tokyo experience in Judo.

      No. More like Aki is showing the tactic of closing space to obtain effective sleeve grip rather than reaching out.
      So:
      Opposite collar grab to dominate a sleeve grip, closing the space then dominating sleeve.
