- Check out my solo ride of Four Peaks in the Four Peaks Wilderness Area outside of Phoenix Arizona. I ride from the low desert of Phoenix to the series of peaks that overlooks the entire valley. The weather was cool and sunny. The trail was 100% worth it.

Smart move not taking on that trail solo. Sometimes discretion is the better part of valor. Nice report, thanks for sharing it!
Thanks man. Appreciate it!!!
Nice gnarly ride!
Good riding fun in the sun, and it sure beats hanging out in your buddy's garage while he fixes his bike!
Absolutely!!! Thx!!!
My son and I took those trails a week ago. Had to turn around as it got to difficult for heavy bikes. It gets way way worse further back. The trail almost disappears since it’s not traveled to often. We made it a few miles.
Great video my BMW brother
One of my favorites!!
Super awesome.
Nice ride! You Phoenix guys have some great places to explore. I have a GS (currently waiting for a new-used FD), but have started adapting my XR650L for overnight ADV rides and prefer to ride that off road. After a couple of mishaps while solo off-road, I do not venture far without a buddy. Discretion if the better part of valor as they say =)
orangelion03 I completely agree, we have tons of great places to ride. Glad you liked it.
Cool Video, I am looking at buying an ADV Bike to go exploring. Are there any clubs locally that you know of?
Not that I am aware of but I’m sure they are out there.
What road did you take up to that clearing at the top? Was it Cline Cabin Rd?
Thanks for sharing your adventure... You made the right decision by not doing that loose hill alone. However, if you ever return, make sure to take video of you conquering it... I have been testing myself and my GS 1200 on solo rides, but, it's better to have a buddy coming along as it also improves your confidence.
SergeDelishis Thanks man. I’ll be sure to do that!
U only live once go for the hill ..you got an adventure bike go for it. You can do it
Those were sycamore, not aspen.
Similar smooth barked trunks, but aspen doesn't occur that low or branch out like that.
Great info thanks, I should have known that since it’s near Sycamore Canyon.
Where did you start this ride? At Rolls OHV? Any chance you have a map or GPS of the route, I should like to do it with my son when our new bikes come in. Thanks.
Is the 4 peaks trail safe to do solo? I just bought my first adventure bike and dont know anyone who does this sort of thing. I havent been to the 4 peaks area since the early 70s but flew over it a few times in the 90s. There used to be alot bears up there. Once I get the bike broke in and can rev beyond 6500 I want to do this sort of thing. I live in the NW valley so it's a ride to get there. Thank you, be safe.
Ron Hunter it is absolutely safe to go to the top of four peaks on an adventure bike. It is a well traveled road that was not technical at all. Once you start exploring off the main road is where you will find challenges. Happy exploring. What bike did you get?
Do you know of any people that regularly go out and ride? I live in Tempe and want to do some rides, but not too into the solo thing.
Honestly since I got my new Tacoma i have not been riding much. PM me on Instagram and maybe we can make our schedules align for a ride.
If you're interested in riding let me know. I'm up in Cave Creek. Be cool to have someone to ride with.
Need help fixing my bike can you help?
Sorry bro.
Re edit and get rid of the audio
