You have to reconnect the camera since the password was changed. Since you're outside the country, then your niece should be the one to do the reconnection using her Mi Home account. After reconnecting, ask her to add you as administrator to the Mi Home account.

I don't have C300. Usually, ang reason for that is yong internet connection. Maraming devices nag-agawan sa router. Try prioritize the C300 by disconnecting in the meantime yong ibang connected devices. Tell me if it works.

As i've said in the video, di lahat naka-experience ng ganoong problema sa C400. In my case, walang problema. All Xiaomi cameras can record directly on the card even without internet and without wifi connection.
I have a pecular situation, my C400 doesnt connect to any wifi but will connect wifi 6 that i broadcast via my Laptop....i really dont understand is this a standard problem or its normally works the same way
I suspect your other devices over powered your C400 and the Wifi prioritizes them. All my disconnection issues with my smart devices are all solved when i started using WiFi 6.

I bought this c400 from Lazada. I tried to install it several times, but it says something like "not recognized", did repeatedly install it several times still issue remains. Mind you, I have 12 pcs c300 cameras around my cafe so I'm not new to installing xiaomi cameras thru Mijia App, got so frustrated and decided to just return it to the seller. Not sure if this is just one of the many issues. Also, just recently, the one of the c300 is not working after 4 months of using it, not sure but it shows never ending blinking of yellow light, did try to restart and resetting the device but still the same. So I don't know if this is some software problem or the device itself.

I don't have C300 but it's almost the same with C400and other models. Open C300, go to SETTINGS, then MANAGE STORAGE, SD CARD STATUS, RECORDING MODE, and choose DETECTED MOTION

That's weird. The power supply has nothing to do with connection unless there's a big voltage drop when using 5-meter cable. I used the supplied 3-meter cable and everything is normal. I don't think that extra 2-meter can drop significant voltage of the power supply.

@@ericchen5110 I don't have a C500 and i haven't received any info if it's supported on the PC Viewer app. However, the older Mi 2K Pro which is the predecessor of the C500 is supported on the viewer app.
Baka Chinese version yan. You have to set your region setting on the Mi Home app to Mainland China. But you could no longer use your other Xiaomi devices if mag-change ng region.

@@aprilcanta9454 I think di yan maiiwasan kasi ang speaker at mic ay nasa camera. So, it's natural na babalik yong boses mo na narinig sa speaker kasi ma-pick-up din yon ng mic. That's reality sa ganitong camera.

For the C400, you need to try full power outage: camera + router. Just a recommendation.

C400 suddenly nag offline. Ayaw din magreset.
When i used 5 meter micro usb cable it had connection problems, reconnect problems, then i switched to short cable and it is solved

this c300 so suck. My temporary solution is to use an android emulator, install the Mihome app then use it to monitor 2 C200 and 1 C300

This is a common problem with xiaomi camera. It’s unreliable. Buy other product.
