been using this for a month and 1 week, from 100-73 percent of battery with low activity, so far so Good, using only the adhesive sticker, only 3 times change places, and still strong sticker, the alarm removal only triggers when you use injection tools to remove the doorbell, but you grab the doorbell together with the backplate it doesn't alarm, I don't know what happened, but so far so Good 👍
Can it self switch between wired and battery mode? I connected in wired mode but when power supply cut. It doesn't switch to battery mode and appear offline despite battery 100%
@@Gohjunyi88 Thats a very good question that I am unable to answer as I only use the doorbell via battery mode 😅 But to give you a hypothetical reply to what you stated, the doorbell only connects via wifi, so if your power supply is cut, I take it that your areas entire power supply is cut. Which means your router is down too, thus, unable to provide wifi connection for the doorbell, therefore, it will show up offline on the Mi Home app on your phone 🤔 I may be wrong though, please take my reply with a pinch of salt.. 😬
I've been using this for 6 months now and I will attest that the battery life really is long. It can also withstand heavy rainfall or the scorching outdoor heat. My biggest gripe with this is your audio on the video recordings. To be clear, the audio record on your sorroundings is fine, what I dislike is the feedback from your own voice. It's just plain noise. Also, the alarm is useless. It is so weak that on one will hear it. Unless maybe you live in a condo?
Thanks for the introduction
I appreciate the explanation. The video provided a great overview of smart doorbell functionality.
